We opted for the fried fish. I got the SWAI, a type of white fish and my sister ordered the Cod. She absolutely loved it and that's saying a lot since she isn't a huge Seafood/fish lover. Mine was good. Loved the light batter. I also got the pea salad, beets, cabbage, Fried tatters, and a side of the chicken spaghetti to go. Pea salad was delicious as usual and of course I just loved the beets. The cabbage was seasoned with the right amount of bacon. The taters were ok, but of course I tried some of the chicken spaghetti and it was to die for...one of my favorites. My sis had mashed potatoes and white cream gravy and lived it. The food was excellent during my very recent trip. The "sad salads" referred to by someone else - during my visit were quite fresh and inviting. I ate one of my all time faves - carrot raisin which was both fresh and delish! I purchased Almondine fish as an entree and got mac n cheese and fried okra for sides and shared a piece of Chess Pie with my wife for dessert. I also had a piece of Mexican cornbread. My wife ate beef liver (hold the onions) and green beans and Mac n cheese with a roll. My son got a kids plate of chicken fingers and sweet potato casserole with Mac n cheese.
