We went in for dinner. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. My husband had the Chicken Carbonara and I had Chicken Piccata. Both dishes were exceptional! Piping hot, tons of chicken, and delicious. The piccata is not on the menu, but the chef is happy to make whatever you ask for. We also had coffee and shared a Tiramisu for dessert. I knew it was not a fancy place and parking was difficult. I also knew it could be hit or miss but I wanted Italian and not overpriced Providence, Worcester, or casino choices. I have to say we all enjoyed our selections. Maybe the best I've had from here. My sister said the veal was perfect. My shrimp fra diavolo was perfectly spicy. The portions were good. Three varieties of bread provided (a MIST in any Italian restaurant in my opinion). But here's the thing. I don't want politics with dinner. Especially divisive stations most would call extremely partisan. In this case it was Fox News on the bar tv which is heard throughout the open space. I'm sure a conservative would be just as uncomfortable if it was on MSNBC. Can a customer please enjoy an establishment without politics being shoved down our throats? I'll also add that it was very warm when we arrived but it cooled down as more customers started to arrive. We arrived for 5:30, had reservations but they weren't necessary on this day, still better to be safe. Kudos for the only person working the restaurant. Even as 3/4 of the tables filled up she did a very good job keeping up with order entry, pick up, table service, answering phones, even being at the bar (no bar patrons). Do not judge a book by its cover! The simple decor that kind of looks like a pizza joint may make you feel like it won't be good, but you would be wrong! We were greeted by a very sweet server, Carol. After she seated us, she brought us out this bruschetta as well as very fresh zucchini carrot bread and Italian bread. I will say, it was a very different take on bruschetta that I've ever had, but it was nice. It had cucumber, carrot, and celery as well as tomatoes. I went for the homemade ravioli; absolutely wonderful! My husband got the Eggplant Rollatini. He was going to get eggplant parm, but Carol suggested the Eggplant Rollatini and now he's in love! The portions are quite big for the prices and very fresh and delicious. The only thing I don't like, but seems to be the norm around here is no fountain sodas; most places we've stopped to eat give you a can and a glass when you order a soda. read more

What to say hmmm. This places is great. Whereas most restaurants here in Webster are CRAP, this place is great. Both of our meals and drinks were great. I'm going to post some pics as well. Server was really nice. My pasta was A++, my finance meal was also tasty. Wish it were closer, but the little drive is not bad at all. I was really looking forward to trying the new location. We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday and it was very quiet with only one other table being served. The place is pretty plain, almost like a fast food restaurant except for tablecloths with paper over them. A lot of paneling, a tv on and a little cold inside (like the heat wasn't on high enough). Our server came over introduced herself and was friendly. We inquired about drinks and were very disappointed that they had slim pickings, no bar. I believe they have wine, but I'm usually a mixed drink person and my husband loves quality beer, the only beers they had was Be Hoppy, Bud and Michelob. My husband picked a Michelob Ultra (which he was very disappointed in) and I got a water. We ordered our dinners off the menu (see pictures) and my husband was told that his was changed to market price, so instead of $21.95 on menu, it was $24.95. I really didn't care for that surprise, just get new menus or ones you can change if needed. Our meals were ok, I didn't really care of the bland sauce on my veal parmigiana and my moms crab cakes looked pretty lame sitting there on those French fries. All in all, I think the meals were expensive for what is basically a step up from a pizza joint. I didn't care for a tv being on in a restaurant (this isn't a pub) with hallmark channel playing and we kept hearing the servers phones go off every time they got a text message.I would have rather spent $5. more a meal and been a place with nice ambiance and good drinks. Monte Bianco does a great job with their Italian cuisine. The portion are great size and flavors will keep you coming back for more. My favorite is the Shrimp Monte Bianco. I like to take-out because the seating area is a bit of a fish bowl but the food is worth going for. read more

I really wanted to like this place since it's so close to my house and I LOVE Italian food. However- this fell very short of my expectations. The pasta was VERY watered down and tasted like the pan it came out of. My fiancé had the broccoli Alfredo and showed that it was nothing more than stems instead of actual crowns. My scampi had to be returned as did my daughter's vodka sauce. The taste was like old, burnt food. Atmosphere? None. This was walking into a deli in someone's office. I will say that service was good! Our waitress was patient, kind, and understanding (although we did have to return food due to the taste and stench). Would not return but I did see that a few people I spoke with really like the food! Give it a try and see for yourself! Either way- make sure to tip the servers accordingly. My husband and I had our first visit last night. There were a few bad reviews on here, but the amount of 5 star ones convinced us to try it. WOW! My husband ordered the Seafood Carbonara after a recommendation from Carol, our server- and it was the MOST delicious thing we have ever eaten in a restaurant! I had the chicken parm and it was fine, but my husbands food was off the charts amazing! The sauce was brimming with bacon, they were not stingy with the shrimp and scallops- the flavor was just so savory. We already plan to go back and we are going to order that again, and split it, with a few appetizers on the side. The bread and bruschetta that they bring to the table was also a treat. I've ordered door dash from here twice and both times we loved our orders. We ordered the shrimp scampi, Lasagna, and the Mista Verde salad, mozzarella sticks & garlic bread tonight and loved it. Last time we ordered the lasagna & the linguine pescatore, the mista verde salad and the garlic bread. The salad is so fresh and wonderful, everything has been great. My favorite is the garlic bread. If you are looking for an especially good meal, I tout Monte Bianco as the best place for dinner in Webster. The atmosphere (former Chinese restaurant) certainly leaves something to be desired, but Chef Manny really knows what he's doing in the kitchen. The man is a pro with sauces. Monte has an extensive menu that delivers that mouth watering freshy fresh to the palate. First off, we need to support these local restaurants in these unusual times. People's livelihoods are at stake. That said, I'm not really sure what is going on here. I got the veal parm with pasta. The veal cutlet itself was good and the pasta may actually be fresh pasta...it tastes very good. The meatballs tasted 95% breadcrumbs/filler - did not taste like meat. The problem is the marinara sauce. Its....not marinara?? The sauce was very thin and watery with a light orange/clear color. It had no flavor and barely any tomato pieces. It left a transparent glaze like presence on the food that did not taste like tomato. Its very very weird. It was almost like a vegetable soup broth vibe... it had a salt element as well as herbs and seasoning...but virtually no tomato flavor. You can even see what I'm talking about by looking at the pictures on their own website. That said, they have many menu items that are not red sauce italian so I'm sure some of the other dishes are worth a try? One note - with the bread they also give you squares of a sweet zucchini (?) quick bread... that is delicious. Its dessert before the meal! read more

