Manager that I talked too was very accommodating , There price is very reasonable . The two people that was sent to help us moved so fast considering that we are in the 7th floor . They have all this equipments needed to carry and transport your things like a truck bigger than than that of U-haul. They will wrap your bed and your sofa with big plastic bag . I highly recommend this company as opposed to getting a U-haul and those guys standing in front to help you out. Getting those guys is a bit risky considering that when they got injured or had an accident lifting those heavy furnitures , sofa etc. , it will be all in your expense to shoulder there medical expenses. So i strongly advise to get a professional moving company so that there will be no hustles. I would also advise If you're planning to move , In order to have an easy transport from and too you're new place, If you could put all those little things that fits in a big box, try to do it so so it's easier for them to load and unload. read more

I used these movers in the past and had a great experience, so I reached out to schedule them again. At the time of my inquiry, I let the owner Sal know that I saved the return customer coupon to get a $50 discount. He said it wouldn't be a problem. They quoted $120/hr for two movers. If you paid cash it was 10% off. My move was a 2 bedroom and about 4 miles away, so I figured it wouldn't take long. The movers arrived and told me I was the only move of their day (it was a Sunday) and they took their time. This was really different from my last move where the guys really moved quickly and efficiently. These guys were in no rush, and after 8 hours of moving, I just had to tell them to stop and I would move the rest. I just didn't understand the inefficiency. At the end, I paid cash, and I wasn't offered the 10% discount. Nor was I offered the $50 discount for return customers. It was the end of the day, and I was exhausted so I told the guy I would contact the owner to get reimbursement. I sent an email to the owner afterwards (Sal), and never got a response. While I previously recommended them, I now see that the business has changed to not be customer-centric and I will not be using them or recommending them again. read more

We discussed pricing structure, additional needs I might have that the average person wouldn't think of (like garment boxes), and he was as flexible as possible on timing. I was able to send him pictures of the items I needed moved, which to me shows he is concerned with pricing accuracy. The day of the move, the driver (Rigo) called me prior to arriving at my place. Rigo & Javier were awesome! They were polite, careful with my belongings and went above and beyond to be as helpful as possible. I can't overstate how comfortable I felt with them, and how much I appreciated their friendliness (you really don't want a stranger in your house who is not nice). They were efficient, they weren't slowed down by the two steep staircases they had to climb to move my possessions, and I enjoyed chatting with them as they were really nice guys! I can feel that they just want you to be as satisfied as possible, and I am truly grateful for the service delivered. Everything was intact and neat. I've used Red Carpet Moving twice now - both times they have been phenomenal. Given that moving is such a stressful and often huge undertaking, Red Carpet is professional, careful and efficient! Sal is very responsive and helpful in coordinating the move beforehand; his attention to the details and logistics helps the actual move go so smoothly. He answers emails and calls promptly, even the smallest of questions. Sal called the night before to touch base and let me know the foreman's name and what time to expect the movers, which I really appreciated. And as for the move itself? My first experience with Red Carpet a year ago was wonderful and flawless. I expected this time to be good as well, but I didn't think they could surpass the last move as this one was going to be complicated and a longer distance. This move was beyond my expectations - yes, even better than the first! Rigo, Miguel and Javier did a top notch, professional and careful job. We were moving my elderly father two hours away, with a number of heavy antiques and fragile items, in a torrential downpour! They arrived exactly on time and quickly and with great care, packed up all the items, including disassembling and reassembling a huge grandfather clock and a heavy marble-topped bureau. Once at the new destination, they had to use an elevator and go down a long hall to get all the pieces and boxes to my dad's new place (which is a retirement community, so they also had to be mindful of the residents, some of whom use walkers and canes). They set everything up exactly as we wanted it. Rigo, Miguel and Javier were also so kind (they could see that dealing with my dad was stressful for me at times and once Rigo even