    Faroe Islands Salmon
    DeeDee H.

Solid dining experience. Nice atmosphere, nice servers, good food. The beet appetizer was good as was the peppadew peppers (had a nice kick). The salmon was very good, crispy skin and so tender. The others had nice burger with thick crispy bacon in a brioche roll. Great place to share a meal with great company.

So yummy. Glad my sister suggested we come here. I had the gluten-free flatbread with mushrooms and gruyère cheese, she had the salmon and we split the mixed salad with grapes and blue cheese. Will definitely come back soon to taste the other dishes. The decor is very sophisticated and the service was also top notch.

The variety of food was vast and the quality of the service is professional. The lighting in the restaurant is very nice with a nice atmosphere. It's definitely worth repeat visits.

Mushroom risotto. Simply delicious. Add Chamry Belgium beer and it's a fantastic combo. All thanks to Jeff for the recommendation

The mushroom risotto and Belgium Chamy beer was a phenomenal recommendation from Jeff the bartender His knowledge was definitely appreciated. I highly also recommend the Cajun wings, zestfully done

faroe islands salmon with sweet potato-chorizo hash, edamame, poblano crema, tomato, avocado
    Clare D.

The Faroe Islands salmon with sweet potato-chorizo hash, edamame, poblano crema, tomato, avocado was good and I like the idea behind it, but I don't think the mix of vegetables worked. The blackened salmon was nicely prepared, so if they just omitted the sweet potato and guacamole, it would've been fine. (To be quite honest, since this place seems to like to combine Chinese and Japanese flavors, just prepare the salmon with baby bok choy and edamame.) The spring rolls filled with chicken and noodles were a little odd. It was almost like puréed chicken in them. They were sort of going for a Vietnamese flair, I think. Overall, Moonstones was good, but not as great as I had hoped.

    Party of 16 easily accommodated.

Moonstone's is one of my favorite restaurants north of Boston. It has a cool vibe, the staff is top shelf and the food is outstanding. I have taken or sent many friends/clients there. They have accommodated us for parties of 2, 4, 5 and 16. Everyone always happy with their food. Thanks Scott for your level of excellence!

CAPRESE SALAD, finally arrived after 50 minute wait....

The food at this restaurant is incredible. Beautiful atmosphere, outdoor seating and creative menu. The service was poor due to lack of servers. We ordered 2 appetizers, waited 50 minutes for a salad, reminded them about our fries after an hour... I was frustrated because I saw other tables receiving much better service. Our order was forgotten a few times.

In the sleepy town of Chelmsford there aren't too many 5 star restaurants. This one almost hits the mark though. They label themselves as a raw bar and serve primarily seafood. I came for lunch and decided to try the tuna poke. $18 for lunch in my opinion is over the top!! The dish although done well and quite tasty was small in size for that price point. I will give them high praise for fish selection. This was fresh, not fatty and had good flavor. All the ingredients were very fresh. I enjoyed every last bite. I decided to try a little desert. I don't usually get desert after lunch but after the meal I wasn't quite satisfied. They were able to serve me a bite size chocolate cheesecake slice with cherries on top. This hit the spot! I didn't want much just something sweet. Loved every last bite! The wait staff was quick, they all helped each other out but not one of them cracked a smile. A bit strange.....

Had an awesome hangover brunch following my 20 yr high school reunion. After a night of some heavy imbibing I needed mimosa's and delicious food. This place delivered. We walked in and I'm not usually under dressed, but again, the hangover. It definitely a nicer place, so don't walk in with leggings and patriots hat like I did. They asked if we had a reservation, nope. Thankfully there were seats at the bar. The bartender looked like he was straight out of Asheville, not Chelmsford. But he was so nice and got our drinks right away. I'm not a bloody mary fan, but their bloody mary bar was amazing. They had a small mimosa bar, so i topped mine off with some fruit and wished away my headache. We ordered the nutella french toast and also ordered the farmhouse bowl to share. It was the perfect combo of savory and sweet. Also i saw they had a pisco sour on the menu and it was divine. They handshake them, which I was surprised to see. Some places will use a blender to make it easier. It was a great experience and hope to visit again when I'm back in town.

This place was fine but definitely more of a local hangout than a nice restaurant. The food was just okay.

Being both hangry we had to try it. Hands down the best appetizer which included chips and a flight of dips, dinner was a steak cooked absolutely perfectly. I had my first drink in a very long time which was a cotton candy martini which was absolutely delish. In for dessert The coup de gras was creme brulee. Our drinks and food were brought out right away as well as our check at the end. We ordered: 1.) Crispy Brussel Sprouts - 3 stars because ours were almost burnt which gave the brussel sprouts a too charred taste despite the sweet sauce doused on top 2.) Stir Dip Trio - 4 stars - This trio consisted of the spinach dip, buffalo rangoon dip, and street corn dip and was served with fried wonton chips. The chips were the star of the show, very crunchy, just right salty and the perfect pairing for any of the dips. The dips were pretty good. Our favorite was the spinach, then corn then buffalo in that order. To be honest, we came here mostly to try the drinks. The drinks were fantastic as we knew they would be. The food here is mostly American and to be honest, it is pretty basic. We could tell from looking at the menu and then the pictures on Yelp that the food wasn't geared towards our lunch or dinner cravings. But, if you go for drinks and appetizers, Stir is absolutely perfect. In fact, we plan to come back hopefully soon to try out their winter drink and appetizer menu!

I like to give 5 stars where I can but I do have to agree with 1 of the most common complaints in these reviews: No frozen drinks. I've been to where Tiki drinks started and deciding on or around May 2024 to no longer offer frozen drinks at a "tiki" bar is insane. Either take the label off or buy a blender. Two options costing this establishment just $20 while saving it years of embarrassment and 1 star Yelp reviews. Other than that I had a great time. Nachos were fine, and the salsa was kind of fun, very thick, very dippable. Maybe extra tomato paste? Though it was certainly New England mild.
