I can't stress enough the importance of doing your research before you make the jump to do laser hair removal. I did a lot of research and found the type of laser they use is the best. Then I looked up who uses that laser in our area. This center came up and I read the reviews here on yelp and was sold. I was happy to see it was a woman doing the procedure, that people had great experiences, and they did indeed use he laser I was looking for. The laser they use is just for hair removal, it doesn't do a bunch of other procedures and do none of them well. This laser just does hair removal and it does it right. I was kind of crazy and started with a large area (my legs) first. I'm going in next week to get started on some other areas! Lisa went out of the way to make sure I was comfortable and to make sure it was a great experiance. One of my friends is actually driving down from the Bay Area to see her and my husband is going to go as well. Excellent facility, friendly staff, great results! Lisa was amazing and kind as well as super knowledgeable! She is an RN so understands the science behind the hair removal process and is very thorough in explaining how to maximize each treatment! She takes her time and really focuses on quality. Little do people realize but many of the machines in other clinics are not made for hair removal and often do a subpar (and temporary) job in removing hair. It took me a few weeks to decide to come forward with how gross of a feeling I was left with and grossly treated after my last visit here. I've come for over 12 sessions(only 2 of those times were all the areas I asked for completed), and the one time I had a mix up and phone issues I missed an appointment called back immediately no answer and no call back to my message I left explaining and apologizing. I Leave 2 more messages still nothing so I call again luckily someone answered and was awkward when I told them my name. Ignored it made the appointment anyway and when I got there Lisa had me waiting 30 min which is the time of a whole appointment which I also ignored so I can further get a feel. When she finally comes out we greet like usual and I again quickly apologize and very snarlingly tells me to be more considerate and even tho I was so taken back and obviously offended I continue to explain and she just repeated the same thing and just acted like what I was saying was bullsh*** (excuse my language). I just wanted it to be done with since she will be applying pain to my face either way and after the appointment when she usually books for another appoint when she jus said "yeah so you'll call" like what ok??? There was virtually no pain, she puts ice packs on, and makes sure you are always comfortable. She is super flexible and relax, making for a very comfortable visit. Lisa is fantastic! Very professional, warm, and kind. The laser hair removal equipment she uses does the job and I've had good, lasting results (I have dark hair and light-medium skin).The sessions are reasonably priced and I have enjoyed all my visits with Lisa. I've been happy to have a female and a RN do this over anyone else. You do have to pick up the prescribed numbing cream and apply it before you show up, but I do believe the pricing reflects this. I have visted this clinic twice. Both of which times they had me waiting in the lobby for 30 Minutes. They call you the day before to remind you of your appointment time, make sure you come. Then could careless if they take you in on time. The services I went for cost about $200 a session, you would think they would have the common curtosey to take you in at your appointment time. If I have a nail shop appointment they are always ready when i arrive. There was zero consideration for the customer. I could clearly see the lady that was supposed to be helping me doing nothing on both appointments; just choosing to make me wait. NO THANK YOU!! i will spend my money elsewhere. read more