Where do I begin? Let's start with the exterior- it looks like a convenience store from the outside and it's situated in literally the middle of nowhere! It was a bit hard to find but the place had decent reviews- so I pondered how bad could it be? It was pretty awful- nearly inedible and my friend who ordered the food with me thinks I'm being generous by giving a 2.5/5! I ordered chicken Parmesan and the piece of chicken was no lie about 4-6" thick. I HATE thick chicken and the deciding factor of me coming here was another reviewer that said the chicken was pounded out- but with my meal it definitely wasn't. My bf got the eggplant rolitini and said it was inedible. The cheese was burnt on both our entrees. I think we got mozzarella sticks to start which were decent. The gravy/sauce was actually good - so this place has potential- they just need to work on some things. They also gave us these little cakes with our bread which I thought was garlic bread (and it looked like garlic bread) but when I tasted it- it tasted like a sponge cake & they weren't bad but a little misleading. The staff was really nice as well as I ordered a pick up order and because they were closing soon they gave us extra bread and those "cakes". Oh yes and the prices weren't cheap- I think we spent nearly $60 on 2 entrees and one appetizer! Overall maybe because I'm used to authentic Italian Food from my grandparents and Federal Hill- as RI has the BEST Italian food and I've traveled to a lot of different places (besides Italy of course). But this food was not very good- however the sauce was - which means it has potential- they just got to work on their execution. read more

We were looking for a place near Lake Webster, and saw the reviews on Yelp. The outside didn't look like much, but Yelp reviews were quite positive and it had a 4.5 star rating. The inside is rather plain, but light and clean. Tables were covered with tablecloths, which were then covered with brown paper. There is only one waitress here, and it looks like a family run business. Service was prompt throughout the meal. They provide complimentary Bruschetta, two sweet pieces of cornbread and some white bread. The Bruschetta was very good, light and refreshing on lightly toasted bread. The corn bread was also very good. The white bread was unfortunately very stale. They offer wine and beer, thought we did not imbibe on this early dinner outing. We ordered the Spaghetti alla Bolognese ($13.95) and added a side of meatballs. We also tried the Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo ($14.95). I thought the Bolognese in a light vodka sauce was excellent. The sauce had a great flavor, was very meaty, and not too heavy. I was less impressed with the meatballs, which were very soft, and just didn't appeal to my palette. My wife enjoyed the Alfredo. Both dinners were extremely large, and leftovers joined us on the drive home. Overall we enjoyed the dinner and would be happy to return. read more

Went here last night, with my cousin and all I can say is everything was perfect! The waitress was awesome! Very friendly and attentive and the food was yummy and very pretty (everyone that knows me knows I like pretty food). We started with the spicy calamari, the calamari was fried perfectly, the calamari was very tender and just the right amount of spicy! For our entrees I got the mussels marinara (from the appetizer section) and a spinach salad with grilled shrimp. My cousin got the lobster ravioli. Again, everything was cooked perfectly, the only flaw was I had all this yummy broth and no bread. My cousin really like her lobster ravioli and a generous serving size was noted! The only other flaw, was a small bar (but all the staples were there, kahlua and Barcardi rum and captains) I had the margarita and my cousin had the Italian margarita, mine was a little weak in the alcohol department, but still good and refreshing! For dessert we split a caramel flan, it was fresh and delicious! Definitely will return with the bf! I'm not sure this new space accommodates more diners, but its ability to relocate tables seems to make it a more flexible space. My main issue is around forgetfulness of the staff. I ordered veal marsala, but got chicken marsala. The mistake was quickly corrected. But we requested parmesan cheese (when offered) and it was never delivered. My husband asked for salt and that never came either. Meantime, our waitress spent much time behind the bar, chatting up another staff member. That said, the food was delicious, especially my husband's lasagna. For my taste, the marsala did not have enough wine flavor. read more
