This is clearly the source for craft beer, either to buy and take home or enjoy a glass on premises, even with a few tables outside. While I wasn't able to stay to have something on tap, there were plenty of people there after 5pm on a Monday. With at least four doors of cooler space dedicated to craft beer, the floor was divided up between beer and wine. Specifically on selection, you can be sure to find options from around Ohio and brands with more national distribution. I saw a variety of Mad Tree (Columbus) cans, a few 750 mL bottles from Rockmill Brewery (Lancaster) and since it was summer I got a six-pack of Revolution's (Chicago) rosa hibiscus ale. The Beverage Source doesn't look like much on the outside, but the convenient location off highway 16 makes this an obvious option if you are in the area, be it for a night or simply passing through.

They had a great inventory of wine, liquor, beer, etc. and had exactly what we needed, prosecco, schnapps, vodka and fruit puree. I'll also add that despite how busy they were, the staff was great. They helped us find what we were looking for while we wandering around aimlessly trying to find the goods. Prices were right on money, too. They charge a fee if you use a card: their prices are the same as other stores who do not charge a fee to use a card. Anyways, I used a debit card and found out, after, I was charged a fee. They did offer to refund my charge and I could pay with cash but I did not have enough cash on me. In my experience, this is the ONLY store I have EVER been charged a fee for using a debit card or credit card. It just feels greedy.

The decor is absolutely lovely, especially the chandeliers and wall coverings. The tables had white linens and the booths were very comfortable, elegant and not old looking. The hostess who seated us had worked there for 21 years. She was very professional and proud of the restaurant. Our server, Terrence, was very pleasant and efficient and made us feel welcome. I ordered the lamb burger and fries. The burger was moist and delicious, the fries yummy. Everyone at our table enjoyed their lunch. Went in to buy some Beck's on June 26 around 4 pm. The attendant had told me that all they had was…read morebeing returned. I had asked to go out into the drive-through in order to have a look around. Unlike a previous attendant from a week earlier she did not appear pleased about this but did not stop me. I found 5 packages of Beck's; however, I was not allowed to have any of it since it was being returned. (Maybe I could have bought it all on a discount if it had been offered?) I was displeased with this but she was doing her job. So, no shade on her. My main concern with Lex is that when you drive in to the drive-thru you cannot really see what they are offering. There are racks of snacks in front of the coolers; and these coolers appear to have no light within them so you can see what is being offered. A driver has no real line of vision to see what is being offered on the right-hand side and the left-side is, as I just mentioned, covered with racks of snacks and the cooler lights are not on. Therefore, how can a customer actually tell what is being offered unless they get out of their car and look around, which is kind-of frowned on. Management needs to light-up those coolers and create a clearer view of their offerings. Otherwise, it is a good quick place to stop for spirits, which is amply displayed inside.
