Not even sure if they are open. Tried to call nd their phone was disconnected. And that mall is really dead and creepy.

Was brought to their online store because I was looking for a very specific watch. Their reviews seemed great only a couple bad. But a lot of em are old. But I said hey. A store in business for a long time usually means it's good! I tried calling before I placed an order to confirm they had it. No one answered. I took a shot and placed the order. Sent an email to ask if they have it. Again. No answer. About a day later I get a notification that the order was canceled. No reason why either. I still dont know if they had it in stock or not. But Im going to guess no. Who is to say they did have it and just decided they wanted to sell it for more money in store? I dont know. They surely dont answer any form of communication so they cant dispute these claims either. Here is the thing. I live across the country. I cant go in physically to this store. I have to trust that their online store is accurate and usually people answer the phone when called. But apparently not these guys. Simple business tip. If you don't have the product, then set your website to say its out of stock. Or remove it entirely from the online inventory. I shouldn't be able to be add it to my cart, checkout, pay, and get an order confirmation email. Not only was this a waste of my time. I lose access to those funds until my bank gets the canceled transaction. Which takes another 2-3 days. So people. Take heed. If you are buying online. You actually have no idea if the item you want is actually in stock since their website does not reflect their inventory and good luck if they answer the phone or emails. I hate leaving bad reviews, but bad businesses get bad reviews. read more

I went into Beach Cities Watch Company and purchased a replacement battery and they offered a 5 year warranty. When I purchased this the lady that helped me out said that if it goes out in the next 5 years, just come back in and they can pull up my information in their computer (that i don't even need to hold the copy of the receipt). When I called today the lady that i spoke with said their old system crashed and that they would not honor this unless I had a receipt (which was different than what i was originally told) and now they will not honor this which they said they would originally. I will not be going back to this store for any of my watch needs in the future. read more

I would advise you not to buy a watch from this place. I ordered a watch from this company and not only did I receive it defective watch but when I sent it back and they charged me a restocking fee. Why would you charge me a restocking fee for something that is broken? I never asked to return the watch, I asked to exchange a watch that your company provided that was defective, but you charged me a restocking fee? Why doesn't that make sense? You're going to do what you want anyways but I recommend you buy your products from another company. First time purchasing from this company and completely dissatisfied. The local store is currently closed so you have to purchase online. I tried emailing and messaging them without getting a response. I also tried calling and there phones are disconnected. I placed an order for a watch that showed in stock on there website, some time later I receive an email stating that they didn't have the item in stock and I would be getting a refund. If the item is not in stock it should show up as out of stock on there website instead of taking a customers money and wasting our time. Now, I have to wait for the refund to clear and look elsewhere for the same timepiece. I would not recommend this place to anyone as there communication is poor and you won't know if you will actually get what you ordered. read more

Have you seen the price for replacing batteries on some of the watches today? $50+! And if you have more than 1 watch... just sitting there day in-day out tick, tick, tick. Redondo Beach Watch Company has a great deal for those of us that are going broke replacing these incidious little batteries! Buy a battery and they will replace the battery free for 5 years. These are not super batteries that last for 5 years, they are just normal batteries that last a year or so. But when they run out, the folks at RBWC will cheerfully drop in a new one. For one of my watches I am well into my second 5-year deal - not to worry they are not a fly by night operation. I have always found everyone at RBWC to be courteous, helpful and frank. Last time my watch stopped they said the battery was just jarred loose but they installed a new one anyway because my 5 year deal was about to end. Next time? Got a watch that needs cleaning and maybe time for another watch...? read more

I happened to drop by the jewelry store across the way to see if they could change my watch battery. They looked at it and said, no, they would have to send it out for a specialist for a couple days. I gave up and was about to walk out of the mall when I saw RBWC and decided to pop in for a try. Got my battery replaced on the spot. The whole thing only took a few minutes and cost $10 + tax. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE AN EXPENSIVE WATCH THAT NEEDS REPAIR!!! Took an expensive watch here to get an estimate for fixing it and they literally gave me the runaround. I hate when these places "out source" the repairs and don't repair it themselves because all you're doing is paying the middle man extra! They said it would be between $250.00-$300.00 (and he said 'maybe even more') to fix this 18K Gold Watch AND it would take days just for the estimate because some guy comes around once a week and who knows how long for the repair. TOTALLY unacceptable! They also charge WAY TOO MUCH to change a battery! Long story short, I took it to "A M Watch Repair" in LA (Los Feliz) and this guy fixed it within a couple of hours for $100.00. I don't care if it took him 5 minutes to repair the watch, I WAS willing to pay to get my watch fixed properly and FAST FAST FAST!!! read more

I have been coming to RBWC for many years and in fact, I purchased my first high-end timepiece at 17. Victor the owner, helped me pick out my Concord sportivo. Since then I stop in for a visit every week and have made several purchases. The highlight of the store is the customer service and the premium vintage collection. RBWC has the best vintage collection I have seen. Not only are there unique pieces but they are also affordable. Over the years victor continues to bring in great brands and fabulous watch makers. Just got a new watch but needed to take out some of the links. I was anxious and didn't want to wait until the next day so I Yelped and found this place. I called like 40 minutes before it closed the guy on the phone was helpful and even gave me a quote over the phone. $10 to take links out of my Michael Kors watch. Was the only person in the store so I was helped right away. My father left me his rolex, but needed to remove a link. Was in the neighborhood so I stopped by. He removed the extra link and charged me $20 for 5mins work. Funny thing is, I walked right past Ben Bridge because I thought they would be too expensive. Great service! I took a new Michael Kors watch in to get some links taken out. They immediately took out the links and charged a small fee. They worked fast and I was out the door. About 10 minutes after I left, I realized that the watch was going to be too tight for me to be able move around comfortably. So i walked back in and asked that they add 1 link back. While I haven't purchased a watch from here, I have come here often to get my watches fixed and their batteries replaced. They have great prices, and extremely fast service. Repairs usually done within 10-15 minutes! The employees are also friendly and know a great deal about watches--this trade is really their passion. I have had 2 watch batteries replaced, a watch cleaned and had a ring sizer put on one of my rings. All the times I have visited the staff was friendly and they take pride in their work. Always excellent service! I purchased a Skagen watch as a christmas present for my mother here, they tried to size it to my girlfriends wrist so my mother could wear it right out of the box on Christmas morning. It was close, but not perfect so my mother went back in and they resized it again for free. Because I got such great service from them when buying the Skagen, I went back to them yesterday to have 2 batteries replaced, 1 band installed and 1 band repaired. They gave me a great deal and were super pleasant the entire time. The owner, mechanic and sales person are all super nice, friendly and chatty. They did not try to push me into any sales or extra charge stuff and gave me a discount on some of the work because I was a repeat customer. I am now a customer for life.
