In all my years renting here, I've never seen or heard of anything suspicious or concerning. You can truly have peace of mind knowing your belongings are secure. 2 Cleanliness: Lili and the crew take great pride in maintaining the property. The facility is always spotless -- which is very important when storing valuable items. 3 Professional Staff: Lili and her team are always polite, professional, and genuinely friendly. They go out of their way to help and it's clear they appreciate every customer's business. Overall, ACE Self Storage is an excellent storage facility that checks every box -- safe, clean, and professionally managed. If you need extra storage space in Simi Valley, trust me, go to ACE Storage. You will not be disappointed! I also want to take a moment to personally thank Lili and her team for providing such a positive experience over the many years I've rented at ACE Self Storage. Lili is always friendly, attentive, and truly a pleasure to work with -- which made doing business here very enjoyable. Thank you again to the entire ACE Self Storage team!

Clean property with solid security measures in place is a good place to start. Dear Hubby and I…read moreacquired his mother's stuff / my mother's stuff, his stuff and my stuff before we ever got together, etc., etc. Though we've worked at downsizing, we haven't been as successful at it as we ought to be. Having Ace Self Storage as an option has helped us tremendously. We recently needed a temporary additional space after a water leak situation. The staff member who took care of us getting signed up for a new unit did a great job of explaining options and giving us the tour. Even though we know the property, the new space was in a different building and he took us there personally. They offer a move-in discount, which is makes for a fair value. Our goal is to reduce the need for extra storage entirely, but this may not happen while I'm still working full time.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Never ever use Public Storage here or anywhere else. Their MANAGEMENT and…read moreCUSTOMER SERVICE is absolutely appalling!!! I never used the unit and was still charged for arbitrary administrative costs. Considering I did all the paperwork myself and had to file a report with the police 10 minutes after arriving on site, Public Storage REFUSED to work with me. They acknowledged the issues and that I never even used the unit, but stubbornly stated that a $29 Administrative Fee was non-refundable regardless of the circumstances and despite having to file an incident report with the police. Even after voicing my concerns to the District Manager and having (3) separate conversations with Customer Service, Public Storage stated that it was pretty much impossible. However the last rep stated they "would consider" and follow up, which never did. One of the worst aspects was I had the Public Storage District Manager send me a LinkedIn Request less than 30 minutes after voicing my concerns to him (we had previously worked together professionally) and Public Storage delegated the $29 bill to a collection agency in less than 45 days despite never physically mailing me a bill. I had received a SPAM text message and a SPAM email the same day I had last spoken to a Public Storage customer service rep, who stated it would be reviewed. There was NEVER a physical bill from Public Storage mailed to me. I literally just went on a European vacation and received several text messages and email messages from a collection agency requesting the $29 for the Administrative Fee. A mailed letter arrived just before leaving for our trip and in the middle of the vacation I received a warning email. The collection agency spent more money and effort regarding the administrative fee than Public Storage did despite voicing my concerns & issues immediately. It's deeply disgusting that a company cares to ruin their reputation for $29 as I'm grieving son that attempted to rent a storage unit to store my deceased parents things. The fact they sold the debt or subcontracted it less than 60 days seems like a clear violation of The Debt Collection Licensing Act. I may need to consider reaching out to the California Consumer Financial Protection Law (CCFPL). PUBLIC STORAGE you are an absolute embarrassment and non-professional. I'm beyond at a loss for words and it makes perfect sense why this location is not Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accredited. There are plenty of other places to spend money elsewhere

Kevin as the location manager cares about the facility and taking care of customers and so the company and location and its customers are very fortunate to have someone who cares and has excellent customer service, I've had several nice conversations with him. I also had the fortune of having a conversation with Vance from another location and helping out Camarillo wirh its staffing needs, he was very nice and very helpful with information and so on . I have visited my unit many times and never had a problem. Thank you to management for keeping a clean and safe place..

The management of this place is absolutely terrible and unhelpful when issues arise. Don't trust…read moreanyone here or from the company even a little bit. Initially, everything seemed great. The security was decent, there was plenty of space, and the temperature was controlled to a comfortable level. It was worth the slight premium. It was a bit annoying that access wasn't 24/7 considering how much we paid, but I could overlook that. Then, prices started increasing every few months. I understand that the entire industry does this, but it seemed excessive. Then, they began construction on the second floor. The noise, dust, and inconvenience were bothersome, and there was no compensation. Thankfully, I wasn't forced to move on my own dime like others. One day, I came to start unpacking and noticed a section of our belongings that had water damage. Initially, I thought it was caused by a leaking pipe, but upon closer inspection, water was flowing down from the second floor, rolling along the I beams and dripping onto our stuff for who knows how long and how much. It seems to be the same issue as this review: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ShTjDuewUGoj2wad9?g_st=ic. All attempts to resolve the issue ended with the company stating that since I didn't use their insurance, they couldn't offer any compensation, replacement, or rental refund. This seems unreasonable and goes beyond the terms of the contract that absolves them from liability. Either the roof, second floor, or both were not properly constructed, allowing water to flow along the I beams. You can see rusted water drop marks on multiple I beams. These beams are completely exposed and there's nothing installed to protect the storage units from water or debris from the second floor. Since they were aware of the issue from the review I mentioned earlier and didn't take any action, it appears to be gross negligence. I also highly doubt that they would even consider addressing the real issue and refunding partial rent if we had their insurance. Regardless of whether we have insurance or not, the website guaranteed dryness and a storage satisfaction guarantee. If you decide to stay here, make it a short stay, cover your belongings completely, and request a different unit if you have any beams or pipes above your unit. And pray that nothing else goes wrong.
