We contacted Moreno Plumbing because our wall heater stopped working. We actually had maybe four to five other heating and air companies come out that we found on Yelp and all of them told us the same thing that the entire wall unit needs to be replaced. These guys found the issue was caused due to a malfunctioning gas valve and were able to replace the little device in about 20minutes and now the heater works like it's brand new. While they were here I asked if they could look at a low water pressure issue in one of the bathrooms, this is also an issue we had several companies come out to look at and everyone told us we needed to switch to copper piping in the house. This plumbing plumber was suggested by another service worker who was a personal friend of Jose. I needed a drain opened and my kitchen Faucet replaced. Only the handle was broken. Everything else was intact. He changed the faucet but left a huge hole on my counter top. When I asked what he sad going to do about it, he rudely said he didn't do that type of work but could refer someone to me. I later learned that it his his common practice v to "find" someone else to fix a problem for which the "finders fee" is shared. As for my drain, after the toilet overflowed, he tracked the stool throughout the house requiring a professional carpet cleaner. Jose also had a very chauvinistic attitude. 1st time used him to unclog a tenants toilet. He removed the toilet and flushed everything out onto the front walkway. We specifically spoke about not leaving the mess there and he said he would clean it up and not leave it there. He left it all there. 2nd time he did good fast work on stopping a leaking hose valve. No complaints 3rd time he was suppose to fix a leaking shower valve. He said he would go in through the back wall to get to the plumbing. Which he did but he also went through the shower tile on the front side. Not only that but he used a completely different type of shower knob to try and cover a HUGE hole that he left. Had to redo the whole shower. I could've had someone redo the shower and fix the leaking valve at the same time. Instead had to pay this guy $600 and someone else to redo the shower AND fix the hole he made in the back wall for no reason. His response "that's business" Wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I'm normally a do-it-yourself-er, but when I had a leak that was visible through the outside stucco in back of our bathroom, I didn't know whether to open up the inside or the outside to get up closer. The reviews are spot on! Mr. Moreno is as great as it gets. Call Mr. Moreno on Wednesday for an appointment on Friday. Had a long 2 do list: tub and shower not draining, 2 toilets running all the time, water running from under faucet knobs, no cold water from downstairs sink, water pressure in kitchen sink not as strong and finally, the dishwasher squirts water everywhere. Well, Mr Moreno and his assistant arrived on time and started the work. Everything is working now. New parts for the toilet, new knobs for the sink, downstairs sink has cold water running and both the tub and shower are without clogs. He told me I needed a new kitchen faucet and new dishwasher. When I was ready, give him a call and he would install them both. I also had my HVAC serviced by David, the gentleman he recommended. David cleaned the coils, added refrigerant and suggested the right filters (yes, I bought the cheap ones you must change every 30 days). He didn't have any my size with him on the truck, but suggested that I should go to HD to buy them. Told me the air would smell and feel better.
