Lowe's is quite honestly the big seller of this shopping center for me. I am a DIYer. Even more so since my husband of 15 years and I separated! There is a Home Depot in Downey, however, most mom and pop home improvement stores in my area have all shut down. Thus, Lowe's usually has what I can't find at the big orange building. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... Pedestrians walking extra slow and down the middle of the streets to get back to their cars. When this happens and my kids are in the backseat, I just take a deep breath and start whistling "Move Bitch" by Ludacris as I drive by. Lol. The Habit in Pico Rivera has to be the slowest operating of this chain in all of America. The burgers haven't been all that great during the pandemic. Their PA system sucks. Check your order before you go! PARKING Ample free spaces... not so much near Walmart, though. Lol. TIP During COVID-19, many places are offering order online and pickups in person or takeouts. This is so worth it when you have kids especially. OVERALL I'm a fan thanks in large part to Lowe's, Wendy's, ULTA, Sally Beauty, Dollar Tree, and Bath and Body Works.

There are a handful of other biz plus some open spots up for grabs. I have only been here for Costco visits thus far. Unfortunately, my first impression was not the greatest. I feel the parking lot is tight. I'm not sure if it is because of the elongated-ness of the center. Nevertheless, it holds some of my favorite tenants marked with an asterisk below. I have yet to offer my patronage and support to them, but one fine day, I will. I look forward to new tenants that wishes to complement this center. Happy Shopping and Dining! Typical clothing franchises. And a pretty regular food court. I never really thought this was a nice mall but now it feels like this place is giving more a ghetto vibe. I originally came with the intention of just relaxing and window shopping... you know how that goes. Somehow, those are always the shopping trips where you find the best deals. I ended up leaving with way more than I planned, including a bunch of cute clothes and new shoes. Can we also talk about the lululemon outlet? Where have these deals been hiding?! It was such an unexpected gem, and I found so many pieces I loved. Another thing I appreciated was how easy everything felt. Parking was simple, walking around the outlets was stress-free, and the overall atmosphere was much more relaxed than I expected for an LA shopping center. If you're looking for a fun shopping day without melting in the summer heat, I'd definitely recommend making the trip. Just be warned... if you tell yourself you're "only window shopping," you're probably going home with shopping bags.

We came to enjoy the kids club, it's held around the center between the stores around the playground outside. The event is free and doesn't cost you to attend! It was a really hot day so luckily there were tents out for some shade. They also offered free water and lemonade (courtesy from vendors around) and a raffle at the end if you register during the event. There's a pond fountain containing goldfish and turtles which is fun to watch and have the kids watch as well. When you're hungry or bored, there's plenty of shops around the area to explore as get something to eat and drink. The best places would probably be the food court since it has the most variety of restaurants but there's also nearby restaurants such as noodles, hot pot, kbbq, and meet fresh with sweets and beverages. Restrooms at the promenade are family based and gendered, located behind California pizza kitchen.
