I think I found my new Porsche place even if it's an hour drive. Very meticulous, knowledgeable and professional. Very clean bathroom and waiting area was nice and even provided munchies, coffee, cold sodas and water, gratis. They've been doing this for a while and are doing things right (as you'll see from the many awards they've won over the years). Did a great job with my annual maintenance, mostly consisting of changing oil and checking electronics, sensors on Tire Pressure Sensors (which were off) which they filled tires, reset sensors (no additional charge) and everything else was good to go. Alerted me to substantial tire wear without trying to push tire purchase on me as they would many other places. Prices very reasonable and without a doubt a long way from Dealership prices or some of these HOIDY TOIDY shops, (no names of course). Thanks for your GREAT SERVICE (hard to find these days). I will be back!

After a good diagnostic he was able to determine it stemmed from a bad cam shaft. We swapped the old cam with a stage two cam, installed long headers, oil pump, water pump, head gasket sets (after taking to the machine shop), spark plugs and coolant reservoir tank. My car is running mean so a big thank you to you Nelson and your team for the help, professionalism and genuine niceness. If you are looking for a sincere, knowledge, reasonably priced shop to take your car to, stop here

Prior I took it to two other shops closer to home and had two mobile mechanics come to my home and give me estimates. Their prices to replace the oil cooler only ranged from $2,500 to $4,000 dollars. Chris replaced the oil cooler deleted the EGR and did a couple of other things for under $2,000. He checked my truck for other issues and found none.He is definitely honest. He told me that I needed a radiator flush and coolant replacement. He said that he would teach me how to do it myself to save money. Chris is my trucks mechanic for its life. I talked to Moe at Tech Motors, and he said to try some alcohol in the tank to absorb the water. Nice of him to offer a do-it-yourself attempt, but it did not work :( So I had the truck towed to Tech Motors and they dropped the tank, cleaned it completely, ran some clean gasoline and fuel injector cleaner through it, and I was back on the road. I generally only write reviews on Yelp when its negative. I don't read reviews for the positive but…read morefor the negative ones. Here's one. I had been taking my car to Tech Motors for years. I've known the owner Mo for years but the last experience I had was horrible. I would not trust this shop. They charged me to replace a starter which they had replaced only 18 months ago. The service cost over $1,000 and after two weeks and three tows later my car still would not start. Mo told me he didn't want to work on my car again and I should trade in my car cause it was 10 years old and it would give me nothing but problems. I drove it off and the next day it wouldn't start again. I took it to another shop and they repaired the wire connecting the battery to the starter and told me the battery was the wrong one and it was undersized. I replaced that. The starter was good and my car was repaired and it was the battery the wires and the wrong battery which they put in. I'm very disappointed in Mo cause I trusted him but he ended up ripping me off and putting in used/refurbished parts that shouldn't have been put in a BMW. And he couldn't get my car to start because of the battery and the wire connecting it to the starter were shorted out. What a great mechanic to not figure that one out? He would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for the fact that my car wouldn't start after bringing it back two times after the first time I brought it back in. They charged me for a new battery cable end but he had only tightened the one already there. He was charging me for parts that he didn't even replace. It's when my car wouldn't start after the second time I took it back, that's when I started suspecting he was ripping me off and after looking at my past invoices, he most definitely had. My car is driving well now despite the wrong, used and low quality parts being put in a BMW high-performance car so he could save me money? Every time I took my car in, it cost me at least $1,000 so using used, refurbished parts to save money didn't make sense and that's when I started suspecting him of dishonest, unscrupulous behavior. He could make more money off giving me used, refurbished parts and they weren't even BMW refurbished parts. He's telling me he wants to save me money by using these parts are not BMW but I didn't know they were used and refurbished plus but he's ripping me off. He knew what he was doing. It wasn't incompetence. What a nightmare and I'm so glad he told me not to bring my car back cause I now have a better, less expensive and honest mechanic. These people are not honest. They're criminal. If he did it to me, he'll do it to anyone. I don't understand what happened to him to turn him into a dishonest and disreputable mechanic. I believed him cause he seemed to be telling the truth but the first time I caught on to something questionable was when he replaced my battery three years ago with one he told me he charged up and I would need to come in and get a new one. He charged me for a used NAPA the legend professional battery. I called him once as he had instructed me to do but he didn't have any desire to replace it with the correct battery. I paid $367 for a used NAPA undersized battery which he charged up so it may have been a dead battery for all I know that he sold me. He didn't dispute the charge back. I hate it when mechanics think they can rip off women cause we don't know any better and I'm writing this review only because I think people should know this in order to make wise decisions and to hold Mo accountable for ripping me off. You cannot trust this mechanic.
