TERRIBLE!! I first came here on 4/8/21 for a veneer consultation. The receptionist had me fill out paperwork and do a ridiculous "interview" to then tell me I needed to come back with x-rays if I wanted the veneer consultation to be free. So the very first time I came into this office, they wasted 30-45 minutes of my time. I told the receptionist I would reschedule and come back with the x-rays. Well that appointment was today and I had a much worst experience the second time around. I arrive at the appointment on time. They tell me since I did not put a card on file, my appointment is a walk-in and not an actual appointment. They wanted me to put a card on file to hold my appointment time. Never heard of this before. Then I sit in this very tiny, cramped office with the lady to my right eating KFC chicken. She has her soda cup on the receptionist counter where people are being checked in and she's just eating her meal, obviously no mask on like we are not in the middle of a pandemic. Then there are two women to my left, one was left standing for what seemed like 20 minutes before someone came from the back to talk to her. The other lady was complaining about them charging her $1000 for dental work with insurance. She stated that the dentist had worked on the side of her mouth that was not hurting because that is the side he wanted to start on. She was upset and very vocal about it. I do not blame her. That entire situation sounded suspicious and ridiculous. I finally get called to the back after about an hour, to only be sat down in another cramped area to be asked more questions about my visit. I told them I am not a new patient and I am here for a veneer consultation only. I have braces on and will need a few services including two veneers put on once my braces come off. After waiting another 15 minutes, the office manager comes up and asks me who told me this consultation was free because nothing they do in this office is free. Girl what? She, like the receptionist kept saying the new client intake fee was $209 and they would need my social security number to see me. No ma'am. I am not a new patient, I am here for a consultation. What part of this is not translating properly? I do not need or want an x-ray done. I had x-rays done March 6, 2021. Those are the x-rays I brought to this consultation. The office manager then says the receptionist at the first appointment gave me the wrong information because this visit is a new client visit and will cost $209. Again, I am not paying $209 for a consultation. The point of a consultation is to get a price quote for the work I want done in the future. They finally say, ok this appointment is free and the dentist will be with me shorty. Another 15 minutes go by and the dentist looked at my teeth for literally 30 seconds and says she doesn't like veneers, she prefers crowns. I ask for a price quote for the veneers, the crowns, a whitening, (I told her I would get be getting deep cleaning at my regular dentist) and a gingivectomy. The dentist says the gingevectomy would be done by a specialist but she was going to ask her boss the price because he may be able to do it. She tells me it will be a quick minute to get the pricing for everything and she will be back. They move me back to the tiny waiting area and I am sitting three feet away from a man who is also waiting to be seen. Another 15 minutes go by and the office manager comes back and shows me some prices it looks like they made up on a sheet of paper. I ask her can I take the sheet so I can compare the prices to the other FREE consultations I have had and she said no because they do not give out their prices. The entire point of my visit was to consult about the dental work and the prices of the dental work. She quoted me $3638.00 for two crowns, $2288.00 for a deep cleaning (that I did not ask for) and $400.00 for whitening. When I asked her about the price for the veneers, she told me they don't do veneers there. I CAME FOR A VENEER CONSULTATION!!! WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON?? Then she escorted me to the front of the clinic again and said I may want to schedule an appointment after I just stated I needed to think about the pricing and I did not need an appointment at that time. This was my fourth place for a veneer consultation and by far the worst experience and biggest waste of my time. Everyone in that office is incompetent. I literally repeated myself seemed like 30 times about what I was there for. They had too many people in such a small space and they were incompetent, and unprofessional. I so badly wanted to like this place, it was close to home and I wanted to patronize with my people. Then they have the nerve to have videos of other patients in the waiting area of their "good experiences" where the interviewer is asking them leading questions. I will never step foot in this place again. I will not be recommending and I will make sure my family and friends never come to this place. DISGUSTING! read more

Dr. A!!! I have never felt so at ease in at the dentist's. He was very encouraging as reassuring. I would recommend him to any anyone that needs work, and may be apprehensive about going to the dentist. I am going to get all my dental issues taken care of, and I have Dr. A to thank for my new outlook on dental care. read more

If you are interested in having your smile improved and have little income they will work with you. The doctors are compassionate and the atmosphere is relaxing. I visited More Smiles as a new client this past week. My appointment time was at 3:00. As a new client I expected for this appointment to take a little longer than usual however the wait time was absolutely ridiculous. More smiles sent me a text message with forms to complete prior to my arrival to speed up the process, which I actually did. Unfortunately this did not speed up anything. My appointment time was at 3:00 I was not called to the back to begin my appointment until 4:15. The staff were nice and respectful, however it was evident that they did not really appreciate my business as a new customer. For example, I asked the front desk receptionist for a refund of my payment since I had waited a hour and fifteen minutes, she answered the ringing phone, and took the call instead of assisting me, as I was there first. Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience here. read more

Won't explain why I was in Chicago, but this place was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so happy I took their advice. I needed to get some extensive work done and they did not disappoint. The entire staff was kind and attentive and made me feel comfortable. Even my dentist in Ny complimented the good job of the work that was done by More Smiles. Ok, this is my first day after having 4 teeth extracted yesterday June 2, 2020; and I feel great. no bleeding or swelling and best of all no pain. This is not my first review of Smiles Of Beverly, but my second; I didn't think the staff and treatment I received could get any better, but it has the Dentist Dr. Omar Alnuami and dental assisted are wonderful. They actually listen to your concerns and implement them in your plan of care. The Dr Not only prescribed pain meds with after care instructions, I was given a round of antibiotics to preventing me from getting an infection. Carmen Dooley and her assist worked with several credit institutions to insure I received the best of care at at a reasonable monthly rates. The office is clean, using every Cob 19 precaution recommended. The office is comfortable, well lighted and ventilated. Professional, warm friendly staff, and the best dental service experience I have ever had. It was a pleasure writing this review. I came in to get an extraction. That's it. My insurance would have covered this. I explained to the dentist my concerns and requested the extraction, then schedule a cleaning later. Suddenly I was patronized and given this extensive sales pitch about all the work that I wish to get done and was pretty much being forced to get nearly $15000 in loans to get the work I wanted to be done much later. I said I really want the extraction first. I was told to get a bone implant which my insurance doesn't cover and was being prodded to get a loan for that--$1300. It's a pandemic, I am not desperate. I just wanted a simple $300 extraction. I was charged nearly $300 for Xrays, which all they really needed was one for the tooth I asked about and then an additional $50 copay for the visit. I wanted to become a new patient here, but after all this, I am done. All of this was done with a smile on every face. Why couldn't they just conduct the extraction and leave me alone to think about everything else? The pushiness was a turnoff. Customers want what they want, not what you all want. I know folks need to pay their staff and make money but forcing folks into loans they can't afford is ridiculous. Going into debt over teeth? Come on now. read more

I have no problem with the staff and physicians, but I made it to a scheduled appointment early and could not be seen due to a previous balance that I was totally unaware of. I could not afford to make a payment on that day. I then opted to cancel and reschedule. I was told by the business representative that I would be charged a no show fee and could not see the doctor without making a payment on that day. I was totally enthralled. I also have a PPO insurance, but services are rarely covered. I will not be returning. read more

Complete waste of time, no personal attentive to the delay in care. Patients waiting - going on 40 min.. Not sure as to why they schedule appointments if the business arrangement to meet someone at a particular time is broken. Find a more well organized establishment elsewhere. read more
