I left looking like this after they knew I was going to a wedding. I was told after I asked for a refund that they thought I was a person who two years ago left and didn't pay. This is really the reason they did this to me. I didn't even realize my feet and nails were this bad because I didn't have my glasses on and don't see close up. Owner/lady in charge said she could fix it. Why would anyone get this fixed after they did this to u. Their work is not good. Look at my text message where she explains that they worked on me for an hour and that's the reason they don't give refund. They worked for an hour and still gave me this????? What other proof do u need NOT TO GO THERE.
Love this nail shop they carter to men as well not many nail shops can get my vision they always do it every time and they are affordable love the guy nail tech he's a treasure, he did this color but the ladies work great as well if you in the area or want someone to slay your nails quite clean and professional this is the place !!!!
This place was so amazing and super welcoming! Stephanie did my nails and she was super sweet! She made sure to take her time and get all the details just right! The nails came out EXACTLY like the inspiration picture I showed her. She also made sure to ask questions to ensure I liked how everything looked. This whole experience was amazing.
First time here and it was a pretty good experience overall. A little unnecessary background of how I ended up here: Came here with my girlfriend to catch up. She's been going here for a few months now and likes to see a gal named Anna. I haven't been to a nail salon in over a year because I lost my trust in a particular place when I caught a toe nail fungus :,( My actual experience/review: Our overall total came out to $70. She got a clear polish mani pedi and I ended up getting a French tip pedi. Her total was $30 and mine came out to $40?? Apparently it's because I had okayed some "extras", bath salts/lotion/hot towel wrap. Was not aware of the extra cost. I suppose that's my fault for not asking if it would cost extra... The gal that was doing my pedicure asked me if I wanted spearmint or some other scent bath salts. I'm used to nail salons giving you a service menu prior to starting, this place did not. When it came down to polish color they didn't show me any options (but they did show my friend, even tho she only ever asks for a light pink ), the gal just asked what color I wanted. I responded with white. Next thing I know, I'm looking down and I have French tips?! Not sure how white translated into French tips...? But overall I am satisfied with the look and service I was provided. At the end while I was waiting for my pedicure to dry, they offered us complementary water. Looks like they've remodeled. When I was looking at reviews and the photos of the inside I noticed their walls were green, they are now a tan/brown. The pedi chairs and mani stations have also been revamped. It seemed like a clean establishment. I'd most definitely come back if I ever need a basic pedi. No extras! Just a nail trim and one color polish. I'd give this place an 8/10 *im crossing my toes that I don't end up with fungus*
Came in for a gel manicure, sat at station 4. The lady literally rushed the whole process. She cut too much of cuticle and would pull skin off. I got a cut on one finger and when I told her, no apology. I went on Sunday, it's Tuesday and my fingers still hurt when I grab things or type at work. She did all coats touching the cuticle so this is not gonna last. Will not come back here again.
I found Montclair Nails one day a few months back when I was looking for a nail salon that was open on Sunday. I enjoyed the experience so now it's the only salon I go to. The service is always amazing, but what prompted me to get on Yelp today was something my nail tech Stephanie did. * I went in today with a specific color in mind based on a post I'd seen online. As I was going through the nail color options available, I didn't see a color matched the color I was looking for. Instead of changing my mind, I asked Stephanie for help. Stephanie also couldn't find the color. Instead of encouraging me to select another color, Stephanie decided to mix two colors to come up with the PERFECT match. To ensure the two colors would match the photo I showed her, Stephanie took a brand new nail tip, painted it one color, dried it under the UV light, painted the second color on top, dried it under the UV light and put a matte coat on top of those two colors, placed it under the UV light and dried it. After the trial run, we both were very impressed and she proceeded to paint my nails. * I live about 50 miles away from Montclair and I will make the drive to have Stephanie do my nails. **Please note that you may have to wait awhile because they're always busy, but your nails will look amazing. Go when you're not in a rush.** Stephanie goes out of her way to make the customers feel welcomed and seen and Jessica is the nicest person ever and does the BEST pedicures.
I didn't ask for the name of the lady that first helped me when I went there the first time but my second time here I was helped by Jenny. Both times both ladies did an awesome job and I have found my nail place to go to in the area. The place is well kept and all the ladies are friendly and welcoming as well as willing to strike conversations with you which make the procedure go by more pleasantly and for you to feel welcomed. I definitely recommend this place!

Love my holiday nails design. This place always done a great job. I love my nails as always. Done by Stephanie. . They have a lot of pedicure deluxe options are amazing. One of the deluxe steam pedicure makes your skin super smooth and smells lovely. It's so relaxing. For nails gel color are tons of choices to choose. They also do wax and facial others. Great gel mani and gel pedi. I did have to ask to have my hands and arms lotioned up afterwards, but she happily did so and I think she honestly just forgot because she had begun cleaning while somebody else finished my pedicure. read more

Recently moved into the area and found this place by accident. I love the staff they are extremely sweet and make sure your ok. I came in on a Friday afternoon , and waited about 5 minutes before they sat me down. The girl did a great job , unfortunately I didn't get name. Definan coming back . What the f#@*!! Honestly, my mind is blown right now. I walked in and everyone knew each other, all the clients and technicians were one a first name basis so I think to myself returning customers mean good business. Wrong! The prices are good but I'm so beyond unsatisfied. The technician that took care of me took a very long time, I had to keep asking him to round my shape more. I Showed him my first image as a reference to what I wanted. He laughed and said he didn't think they carried that color... Okay.... So he gives me a bunch of colors, I find one that looks similar. Cool. Then he starts with the acrylic, a massive glob of acrylic, I ask him to thin it out some to make it look a little more natural. Nope. Still these huge flat globs on my hands. Next he starts shaping my nails, coffin style. I kept telling him I wanted round nails and showed him the picture again. He says okay and then proceeded to square off my nails. Finally I give up and let him continue. Finally, he paints my nails. GIIIIIIIIRRRRRLLLLLLLLLL! Paint, everywhere, so uneven, I do a better job myself and to be completely honest I'll probably end up removing all of this paint, file and shape them myself and do a new coat. I am so frustrated! read more

So I have been here once before was referred by my mother n a family friend liked the service the first time decided i would come back again this time i came n some lady was her with her child n their dog! Yes a dog! Mind u i have nothing against dogs or kids as i have a 6 years old lil girl who occasionally comes with me to get her nails done. The dog is barking n the lil girl has it walking around barking at ppl as they walk by! U come to the salon to relax it's not a park or a playground this little girl is singing and yell the entire time I'm sitting here getting my pedicure done. The dog was on a leash the girl takes it off the dog as ppl are coming in the dog is practically biting customers at the ankles not once did they ask for the customer to leave dog outside. Highly upset at the service received. Will not be returning! read more

Lily did my toes and Stephanie did my nails . Best service I have ever received ! These ladies do a really good job and actually listen to what you want . I was indecisive on exactly how I wanted my design so Stephanie showed me a few different ways I could put the glitter she was patient and didn't mind redoing it . Customer service is key and that's everything and more that they provide at Montclair nails . I will definitely return to this location for their service . read more

We've been going here for 3 years and have never had a bad experience with them. If you don't like the service why do you keep coming here. They have the best customer service. She did advise you she was short on staff I was there that day and you were really disrespectful towards her. And everyone there witnessed this !!!you keep cursing and speaking Spanish which first of all is very disrespectful especially if the staff don't speak Spanish and let me say the words that Came out of your mouth we're really inappropriate, also in English there could have been kids there. For everyone seeing this she is exaggerating the whole situation, Montclair nails are a great family and we should be helping each other out not bringing them down. I recommend this place 100%!!!!
