As people in the area may know, the watch dealers in Delamo Mall have all raised their prices for watch battery replacement. Making it quite an expensive process. I don't know why they've done this, they've driven away a lot of customers, but that's just the way it has been. Since they've raised their prices, I've been looking around for another shop that could replace the batteries in my watches for a reasonable price. Mr. Time is just that location. I took two Luminox watches in today. The proprietor looked at them and quoted the price $25. 00 for the first one, and a discounted price of $20. 00 for the second one. Sounded good to me. They got right to work. I walked around the shop looking at their watches and their other items for a little bit, ten minutes later I was out the door. Great deal! This shop is located in the strip mall on the corner of Crenshaw and Sepulveda. Thus, it's really easy to find. Plus, there's tons of parking in their lot, so that should never be a problem. I called around to several jewelry stores in the South Bay, and every single one said they have to send the watch out. My job requires me to have a working watch, and no pun intended, I literally had no time to sit around and wait 3 to 5 days for a simple battery replacement. Upon arriving, I was greeted right away, and was out within 10 minutes. I also got a quote for repairing my Bulova that broke years ago. When I explained what the issue is with that watch, they instantly knew what is most likely the cause, and gave me a quote for that repair. Also affordable considering the watch brand. My go-to spot for watch battery replacement ever since my usual go-to guy at Morgan Jewelers left (they directed me to Mr Time. Even if the place is busy, they get the battery replaced very quickly. Usually they are able to take care of my watches right there and then, but once the watch I had needed to be sent out because of a particular tool that was needed. I honestly don't know where all these 5 star reviews come from. Bought a Citizen watch from them approximately 4 years ago. One of the reasons why I bought the watch was it came with a 5 year warranty. It didn't make it. After 4 years the watch broke, and when I brought the watch back for repair, surprisingly it wasn't covered under the warranty. The young lady behind the counter was so extremely rude. That alone made me think I wasn't going to come back. As I tried to explain to her what was going on with the watch, she explained I can see that, I work in a watch store. As you can probably guess the problem wasn't covered. They blamed it on citizen and said that they would love to have me look at new watches for sale. NO THANKS. So I walked in here with two watches that I needed to get the batteries replaced. They quoted me a fair price. As I was waiting for my batteries to be replaced, I took a look around. I found two nice watches I wanted. I asked for a quote on the citizen watch and They gave me a decent discount. I then asked how much the g shock one and it was at a fair price. So I asked them if I bought both watches will they give me another discount and they did! I walked out there getting both at a great price. Here's the kicker, the Swiss army watch I brought in was kind of difficult and they said they'd need some more time to change it out. 2/5/21 Located at the small strip mall along Crenshaw and Sepulveda. Plenty of parking spaces during this weekend visit. Came here to have a wristwatch battery replacement. At the entrance, there was a small table with a hand sanitizer and bell...the teacher's bell type. Rang the bell, a lady came out and got the watch from hubs. We waited inside the care and after around 10 minutes, lady was at the entrance waved at us and hubs went to get his watch. That was quick and it cost $24 as the watch needed 2 batteries. An awful experience with mentally ill employees. 10 days ago I had a new band put in my watch there. Today a pin came out of the band. I have regularly worn a watch for many years and this is the first time a pin holding the watch band came out. Today I went there to have the pin put back. Shortly after giving my watch, pin, and band to the older crazy and mean employee, she asked me if the pin was mine. The question is moronic and nutty. I told her the pin came with the watch. She then said the pin was too small. I asked her to use an appropriate pin and I would pay for a new one, if necessary. When they were close to finishing, I asked the younger mean psycho why she didn't replace the too small pin when she put on the new band 10 days ago. She said she couldn't tell then. This was a pathetic answer and possibly a lie. She replaces bands and deals with pins daily. My question upset younger crazy. She said that because of the way I had talked to them she could stop helping me. On two separate visits including this one I heard her criticize the older psycho. When I told her the older psycho said the pin was too small she criticized her again by dismissively saying, "She says a lot of things." I had been direct with my answers and never criticized them or used foul language. Right after the older crazy gave me my watch and old pin and I had paid, she patted the sign that said they can refuse service to anyone and said something like, "We're done." I take that to mean I am no longer welcome there. These people were out of control mean and crazy. I deeply regret ever going there. I was a regular customer for at least 12 years. I bought at least one watch and numerous replacement bands and batteries there. It's gone way bad. read more

I have recently bough a new watch. It needed the band adjusted, and I I wanted the battery replaced. I found this place sitting along my commute, and stopped in to inquire on their services. The quote was decent, so I had them work on my watch. They were able to take care of both requests, and in a reasonable amount of time. The workers here were nice, and they went the extra mile to take care of me. They also had a guarantee to their work, meaning that I would be able to come back and get the battery changed if it went out within the next three years. This was a nice cherry on top. This place is located in a sizable shopping plaza, on Crenshaw and Sepulveda. Parking is usually not an issue, and the surrounding area is decent. The worst customer service experience I've had in a while. I left my seiko watch there for cleaning and service. I was quoted by the manager $150 and if parts are needed then the price would change, understandably. I call a week later about my watch and I'm told the price is $160 now for starting price before any type of service was even done. My ticket had $150 written down on it. I asked about the increase in price and they called me untrustworthy. I went in to pick up my watch and again the manager called me untrustworthy for asking about the increase in price before any work was even done to my watch. If that's how they do business I can only imagine what the cost might come out to for "repairs". My father had this watch since new and I took it to the wrong business to take care of it. read more
