Great service, drinks, and food. Get the ravioli limone and pesto pasta. Don't get the calimari as the pieces are super thin and mostly batter.

We stayed at the Montauk Manor for a weekend event with the American Littoral Society and our meals were all at Monte's. Breakfast was amazing -- first day I had poached eggs with sausages which came with bread and hash and second day I had ham and cheese omelette and bacon which also came with bread and hash -- huge portions. The sausages were really tasty. Lunch was good - I tried the fish and chips. It was a light batter, not breaded. That's the way I like my fish. The Caesar salad tasted fresh and the dressing was flavorful. Dinner -- chicken Parmesan was a huge portion that I only could eat about a third of it. Packed the rest to go. The arugula salad had a nice dressing. I would recommend a visit to Monte's for any meal.

Pleasant restaurant inside the Montauk Manor hotel, catering to guests and locals drawn te the historic building and elegant setting. The food is predominantly Italian-American with a variety of pasta dishes and plenty of seafood as well. I had the fluke piccata which was mellow and satisfying. The capers and olives lent some texture to the mouthfeel and provided savory flavor to complement the mild fish. I also ate the complimentary bread with much gusto. For dessert, I tried a slice of the Italian Rainbow Cookie Cake. This was a little disappointing as the cake was dry and had a pungent garlicky flavor, like it had been cut with a knife that had just chopped garlic. I recommend inquiring about what's freshest when making your selections! Service was great (shout out to Michael) and I felt welcome and looked after. A step above many hotel restaurants and worth a visit if you're in town.

Went here for a brunch on a Saturday after checkout. We ordered the French toast and the avocado toast. The food was average, nothing I would come back for. The server was nice and attentive.

We had our meeting at the Manoe and chose Monte's as our last supper. I really liked the venue which is cost but not pretentious. The bar at the front is really casual and the perfect way to kick off dinner . The service is friendly stellar and very comforting . The food was amazing as my team couldn't stop raving . We ordered many items but the meals speak for themselves . You can see how professional and prideful they are - a must visit in Montauk !

    Fluke Picatta

Excellent food and service! 10-10! The Fluke Picatta is the best I have ever had. We will be regulars!

It was a slow night at Monty's (four tables were occupied), but we sat in the restaurant for 20 minutes without being acknowledged. Nobody came over to at least ask if we wanted water. Another table (party of four) was seated after us and they were attended to almost immediately. Not an eye was batted by the staff when we got up to leave. It's a shame since we're staying at this hotel and I was prepared to overpay for dinner tonight. I guess they feel that our party of two was inconsequential to their business, and they didn't need our money. Below is a pic of the near empty restaurant.

    Cold food to take home

I would not recommend this restaurant. I was here a few months ago to try the bolognese and it was virtually flavorless. The service is friendly, but tonight they fired our food way too early and by the time we finished appetizers it was cold. Improvements need to be made.

Starting with the room, the size was good, but it could have been cleaner. I noticed some dust and dirt in the corners, and the room felt like it could use an update. The coffee machine looked older and wasn't very clean, the refrigerator wasn't working properly, and there wasn't an ice machine nearby--you have to call the front desk for ice. At night, the room wasn't very soundproof. You can hear footsteps from the room above, along with other noises, so if you're a light sleeper, it's something to keep in mind. On the weekend, the hotel was lively because of a wedding and the nightclub. There was music until around midnight, and when guests left, the noise from the cars made it difficult to get a full night's sleep. The food and drinks were very good, although they were on the expensive side. I was happy with the quality of the dining experience. Most of the staff were fine, though I noticed a few employees who seemed less welcoming. Thankfully, everyone I interacted with was polite. The overall atmosphere was the highlight of my stay. The property has a beautiful, relaxing vibe with a classy crowd, and I especially loved the morning yoga classes. I spent about $5,000 for a two-night stay, so I expected a more luxurious room experience. Mine was one of the more affordable room categories, and it didn't feel especially upscale for the price. Next time, I would probably visit for the food, drinks, beach, or spa day pass instead of staying overnight. If you're looking for a lively resort with plenty of events and activities, this is a great choice. If you're looking for a very quiet hotel, you may want to consider other options.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience during my weekend at Gurney's…read more I will say, I feel it is quiet when it comes to offering amenities, but that is probably due to the winter season. We ate breakfast and lunch at the Dune Cafe. Food was delicious. I will say maybe the Poke Bowls are a little pricy ($36) considering you order at the counter and eat out of plastic bowls with plastic utensils, but the fish was fresh and the bowl was delicious. Iced Coffee was $9, but that's an average price for coffee at this point. The bar food was amazing! We started with the mixology class which was so fun. Definitely loved that experience. The pretzel is huge and was so soft and perfectly salted. The hummus and pita were DELICIOUS!! I definitely recommend trying the hummus. We experienced the bathhouse which is nice and relaxing. We weren't able to get robes since they were short on robes and only offered them to spa guests. Understandable, but it was a little uncomfortable walking through the lobby in a towel. They didn't kick us out after 50 minutes, which was nice and we appreciated that. The pools were nice, they seemed maintained. The steam room and sauna were clean as well. The room we stayed in was nice and clean. I liked the different living areas. Note there are a few steps inside to walk up to the bedroom and bathroom. Also, there are steps and can be a substantial amount of steps to get up to the room depending on your room number. My only complaint is - we stayed during a light snowstorm. Although the snow was light, the stairs weren't cleaned and got slippery as we were walking to and from our room to the lobby. Would have liked to see the crew dusting off the steps. Overall, it was a nice experience. Still would say it was pricy for the off season, but I think it was well worth the money spent. Glad to say I stayed at gurneys at least once in my lifetime

