I've heard so many good things about this creamery and finally decided to stop by. It's located in such a cute little town, which makes the experience even better. I tried the fig ice cream and the caramel chocolate chip, and both were delicious. You can really tell the ice cream is homemade--the flavors were rich, fresh, and not overly sweet. The fig was unique and flavorful, while the caramel chocolate chip was the perfect classic choice. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you're in the area, and I'll absolutely be back to try more flavors.

Super generous servings and is well worth the price! It is also in the best area to walk around or sit and enjoy your ice cream with beautiful views. So many flavors as well as sweet, attentive workers.

Delicious and generous ice cream. I had the "one scoop" and couldn't finish it. We had the walnutella, black raspberry, and butter pecan flavors. All were well-received.

Cold Spring Ice Cream - Moo Over, Häagen-Dazs... Quick and friendly service with a great daily selection of flavors. The half scoop option is perfect for anyone looking for a smaller sweet treat after brunch or dinner. The ice cream here is spectacular and eating it on a bench while looking out at the water across the street is even better. Incredible ice cream awaits at the very end of Main Street in Cold Spring. Stroll to the end of the block and you'll spot a tunnel that runs beneath the train tracks walk through, and it brings you out by the water on the other side of Main Street. The shop sits on the right at Main and West. I can't wait to go back.

Had the nilla Wafer ice cream and black raspberry double scoop ice cream on a waffle cone. It was tasty and portions are big. Service was quick and friendly. The place was smaller than I imagined and it's right by the waterfront.

Just a short 5-minute walk from the Amtrak station, Moo Moo Creamery is the perfect way to kick off a visit to Cold Spring! We tried a few flavors and ended up choosing the vanilla chocolate - so creamy, rich, and delicious! You can tell everything is made with care. The vibe is friendly and relaxed, and the location couldn't be better. After grabbing our cones, we took a walk through the nearby park - ice cream in hand - and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. If you're in Cold Spring, this place is a must. Don't miss it!

This is the cutest shop! It's in a very scenic location! The shop was clean and the service was excellent. This was my first time visiting, and I will definitely be back. The shop has a "Today's Flavor" sign, highlighting the flavors available. There were flavors that I've never tried before. I loved the fact that they had traditional and exciting flavors to offer. I had the Caramel Chocolate Chip on a waffle sugar cone. THEE BEST!

    Coffee - so creamy.

A must try spot if you're ever in Cold Spring! They have daily flavors, they're super creamy and the works are very friendly. It helps they have an incredible view of the Hudson valley as well! I got the chocolate almond with Oreos - delicious.

Very good ice cream and a perfect spot to enjoy it.

Stopped by Moo Moo's, again, and enjoyed every moment. Not only is their ice cream good, but they are perfectly situated. After you purchase your delicious item, you could walk a few yards to the edge of the Hudson River and enjoy spectacular views of West Point Military Academy, across the river. Thank you, Moo Moo's, for your great products and for helping make a lot of people...enjoy a moment.

Another nice ice cream shop in Garrison. Always have long lines. You can walk the streets in town, window shop, eat, drink, but when it's time for dessert, head out to Moo Moos. Sit on the grass or bench, admire the Hudson River view and eat your ice cream. You won't be disappointed. Make it the final stop before you head home.

A bustling riverfront spot serving up generous scoops of ice cream -- you can always expect a line but it moves fast. I loved their seasonal pumpkin flavor ice cream, they're very generous with the hot fudge. A perfect pit stop before heading back to the train station!

Could be best ice cream in NY. Right on the water. Insanely creamy ice cream where you can tell every ingredient is top-notch, the real-deal that you can taste in every bite. What you'd get on a farm or somewhere in Europe, it's that good. The cherry vanilla is incredible, as is the cookie butter. Can't wait to try more. 5 stars!!!

Great location, ordinary ice cream. I've had ok flavors here but recently had a maple-something that clearly reeked and tasted of Log Cabin.

There's always something new to discover. While I was there planning to visit the Italian Art Gallery nearby, I came across Cold Spring Coffee House and saw that it had great reviews, so I figured it would be the perfect place to start my day. Getting there: If you're coming from NYC, the Metro-North is super convenient. The coffee house is an easy walk from the Cold Spring train station, which makes it a great stop when spending the day exploring the town. Inside, the coffee house isn't overly decorated, but it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. I wasn't a huge fan of how close together some of the tables were, but it was quiet enough to sit. They also have a few tables out front if you'd rather enjoy your coffee while taking in the charming street. But the real showstopper here is the pastry selection! With such a beautiful display of pastries, who needs extra decorations? There were so many tempting options that it was hard to choose, but I ultimately went with the Goat Cheese & Honey Danish and paired it with a medium coffee. Overall, I'm glad I added this stop to my Cold Spring adventure. I always enjoy spending time here, strolling through the town, popping into the different shops, and finding little spots like this along the way. It's a great place to grab a coffee and pastry before continuing to explore everything Cold Spring has to offer.

**Update after the owner's November 8, 2025 response:**…read more The owner's response to my review unfortunately reinforces the exact concern I raised about how criticism is handled. Rather than simply explaining the restroom policy, he accused us of "pretending not to know the rules," suggested we were being disrespectful, and dismissed my review as "noise." This also does not appear to be an isolated interaction. Anyone considering this business can read management's responses to other critical Google reviews and decide for themselves: * In a Google review shown as **10 months ago**, a guest criticized the room, parking, and use of disposable dishes. The owner responded that the guest should find somewhere "large enough to match your ego." * In another review shown as **10 months ago**, a customer criticized the food and paper plates. The owner's response included: "Sorry the food didn't meet your gourmet expectations lol." * In a review shown as **11 months ago**, a customer complained that the soup tasted sour. The owner's response was: "Sour soup? Or you have a sour mood." * In another review shown as **about a year ago**, someone complained that the owner was rude and disrespectful. The response told the reviewer and their group to "find another business to bother." * In another review shown as **about a year ago**, a hotel guest complained about excessive heat, noise, and an air-conditioning issue. The owner's response went beyond addressing those concerns and publicly discussed the guest's reservation being under a woman's name, questioned why that person did not arrive, called the guest "upset and miserable," and said the business would not want him back. Those are not my characterizations of private conversations. They are examples from the business's own publicly posted responses. My original review said that management's online responses appeared defensive, sarcastic, and dismissive. After receiving the owner's response to me and reading these other exchanges, I stand by that observation even more strongly. Prospective customers do not need to take my word for it. I encourage people to read the owner's responses to negative reviews themselves and decide whether that style of customer service is something they are comfortable with.
