Very tight space to get a 34ft trailer and a long bed truck to park thru. There were canoes on the side free to use for guests. Also life jackets for adult and kids. Kids spent the morning fishing behind our trailer by the fire pits. Picnic tables also for every spot. A cute little hang out area near the canoe. Games in the room by the office and also bathroom/showers available. There wasn't much space for kids to ride there bikes. Was a great stay still.

We arrived in the evening, around 6pm. The signs were not clear on where to check in (or not check…read morein at all in this case) and no one was there to speak to. We finally found where we were supposed to be and decided to just pull in and get set up for the night. The camp sites were VERY short, we were barely able to fit our unit in, which was not what the website stated. There were also lots of trees hanging down and overgrown that made it difficult to get in. All of the other units in the camp ground were covered in spider webs and overgrown weeds/grasses. Clearly many people had not moved their units in a long time and several probably had not had people inside them in a long time either. Overall it was not a very comfortable place to be. I would not have felt comfortable staying there as a female alone. The lake is right across the street but it was buggy, hot, humid, and smelled like sewage. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone to stay, nor would I stay there again myself. Luckily we were only passing through for the night and only there maybe a total of 12 hours, but that was even too long.

The park itself is beautiful peaceful lake views, well-kept grounds, and such a calm, relaxing vibe. Everything was clean and easy! Full hookups worked perfectly and the whole place felt safe and cared for. We loved taking morning walks with our dog around the property and just soaking in how quiet and serene and perfect for unwinding together. But what truly made this stay special was the management. She is hands-down one of the nicest, most attentive people we've ever encountered at any RV park. Friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of what she runs, and it shows. She made us feel like guests, not just another reservation. If you're traveling as a couple, with pets, or just want a stress-free, relaxing lakeside stay, this place is a gem. The customer service here is not great. The people are nice enough, but the people working the front desk do not seem to know the answers to even basic questions. Even though the place was completely empty, they charge for an early check in. Our reservation was not correct, and they put us in a regular double room instead of the suite we asked for. Had to return to the lodge and get all new keys and room after unloading and reloading the car. We also paid for a late checkout, and we still got locked out of our room and no one responded to our call. We had to go down to the lobby, which isn't easy here, after being promised someone was on their way. Getting anything takes forever or no one knows the answer. We stayed Saturday to Monday. Unfortunately, the onsite food service and bars close at 3pm on Sundays even though that was our full day there. The tiki bar was hardly open to get drinks by the pool. Essentially the only thing to actually do here is swim in the pool, get a massage, or use the gym. No kayak rentals, no mini-golf course, no pontoon cruises, etc despite all of this being advertised on the website. It was mostly empty and felt very abandoned in most parts of the property. The highlights: the pool is nice and people were very friendly. The bartender was awesome and went above and beyond to do what she could. The actual suite was nice, but not worth the price based on the other amenities being unavailable. The massage therapist was amazing! If the owners put any effort into this place, it could be great. The lake and scenery are amazing. In its current state, we wouldn't return.

The RV slots are placed kind of roughly, but the services (elec., water) are pretty new and in good shape. No internet, if that is an issue, but I was able to use my cell as a hot-spot, so got what we needed. As we got in later than we'd expected, and there is no 'office' per se, I was lucky enough to meet a gal who steered me to trailer #1, where the on-site manager lived. He took some talking to to figure out what was going on, but he got us fixed up...cash only, no cards or checks....bargain cost. My wife and I made reservations through Expedia with Traveler's Inn for Tue, Jul 28 to Wed, Jul 29, (Itinerary # 73463144264880). We were planning to stay there on our way to Santa Barbara, CA where I was to perform some music at a friend's wedding, but then I just received the bad news that I will be needing to start radiation therapy for prostate cancer in July. The treatment involves 8 weeks of radiation sessions, 5 days per week, and must be uninterrupted. At a time when anxiety and stress are elevated I have to deal with spending $93.00 for a hotel stay that I can't use! Cancelling seven weeks in advance didn't seem matter to Traveler's Inn! How horrible is it that a business can be so cold and uninterested in an individual's specific circumstances, and does not offer a refund. I could understand it, and it would be justifiable, if the cancellation came within 1 week of the reserved date, because it might be difficult to fill that room in such a short time. But 7 weeks in advance!?!?!? I am so shocked by such a policy. I'm sorry to vent so much anger and frustration like this, but I am overwhelmed by the user-unfriendliness of this policy.

The hotel itself has been fully renovated, and it really shows. You can tell the ownership genuinely cares about both the property and their guests. Everything feels clean, updated, and well maintained. Amenities are excellent for a stopover or short stay. There's a swimming pool, a grill for cooking, and even a small gym. Parking is plentiful, and most of the time you can park right outside your room, which is great if you're traveling with a car full of belongings or just want peace of mind. In the morning, they offer a basic continental breakfast with hard-boiled eggs, cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, muffins, danishes, and yogurt. There's no indoor dining area, but you can easily take it back to your room or enjoy it by the pool. The rooms are well stocked with soap, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, and a shower cap, and I really appreciated the extra space heater in addition to the standard AC/heater wall unit--such a thoughtful touch. The internet is free and good signal. Pro tip: Book directly through the hotel's website. It's cheaper than Booking.com or Hotels.com (I saved $8), and the price difference more than makes up for any points you might earn elsewhere. It's also cheaper than walking in to book, and they do fill up quickly--when we checked in, only a couple of rooms were left. I've been very happy with both of my stays and will absolutely continue stopping here on future trips. Highly recommended!