There was no staff member available to check us in, and after receiving the access code to our room, we discovered the door lock was malfunctioning. The room itself was also noticeably darker and less clean than advertised. Additionally, several amenities promoted as part of the property were unavailable. The on-site restaurant was completely closed throughout our stay, there was no water or ice station, and there was not even a vending machine available for guests. Perhaps most concerning was the complete lack of on-site customer service. There were no staff members, security personnel, or anyone available to assist guests in person. We were instructed to text a phone number if we needed assistance. During our stay, I requested an iron via text and never received a response. The property is marketed as a resort experience, but our stay was anything but. The lack of basic services, unavailable amenities, and absence of guest support made for a frustrating and disappointing experience.

DO NOT STAY HERE!…read more Our experience was extremely disappointing from the beginning. After paying for our reservation, we received no confirmation and received no response to multiple calls and emails. I ultimately had to contact the Chamber of Commerce to confirm that the business was legitimate. It was not until approximately one week before our trip that I was finally able to reach someone by email and phone and confirm our reservation. Immediately following, I received a cancellation policy stating that cancellations had to be made 14 days prior to arrival, leaving us with no reasonable opportunity to reconsider our stay. Had we known the actual condition of the property and that the restaurant was not operating with no supplemental vending, we would have canceled--particularly because I was with my senior citizen mother and was traveling with my two young children. 1. There was no operating restaurant, food service, ice, microwave, beverages, or meaningful amenities on the property. 2. No welcome information containing WiFi info or local recommendations. 3. The property appeared neglected, with overgrown landscaping blocking basic entrances to the property, glass in the sand, dead plants, accumulated garbage, and generally poor upkeep. 4. Our room was missing light bulbs, had a broken light fixture, non-functioning bathroom vanity lights, dead remote batteries, stained mattress and chairs, grotesque soiled rugs, drain flies, and a strong musty/mold-like odor that caused us to have an allergic reaction. Despite repeatedly requesting light bulbs and batteries, these basic items were not replaced until our final day. 5. There was insufficient privacy as the curtains did not cover the windows in full. 6. The communal bathrooms contained indecent photographs of women on the walls, which I found completely inappropriate given that I was using the restroom with my children. 7. There was no clear front desk or any identifiable staff presence, and communication with the person answering the property's phone number (taped to the door no less!), was extremely poor and unhelpful. 8. We received no assistance with luggage and were not offered any type of solution such as a cart or wagon. We had to carry heavy bags and a cooler on our own at arrival and departure. 9. The outdoor fire pit could not be safely used. An attempt to light it involved lighter fluid, producing heavy smoke and fumes that forced me to move my children and myself, an asthmatic, away from the area. 10. Signs warned of recent pesticide application, but no one could tell us when it had been applied or provide basic safety information. 11. On our final day, unannounced construction was taking place with noise debris in the air. Overall, the property felt cold, unwelcoming, poorly maintained, and largely unattended. There was essentially no hospitality or guest service during our stay. The lack of basic communication, maintenance, cleanliness, amenities, and hospitality was far beyond what we reasonably expected based on the booking. When we contacted the property again regarding our poor experience, we received no response.

Parking can be slightly challenging because all spots are not overtly clear.