quietly said to me: "You are doing a great job." That was so helpful to hear). They were also patient and helpful with many requests to move the furniture and boxes around. I really liked them all, appreciated their careful work and was happy that they helped make a long and stressful day easier. I would HIGHLY recommend these movers. I had to move immediately. I received a job offer and needed to relocate back to the Bay Area. I called RCM on Friday for a Sunday move in. I am so grateful Sal squeeze me in because I didn't know what to do. I used them two months ago when I moved to Vacaville and they were so affordable. Sal was so very kind and helpful. The team arrived to my home at 8am. They pack up my 3bedroom home in 3 hours. I had so much stuff that needed to be packed up and I didn't have time. Plus I have an 11 month I was dealing with. I would give zero stars if possible. It took 6 hours or so to move a 600sq foot apartment and an additional two furniture pieces from my mothers house. I have nice furniture and I take care of it. I have a Pottery barn armoire/closet bought it for $2200. Beautiful and spotless. These people move the closet and make a huge crack on the side of the closet. When I called them a day later they wouldn't answer the phone. I called three days in a row about 3-5 times each time and nothing. I'm sure they avoided answering the phone as used a different number to call them and they answered finally. They said they have insurance and it is 0.60 cents per pound. I don't care about the insurance. I just want the huge crack fixed on my beautiful closet. My closet was very heavy they said 400lbs They had me fill out a paper and I emailed it back to them they said they'd call me within 48hours.. 72hrs went by and NOTHING. So I start calling them daily again and finally after 5 calls they answer. I tell the guy how hard it's been to get a hold of them and he said "yeah I saw you called 4 times""sorry about that." Ha A week later they sent me a check for 254$. What the heck does that money do for me if my closet is still ruined. It cost me 2000$! And you give me 250?! Avoid them at all cost. They tell you one price but then they add additional charges. IMAGINE HOW MUCH IT WOULVE BEEN IF I WAS MOVING OUT OF A HOUSE! My closet is now worthless because the crack is huge. The name says it all! Exceptional service. You can trust your belongings to be well taken care of. They will drape red carpets on your hardwood floors as soon as they start the job. Have a staircase? It will be covered in blankets to protect it. Have carpet? They will create walkways out of plastic runners to protect it from foot traffic. Tables, bookcases, furniture wrapped in plastic to protect it. Dishes delicately packed. We hired them to move us out of our 3600 sq ft house to a temporary 2100 sq ft home. Belongings that could not fit, they moved it to storage. I was worried that our 10x30 ft storage wasn't big enough. They did an excellent job packing boxes from the floor to the ceiling, making good use of space, They where so wonderful and flexible. We will be hiring them again in 6 months. Hire them. Phase II one month later move remainder of house content, along with content from Phase I in storage from CA to Florida. All of our custom wood furniture with glass arrived without a scratch!! Huge thank you to Fernando and the team for crating our one-of-a-kind furniture, odd, very heavy large sizes. They also did a superb job on packing our dinnerware, glassware, etc... Every single item arrived without a scratch. The same crew that packed us in California drove the entire house content to Florida and unpacked and reassembled the furniture. The Florida unpack was particularly difficult, started at 6am, in the hottest day of the year. Fernando powered through, the entire time with a great attitude of getting things done right. We had a few tricky assemblies. They made sure everything was in place to our satisfaction. Too bad they don't operate in Florida to help us in the next move. Unfortunately, over the past several years, I have worked with several moving companies as we have moved from SF to Piedmont to Walnut Creek in the last 4 years, with a lot of large construction projects in each home :) That being said, we just started another construction project here in our house in WC and hired these guys to help us move our furniture within and around our home. These guys are true professionals. From literally the first call to the end of the move, my experience was exceptional. I called a few movers and got some pretty absurd quotes for a job that I knew would only take an hour. One guy recommended that I have 4 guys here to move 2 couches... rly? But the team here made the right recommendation and sent 2 exceptional team members who were not even on time, but EARLY for the move. Our furniture is wrapped neatly in our storage and no dings on any doors or walls throughout the process.
