We had a leak on the inside of the our house from a patio sliding door with stucco exterior wall. We were fortunate to come across Morales Plastering. Mr. Alejandro Morales came to give us a free estimate of the work. He was professional and was able to identify that the leak was because the sliding door was "Retrofit" type and not "New Construction" type and the flashing was not properly installed. He also correctly pointed out that the leak was coming from the stucco wall above the door and not the caulking at the door frame. Upon getting the job, he and his crew removed the stucco wall around the door and showed us that the water was coming from above. Mr. Alejandro himself re-installed the flashing and water-proofing membranes and paper, so not water would get inside (this was the cheaper option compared to re-doing the entire wall up to the roof of the two story house). His work was perfect. He matched the stucco paint perfectly. He cleaned up properly after the job. He was courteous and maintained a good and positive attitude. Cesar, his office person was always available by phone and we were able to communicate with him on a constant basis. I will definitely use him next time for any such issues and highly recommend him. read more

I chose Morales Plastering for custom work, a little out of the ordinary project to repair and weatherproof my stucco wall on the west exposure of my 1200 sq ft home. Tesla had just installed rooftop solar panels and on the wall installed 2 Powerwall 3 batteries, Gateway, and assorted required equipment boxes. It looked splendid. First rainstorm with westerly winds, the inside of my garage (the west wall) had tar paper soaked in several spots. Traced the water leaks to fine cracks in the stucco not present before Tesla install. Mr. Morales evaluated the wall and suggested a complicated repair to ensure wall integrity, strength, and weatherproofing, including extra protection for the Tesla elements. The work was completed in a timely manner, the crew was courteous, professional, and kept the site in good order. At conclusion, I was impressed at their skill in matching texture and color with the stucco, and their craftsmanship in replacing the garage side door and installing flashing around the Tesla gear. There were a few technical embellishments included to bring the wall to current code. I'm happy with their work, and I'd call on them again in the future. read more

My stucco was in bad shape due to original workmanship issues and I got several estimates and the estimate from Alejandro is the most reasonable. And I also trust Morales Plastering Construction based on good reviews they got. The minute they worked on installing the drip-edge over the window I knew I am in good hands. Even my detail-oriented next door neighbor was very impressed on how they installed the drip edges over the windows and plastering over a brick fireplace. The whole stucco team was very professional and cleaned up thoroughly every day before they left. The whole process was finished earlier than I expected at this time of the year when construction business is extremely busy and I am very pleased with the final results and already got some good comments from my neighbors. Would recommend without hesitation. We needed some water leaks into the house to be investigated and fixed along with the removal and disposal of a pergola bolted to our house wall between two windows. Alejandro came and discussed the scope of the project and gave us an estimate which we accepted. Old stucco framing our windows was removed, waterproofing and flashing was applied and new stucco added to finish. He and his crew finished the job quickly (in a day and a half) and efficiently. We hired Alejandro and his team to fix some uneven stucco on the back of our house. He came over and gave us reasonable price and had his team come over and do the job and finished it in just 2 days. His team worked really hard, were super friendly and most of all high quality work.
