We went in to the store a few days later and were met by their son Josh (it's great to see what a family business this is!). Again, he was very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and striking that balance between helping and giving us the space to figure out what was best for us. The checked with three different suppliers and got exactly what we wanted and got it here quickly. When I came back to pick the rings up and pay the balance I got to interact with Michelle. Once again... bright, friendly and very helpful. She gave me a number of tips on keeping the rings in top condition and all three congratulated us on the upcoming wedding before I left. I left my 50-year old diamond solitaire ring at Cassios' for a larger diamond upgrade. When I got…read moremy ring back, the unique finish on the gold band was DESTROYED in the process. It looked like the band was polished clean with NO trace of the unique design. The Cassios' chose to deny ANY responsibility for the damage. They would not even acknowledge that the finish existed when I left the ring or that they could possibly have removed it. They charged over $500 for the "repair" NOT including the price of the diamond and flatly refused to refund the "repair" charge. I spent over $2600 to upgrade this ring. They destroyed the unique character of my vintage ring and expressed NO concern whatsoever for my dissatisfaction. They immediately went into legalistic defense mode...deny deny deny. They treated me like a grifter despite having been a repeat customer for many years. Mr. Cassio was defensive, arrogant and patronizing when discussing the problem. Thirty years of experience in the jewelry business does NOT make one infallible. Human beings can make mistakes. Taking responsibility and MAKING THINGS RIGHT is the very LEAST that an HONEST business person should do. Nothing has been made right in this situation. My ring was IRREPARABLY damaged. Cassios' IS responsible. Their denials and nastiness are inexcusable. I don't want to wear my ring now. It does not look the same and it only reminds me that the Cassios' ripped me off and treated me like trash.

It was such a friendly and smooth process, very reasonable in repair cost, and the staff were so incredibly kind. Jeff, himself, helped me the day I picked up to make sure my ring was exactly how I wanted it and to my expectation. We further discussed adding an additional band to my set, and he took the time to chat with me about what would look best with my current set. An overall fantastic experience.
