They had a booked schedule but when she asked the owner he was kind enough to squeeze me in the next morning. I was desperate, in the middle of a heat wave my a/c stopped working. I received text confirmation of our appointment, a text that the technician was on his way. There were 2 technicians who arrived promptly, asked questions and quickly diagnosed the problem. It was the capacitor and they had the replacement part in their truck. I got to watch and learn as the repair was completed. My a/c is running beautifully. I highly recommend this company. My HVAC unit needed repairs however being that it was 30 years old, I decided to upgrade to the new electric rather than gas. Miguel was great about explaining everything about the changes from gas to electric by 2030. He was very honest and transparent about the cost and financing, which I appreciated so I could make the choice that worked best for me. The benefits of the new electric unit. I went with the BOSCH platinum series because for me it's go big or go home. I rather spend the extra money up front for the economy of the 20 SEER unit. I had one other bid and LAC came at a more affordable and reasonable price. The installation team Jose and Efrain great. They came at 8 am and got completed in 2 days time. They were patient and gracious about answering all my questions as they were doing the installation and I had plenty of questions. They did 3 of my friends homes and were highly recommended and I can see why! Best HVAC company we've ever worked with! Really went the extra mile to do a fantastic job on our heat pump installation. We wanted to invest in a whole-house heat pump to keep our 1900 sq ft house comfortable and nice for the next 20 years, and Miguel made sure we got just that. They replaced our entire 1960s house ventilation with brand new functional ducting and made sure every room got the right flow. They found us the best value heat pump for our dollar and tuned it just right to save energy and do the job well. They even helped us make sure it runs as quietly in the house as we can make it, which is like a whisper most of the time (unless we need to change the filter...If we can hear it at all, that's how we know it's a bit dirty and ready to change!) We're happy to have Miguel come out to service our heat pump every year to make sure we get as many years of service from it as it can provide, hoping for 20+! My heater stopped working the day before Thanksgiving so I called around to look for help but no one answered or was available. Ti finally called LAC who I found here on YELP, spoke with Miguel over the phone and he sent out Eduardo right away. Eduardo was at my house within the hour. He was able to clearly explain what the problem was and offered to fix it, however he offered a few options as the problem was in our attic which couldn't not be reached due to only having 18" of clearance he did not charge us for his time, and expertise. I thought I would give them a call after reading a review on Next-door. I left a request on yelp for a quote on replacing the evaporator coil on my central a/c system. Miguel responded that he would call for more info. Two days later he has not called and I left a reminder that he had not called me back. I can understand that it is a busy time of year.
