I don't know what it is with barbers these days not giving what you asked for and having minds of their own now, I walked in today and got an older guy with white hair, and showed him a picture to better help him understand and also specifically told him what I want, I wanted a drop fade and to LEAVE THE BULK ON THE SIDES, soon as I was done of course almost all the hair on my sides was gone, no bulk was left and I told after that he didn't leave the bulk and he just Oh... then he had the audacity to charge me 31$ for it, I was so tempted to just walk out but I'm not that type of guy outrageous don't recommend this place to anyone please don't go here, who ever is leaving good comments about this place is lying to themselves and are probably employees! read more

After putting down my sons name, they allowed 4 walks-ins to go before us. Not only did they charge my young kids for adult haircuts. They informed us of a $3.00 credit card fee, in which we had to pay. Then after addinfmg the $3.00 to the bill, we noticed an additional $1.50 cc fee for the same service?! Completely dishonest and unprofessional on their part. However, based on their previous yelp reviews, its clear they could care less about how they run their business. Morgan's is the go-to spot for my weekly haircut. W/ such cheap prices($20/normal cut, $26/fade), I can afford to get a freshie every week. All the barbers here are legit, even the ladies can fade it up. Barber Morgan does an incredible job staffing. It does get quite busy duriing prime time, but appointments are offered. Best barber shop! All the guys and girls cut very good. Not one has made me leave disappointed. You walk in and sign the sheet. So no need to worry if they are going to accidental skip anyone. They always greet you right away as soon as you walk in. Plenty of seating. Two tvs. Restroom available. Just an overall good shop! The only thing is that they seem to have a lot of clientele so Friday's and Saturday's get pretty busy but on those days the shop seems fully staffed so no one waits too long. My personal favorite barbers to go to are the three gentlemen in the middle. (Eric and the two barbers next to him) Also the young lady w/ the cool hair cuts clean with the clippers. They rip you off if you use your card. The barber who cut my hair asked me for my card and didn't even tell me my haircut price. At least he should have the decency to tell me how much he is going to charge me. The original price for my cut was $14 and using my card, they said they would charge $20 with a fee of $1.5. The total comes out to $21.50 and he gave me back $6 in cash so my total would be $15.5. However, when I checked online, I got charged another $2.5 on top of the $21.50. They lied about the price and this is completely unacceptable and a load of BS. read more

Terrible customer service, never coming back. My friend came in for a hair cut and left with his hair unevenly cut. When we walked back in to point out the difference in length of the left and right sides, she told us to take a seat and she'd take a look. When she got to us, her attitude towards us was obviously bitter. When she asked me what was wrong with the cut I explained the situation and asked her to fix it. Her response, "but do you cut hair?" It was a full house, so I didn't want to make a scene. I calmly told her, can you just fix it, it is obviously uneven and we aren't happy with it. She proceeded to defend her case saying stuff like, "you don't know what you're talking about, it's a fade, it is supposed to be shorter here etc." I understand a fade is supposed to progressively grow longer, but it is not supposed to have patches randomly longer/shorter than the rest. She would look over to the other barber, make comments in Spanish while explaining herself (not knowing that I understood what she was saying) then turned back and try to prove herself. My friend and I were fed up and left and you could see that smirk across her face. What ever happened to the customer is always right? While we were waiting, we were considering to come again to try another barber, but after the little tantrum she put up, we won't ever be back. Great Barber Shop with high quality service. I'm new to Riverside and so I walked around looking for a decent Barber shop. Most of them looked sketchy however this seemed more decent than the others. I walked in and was greeted right away. The gentleman that worked on me was very gentle and precise. He did a great job and knew exactly what I wanted. I felt relaxed in an environment that was very down to earth. I was skeptical about the graffiti on the walls at first but I soon realized that it was all part of the atmosphere. "You never know what you have until it's gone." Truer words could not have been said. I'm from the Bay, and I went to UCR. Now that I've graduated, I've moved back home, and sorely miss this place. Antonio is seriously one of the best barbers in the business. I usually got a 1 on the side and asked him to cut a couple inches off the top. Once I became a regular there, Antonio always gave me a bit of a fade on the side as well, which I really appreciated since Riverside obviously gets really hot, and it kept my hair from going back as fast as it normally does. The places I go to back home are trash. They never listen to what I tell them, do a poor job cutting my hair, and the worst part is in two weeks, my hair is getting as long as it was when I first came in. Also, $14 for a men's cut. Seriously. Now that I'm home, I've checked out other barbers and left without cutting my hair when they tell me they're charging $45, $50 with them. The Barbers at this establishment are top notch and very well trained in their craft. The prices are VERY reasonable with further discounts on Wednesday. I have been around the world and in 23 States besides, throughout the United States and I can honestly say, this establishment, as far as the quality of haircut and customer service, beats all others I have attended.
