Primarily due to the fact that I normally pick up fresh eggs from my bestie in Derry, I ended up searching for a contingency plan in the event she was already sold out on her end. Such was the case today. First, a caveat: if you're happening by this store southbound, the parking lot entrance will be the second turn on the right just past the store itself. It can be a little confusing due to the second logo sign on the side of the warehouse building which, to newcomers, may appear to be an entrance point. I have no idea if and what they keep back there (probably just extended storage), but from what I could ascertain, the main store is the smaller building in the center of it all. Naturally, the interior is (like I said) small and pretty unassuming, if I'm being entirely accurate. What you see is what you get and this is a good thing. Because everything looked pretty fresh and tasty to me. I possess neither the space nor memory to recall every last item they have here. But in addition to extra large fresh eggs, they also feature baked goods (to include my all time favorite - FUDGE!!) and real maple syrup. That's right! None of that synthetic, overly sugary crap for us true New Englanders. This, and other grocery stores like it, are the places we go when we want true, authentic maple syrup. So anyways, I was here for the eggs. Now, I may be writing this review prematurely since I haven't exactly tasted the eggs yet. But from what I can tell, this place is legit. They even have Apple and Google pay, which actually surprised me. The Yelp page didn't list this as a viable option at the time of writing this review. I will certainly be submitting an update recommendation to the powers that be. The staff were quite friendly and approachable. Didn't really stay long to chat or anything though. Those were just my first impressions. The location is tucked away, but easy to get to. It also appears they have quite the local following. So, I definitely will return. At some point, I'd really like to get my hands on that peanut butter fudge and genuine maple syrup. Can't really recommend this place any harder for picking up fresh produce and treats. Sunnycrest Farms is worthy of 5 extra large farm fresh eggs served any style out of 5.

My grandparents Robert & Barbara Evans originally owned and operated the farm for 25+ yrs, offering lessons, boarding, summer camps, horse shows and training which I was beyond lucky to have grown up there and rode until they sold the farm to retire when I was about 14. I still miss it and all the unbelievable memories. The current owners have welcomed me to come visit the farm anytime I'd like to. And i can not thank them enough for that opportunity.

Wendy was very kind and friendly: she greeted us, showed us around, talked about the alpacas, and her family's story. She also showed me how to pet the alpacas and she let us carry chickens, too. Afterwards, we met her mother, Pam, who helped get us the farm raised eggs ($3 dollars a dozen?) and chatted with us in their gift store. So, on a weekend, we decided to take a ride and go check it out. It is an indoor farm stand open year round that carries all kinds of vegetables. They also have baked goods and....chicken pies, among other items. So...we decided to try a Chicken Pie. The price was $ 24.99 although we had to ask as the pies were not individually priced and there was no sign to tell you either. The result is the pie has chunks of dark and light chicken with literally no sauce. It was extremely expensive, and don't get me wrong I don't mind paying when something is really delicious. But this pie was far, far from that. I also thought the vegetables they sell were very expensive as well. Not a place I would return to.
