We just had an experience where all of the hard-wired fire alarms went off at once on a Saturday night. Calling the 24/7 monitoring center didn't help, as they couldn't turn it off remotely. They said a technician specialist would call me to assist. No one ever called. So much for 24/7! After thirty minutes of deafening noise and zero help from two different service reps, the third finally suggested pulling all of the wires out of the panel and the backup batteries. That's what I did... but how is that a solution? So that's that. The equipment failed, they couldn't handle it remotely, their app is pretty crappy.... so I've canceled the service. Will try someone else. read more

I strongly, strongly recommend against using moore protection. I love the pictures presented by the owner but mine represent the quality of the installation and the standard analog equipment used by Moore. In addition, he will charge you 3x his competitor's quote who will install modern touch screen system. When you complain at getting jacked, you will get no response. So you refuse to pay and he will sue you for the full amount of the contract. In summary, if you want an outdated system at a cost of 3x his competitor and get sued after being taken advantage, then Moore Protection is your guy. We lost the suit and paid for a system we had to replace with ADT. Go anywhere else! read more

These are people that live and breathe personal and electronic protection, they don't sell you a $100 system and pass you off to someone in another city (or country for that matter). The system installed in a very large private home has never worked properly and Moore Protection seems uninterested in actually fixing the problem. He ripped me off and then actually sued me to try and squeeze every penny out of me he could. I am not even their customer and Don Moore personally got on a call with me to help troubleshoot an alarm problem. He was super nice. I don't actually use the alarm much, and the thing was beeping. Don "facetimed" with me and we found my alarm box and he showed me how to stop the beeping. He said the battery needed changing. What a nice guy. read more

We just built a house and Don was there at the beginning to come and make security suggestions and always responsive at different points of the installation.
