This is a 5 star review for Johnny & his planting crew. Johnny was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and very professional. He answered all our questions and took a lot of care in making sure we were happy with the end result. We had 3 queen palms, 3 fan palms, 4 pigmy palms, and 12 bushes planted by Johnny's crew. They were very quick and careful handling all our new plants and placing them in the perfect position we hoped for. I will be requesting Johnny & his crew for any future projects and recommending him to others. If you're getting trees from Moon Valley, I suggest you request Johnny to be your planter, you'll be very happy! I went to Moon Valley to look for a tree and end up meeting Joshua Gordon. We walked through the property and he showed me some trees that would best fit my needs. He followed up with a phone call to finalize the process. He came to my house and flagged the area for the placement of the new tree. Joshua was instrumental and setting up the utility companies to come out and inspect the area for planting, coordinated other departments of MV for old tree removal, stump grindings and the planting of the new tree. I also received phone calls from Tammy Bridges, setting up appointments and times, also included follow up calls from Chad. Everyone that I worked with was professional, personable and efficient. This was a great experience at Moon Valley Nursery! I have used them on several occasions. the first time was to collect data on growing fruit trees. We just moved here from the Pacific Northwest and we purchased a home with fruit trees. Our's were on the young side and I needed watering instructions. Luigi, a member of the team had given me perfect advice. The next season I followed his instructions and my trees flourished. Since then we've decided to start a Shipping Container Hot Dog restaurant. We searched for a landscaper that could do the project for a good price. I had no idea they actually did that as well! They haven't completed that job yet but we're excited for the work to be done. We went back a 3rd time and purchased some plants for our home. They did an amazing job on the installation. That's why we're excited about the landscaping of our new business. When I went in to have them landscape our backyard Bryce, was a wealth of knowledge about what would work for our backyard. We recently took advantage Moon Valley's Fall sale and selected a Beautiful Raywood Ash tree. Peter, Our Salesman did an absolutely fabulous job of showing us many different trees and answering all of our questions, and pointing out the different advantages and disadvantages on a wide variety of trees on their lot. We had to have a Stump Grind to remove the old tree we were replacing, which went very well, and Johnny and the installation crew were all extremely nice, polite and knowledgeable. They arrived on time and ready to go to work. Our new Tree which was very large, was planted perfectly and professionally, and we have had nothing but great compliments on our new tree. 10+ stars for Moon Valley Nurseries! I just moved into a house with A HUGE yard full of, well, nothing. Enormous dirt lot, like a blank canvas waiting for a painter. A friend told me she knew someone who works at Moon Valley so I decided to give them a go. Holy cheese on a cracker, they blew me away! I spoke with Sophia, at the Peoria location (I believe) and since I wasn't looking for a road trip she sent me to the location on Arizona Ave and Germann Rd. Sophia gave me Carlie's name (I hope I spelled that correctly) and from the moment we met her we were impressed. Carlie interacted with my 5 year old son with ease, including him in the experience. Carlie was knowledgeable, friendly, gave advice freely and even took us on a ride in one of the carts when my son complained about "all the walking." She helped me pick out the best trees for my project, she took the time to answer my (many) questions, and she made me feel like my time was valued, even when other MVN employees needed her help. When the purchase was completed, she happily offered us a ride back to my vehicle and said to call her if we needed anything else. Thank you Carlie for a wonderful experience. By the way, the nursery itself is beautiful. The selection of plants is immense, with rows upon rows to get lost in and options for decorations like pots and beaten metal figures (I really liked the frogs). When delivery day came, Brian, Trevor, and their crew were outstanding. They arrived on time, they greeted me with smiles and immediately went over the plan for planting my trees. I had a large dead pine tree removed and Trevor said if there were roots in the way he would let me know and we could adjust the location of the tree easily. Brian and Trevor knew their stuff, that's for sure. They answered all my questions, were friendly and efficient, and were genuinely interested in my satisfaction. The crew had both trees planted in less time than it took me to finish my coffee! Oh, and that pine tree I mentioned? Not a problem! You can see in the pictures the stump is perfectly situated for a bird bath to compliment my new, gorgeous Arizona Ash! This was the best experience I've ever had with a nursery, the staff went above and beyond from start to finish. I have 5 large trees that I purchased from moon nursery. I have to admit ( I can be difficult) but a reputable company always responds and takes care of business. ( Phil Forrest) I was a little skeptical About spending that kind of money on tree trimming ( I already spent a small fortune on the trees . But Phil set me up with moon's arborist ( Sheldon) I'm no skeptic anymore. Sheldon did a awesome job. It's not what I originally had pictured in my mind. We went in to speak with someone about our trees that did not do well over the summer. Luigi approached us upon our entrance, and I must say we are extremely happy we were assisted by him. He was very knowledgeable of his plants, and trees! He took the time to educate us, and explain to us how to care for them throughout the year. No one had done this when we initially bought our plants. He explained we should have bought more mature trees vs. what we had first bought. It would have been a better value for our money. If you go into moon nursery, ask for Luigi! He will take carei of your landscaping needs with professionalism. Horrible customer service and repeated issues. Purchased over $5,000 of plants in November. It is March and still dealing with issues and an incomplete order. When I went to pick out trees there were none to choose from and our sales lady was trying to push less than satisfactory looking trees on me. Very disappointing. Then when I had the trees delivered the crew left their trash all over the hard and did not space the trees properly. They also shorted us one tree and said someone would follow up. No one ever did. I had to call and complain and was assured they took my issues seriously. Yet here we are in March and they just came out to redlines 8 trees yet only four were on the truck. Still don't have a complete order and no one seems to really care. Our original sales girl is MIA. Also guy who planed the second time said that the instructions the first planting team gave us on water were all wrong. Such a disaster of an experience. read more

Everyone at the Chandler location is so friendly and helpful. Yesterday we had 2 trees replaced and Johnny was the "tree guy" that talked to us. He was very knowledgeable about the replacement trees and the other ones I had gotten at MV prior. He gave us tips on how to keep the trees healthy. The whole team was quick, I was surprised they were done in such a short time. We had a drip system and brick border around the trees and they put them back better than they were originally!
