This is my new favorite spot in Glendale. This review is long overdue, but this is an amazing hidden gem in Glendale. The food is seasoned well and reasonably priced. The service is excellent and very friendly. It feels as if you're being invited into someone's home for an authentic meal. The food always comes with generous, complimentary sides. You should try the flavorful tea which comes with little tea pastries. This is just a good, cozy, casual place to eat, relax and just enjoy conversation over tea or coffee. As tasty and succulent as Mediterranean food gets. In an area where there is no shortage of delicious kebabs, Moon Mart is my go-to place, especially for take-out. Bonus: they are open long after other kebab shops are closed, which was great for me when I used to get off work late. More people need to know about this place! read more

Called to ask a question about the ingredients. I have health issues so I really need to know. I Was yelled at cussed out on foreign language. Obviously the guy who works there doesn't speak English and not professional enough to work there. Your customer is calling to ask questions and you cuss him out on Turkish. Won't recommend this place. If they don't know how to treat customers. Would go there just to look at that dudes face who cussed me out. read more

We walked in and were greeted promptly, I was so cold that I guess I was obviously shivering so they walked over and asked me if I wanted the heater on, of course I said yes ;) They then brought over 3 amazing dips, my favorite was a potato, jalapeño, something.... maybe I got all the ingredients wrong. Anyways, my husband got the chicken kabob plate and since he was told it only came with one skewer he ordered two, bad idea he couldn't finish. I couldn't finish my regular plate either. Very well served and amazing fries, beef, chicken, service, and everything Is good! I asked for limes and they were so awesome they brought a whole lime and a half, and people are always so cheap either limes and only give you tiny little wedges but not this place! Appetizers to have for sure are yogurt and shallots, the bean dish, salad olvieh and mirzaghassemi. Yumm!! Main course had the traditional kabob koobideh, barg, and the two types of chicken and it was mouthwatering. Kabob barg melts in your mouth. I called to place an order and the owner told asked "just one plate?" In a snarky tone over the phone. When I came in to pick up my food he kept trying to push me to buy a coke and I politely declined but he continued to say "come on just get a coke man" anyway, I didn't end up getting a coke. When I looked at the receipt, he charged me $17 for the luleh kebab plate when the menu in the restaurant and on postmates said $10. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have no idea how come I never came across this place in all my Yelp searches in the area over the last 4 years, but I'm sure glad i finally did! The folks are really nice and the food is great! And the prices are really very good. One of the more flavorful koobideh/luleh kabobs in town. Good chicken sheesh as well. The sandwiches (wraps) are simple but delicious. Everything is freshly made, and tastes that way. The service isn't particularly fast, but more than speedy enough given the freshness. I've been here twice in one week now, and have been talking this place up to all my friends and coworkers. I plan to come here regularly; hopefully they will keep meeting and exceeding my expectations :-) read more

The only issue I had was instead of the chicken breast kabob, they gave me the chicken lule and didn't find out until I went home and opened our order. For my entree, I ordered the chicken soltani which consisted of chicken breast and chicken luleh. Both were tender and moist. Yum yum yum! Each entree comes with rice and a grilled tomato. By the end of the meal, everyone was left happy and satisfied. The best part of this experience was the service. The workers were SO kind and you can tell they cared about providing the highest quality of service. Please support this family owned business!
