Amazingly, Watch City might be the only option from Manhattan Beach down to RPV for watch repairs. That's not a bad thing because the shop is solid. I needed to get the steel bracelet for my new G Shock resized. The links are unusually designed, so I needed pro help. I drove to three shops in Manhattan Beach and Hawthorne first. One was closed, and the other two told me to come back tomorrow. The owner of the third actually told me with a straight face, "As you can see, I am very busy" even though nobody was in his shop or even his side of the South Bay Galleria. I then reluctantly drove down to Del Amo. The owner of Watch City greeted me warmly. When I showed him my watch with the weird links, he told me that he was very familiar with them. That made me happy. He sized it and told me to come back in 10 minutes. 10 minutes later, my watch was comfortably on my wrist. After we said "thank you" to each other, he flipped on his watchmaker's loupe and got back to work on one of his repair jobs. Unlike the guy at the South Bay Galleria, the owner of Watch City was legitimately busy AND still had time to help a new customer. Solid! read more

Watch RepAir 9-7-23 Watch City has been around awhile IMHO. It is next to the Macy's mens department; 2nd floor next to the Army/Navy Recruitment office. Del Amo is a big mall so parking best at Del Amo Circle and Carson. Gave Watch City 5 stars because I purchased a swatch 7-8 years ago and it's still works and I have never changed the battery but had to have Raffi put on a new band and added new battery for the airwalk watch. It was $28 to do both watches but obviously both (Swatch and Casio) the watches I purchased here last a long time!! wowsers!!! Took Raffi only 10 mins or less to replace band and add a battery probably. Great service and awesome watch selections. Small little watch shop but professional work on repair and If I need to purchase another watch, definitely buy here. read more

I have been coming here for years. However this will be the last time. The watches are beautiful. However, I recently perchased a watch that was listed on the tag at $150. Decided to take it. I opened it at the car, noticed the price tag missing. Gave it as a gift that day. The next day I check the receipt . I was charged 250 plus tax. I did go back and even asked the said there was nothing wrong with the price. Obviously I don't have the watch. However I will not be going back. I cant afford to give away $100 each time. read more

I looked at previous reviews. But it's a hit and miss. But to be precise on this review , I came in yesterday Aprill 21, 2024. Between the hours of 3 pm to 4 pm. A male rep , who appeared to be Hispanic decent , was not very friendly and was quite insulting. I came it to get my watch resized and cost was $20. Not bad. I came back 30 minutes after , he said that was the maximum links he can take off , and he also broke the clasp. He wouldn't even fix it. And he asked that I pay him. $20. And he also insulted my watch. I went to the swap mall right after .. and he was able to take off links and fixed the clasp that Watch City broke for $10. If you look at my history of reviews , I rarely go on here to post reviews. But this one was w MUST DO . I don't recommend this place. read more

Matt was very helpful, went to another place prior and the representative had scratched the back of it trying to get the battery out of the hatch; and they couldn't even get it open in the end. He immediately knew what the previous place had done incorrectly and buffed out a couple of the scratches; all while being able to correctly open the hatch to replace the battery. He was also able to adjust the metal strap on another watch I had brought in with maximum efficiency (just about 5-10 minutes) even asked me if it was a good fit and if does get tighter or looser then to come back and they'll fix it. This a very good watch and/or watch repair shop. You can buy some nice looking watches here as well if you need a watch battery or to have a watch cleaned or repaired this is the place to go. The first time I came here what really impressed me about the owner is that I had brought in one of my Zodiac watches as it had a broken stem. He took a look at it and was very honest when he told me that we could not repair it because the only service people that could actually get Zodiac parts was at Zodiac headquarters. Whereas most watch repair shops would not have been this honest and would've taken in my watch and then sent it to Zodiac and then charged me a lot of money for the service, this was not the case at Watch City. The point I'm making is that you know you are getting honest service at this business. Again, overall great place to buy watches and/or get service. Plus, it is easy to get to as it is located right in the heart of Del Amo Fashion Center. read more

The owner, Raffi, is regularly able to secure me limited edition pieces through his great relationship with the suppliers of these brands, and the service he provides his loyal customers is next level. He's also just a great guy to talk to, as he's down to earth, honest about the business and is a true watch guy himself. His employee Matt is also a great guy and just recently fixed the bracelet on my Ollech & Wajs P-104 S, which had a screw pin link that would not come loose. He was able to fix the link for a very fair price and now the watch fits perfectly. I've been going to them for a few years now and they've never disappointed me in the slightest. The watch technicians were very helpful, cordial and professional. They've adjusted the wrist bands and replaced batteries on many of my time pieces. Additionally, the one of techs went above and cleaned the "glass" on my watch dial so that it didn't look so dusty on one of my latest visits.
