My car wouldn't start yesterday. So with me not being an Atlanta resident too long, i was anxious about finding a place to get service that wasn't a dealership. However, money was a major factor with this unexpected event. Found Moreland Battery Exchange on Yelp and saw all of the awesome reviews. It wasn't hard to find. I pulled up and I'm used to going to various spectrum of the auto world (local/remote small business (prefer) or corporate (only prefer if i expect a lot of travel (warranties,etc)) I was helped right away by Corey when i walked in. I also think that i talked to him on the phone when i was calling around for prices. He removed and installed my battery efficiently. I was in and out of there in all of 20 minutes or so. my 2 stars are based from a specific experience,My line of work in the auto industry leaves me with batterys that I usally take here but I was turned away a hr befor even closing. I hada trailer with about 15 batteries and he asked how many I told him and he walked and looked and said yeah you have to go to our other location our warehouse had to many batterie. like bruh that's what yall do. warehouse was not even full and this guy has the nerve to ask for tips anytime I come like what am I tipping you for again, I even went with $30 in pocket to whom ever was there to assis. the skinny one was the problem . the wild part is he just recommended to another location that would have been closed. read more

I feel like they took advantage of me because I am a female. They sold me the wrong size battery for the type of Cadillac that I have. Once he put the battery in and I drove home, the next day I drove the car to my Dr appointment and I had issues with the car cranking. I took my car to another battery place and they told me that the battery I purchased from here was not the correct battery. I called this location and told him the issue and he was extremely disrespectful over the phone. I came back to this location and demanded a refund or the correct battery, they gave a refund and put my old battery back in the car and I went to Autozone on Flat Shoals PKWY and received the correct battery from there. I'll never recommend this place or return to this business. read more

Absolutely fantastic! I was at a chain store to get a battery and they said it was $99. I got word about this place and my battery was $65. This are the absolute worse battery that I've ever owned. Thank god that I don't have these batteries in my hot rod! This battery is in my 2006 Acura RL. Today it's cold outside and my battery has died making me late for my daily duties with my child. Stranded at Chic Fila was not part of my daily routine!!!!! This is not the first time the battery has displayed signs of weakness. My electrical system is fine their is nothing wrong with my starter, alternator, etc ITS THIS JUNK BATTERY! Im very reluctant to return to this establishment to ever purchase another battery due to the fact of the poor management AKA LACK OF CONCERN I should've known after my significant other batteries were weak from the jump and wouldn't turn the motor over, he received the runaround when he tried to rectify the situation! Money wasted $414.72 Im very upset because he bought three batteries for the Semi and also bought me a battery for my Acura and they are junk. Im so glad that I don't have these batteries in my Hotrod because being stranded is a pure embarrassment to me especially when people know you. We were recommended by one of our truck driver friends so we went on word of mouth and this is the same word of mouth that I will use to let everyone know that today im unable to use my vehicle and perform my daily duties. As a matter of fact while I'm typing this review one of our racing team friends just called saying he need a battery and I told him how my battery has took a dive and how my significant other Semi truck batteries are no good and how when he returned to the establishment they "charged" the batteries and told him they're good. He put the batteries in they sound very weak AFTER Moreland Battery employee stated that they charged them up and they were good wouldn't even turn the motor over. He took his batteries to another company and they also stated the batteries were no good when they put them on the load tester. You guys sell faulty batteries FACT!!!!! These batteries were purchased less than a year for the Acura and the Semi ( Freightliner )When he tried to rectify the situation he was told to they were going to PRORATE the batteries and wanted him to pay $120 for the three truck batteries!!!!! WHY WOULD WE KEEP GIVING YOU MONEY FOR BAD BATTERIES THAT WE HAD LESS THAN A YEAR!!!! m so upset because this is proof that these batteries are TRASH!!!! First the batteries for the Semi now my Acura! Now of course the owners make it look good by commenting and "ACTING" concerned and helpful in the Google review comments which is a total fabrication! Call to speak to the owner and get the run around! If you are truly concerned and want to rectify the issues my phone number is 404-840-6782. Just left Moreland Battery Exchange. Great Prices for used and new batteries. Very Friendly Staff. I was in and out within 15 with a used battery for $40 with a 90 day warrenty. They also said if i bring back the used battery within 90 day they will allow me to upgrade to New Battery for $21 with 5 year Warrenty. This place is awesome. Recently my 2012 Toyota Camry battery died and my husband told me about this place. He used them In the past and didn't have any issues. At first I was reluctant to go because I wanted a battery only from Toyota. Due to the cost of the battery at Toyota and the cost of the battery here I quickly reconsidered lol. My battery was $50.00 flat with a 90 day warranty. Ive have my battery tested at auto zone since my husband purchased it just out of curiosity and it's Still A1. I would refer anyone to them. The staffing wasn't overly friendly but they were polite and quick and to the point hey who can complain about that. Was told about this place by a guy at an auto parts store. After doing some research I figured that I would try it out. After all, my battery was BAD and living on jumper cables to start anyway. I go there and I'm being attended to, right away. I'm told that the only batteries they have for my vehicle are new ones. The price on the new battery was 69 bucks. Unbeatable deal compared to the $100 and up prices at the stores. Learned of this place from a friend that went with me to replace a car battery; its located over behind 285 E (Moreland Ave exit). Learned that they custom build their batteries and will install for you. What's so good about it? The pricing, very reasonable versus getting a battery from AutoZone, etc or an auto dealer AND it has this cool indicator bubble on top of it so you'll know when its time to be replaced! They also guarantee their product, I forget the details because it was some time in June when I went and they have a second location in College Park. I heard about this place a decade ago and never had need but today I went to pre price and the price of their batteries were like $60-75 cheaper than chain stores. I put in vehicle that had been sitting for 3+ months and it stated right up every try. The customer service was great and warranty is as well. oh man !!! great customer service. i drive a german foreign car with the battery in the trunk. the dealership wanted to charge me $550. another german repair shop wanted to charge me $360.00. pepboys wanted to charge me $260.00. moreland battery exchange put in a new battery in my car for $100.00 & installed and "programmed" it for free. everybody was genuinely nice and even spoke and kept asking me had i been helped yet. they made the process easy and painless. i drove away in about 10 minutes with a brand new battery. i would recommend them to anybody. thank you so much guys . read more
