Prefect breakfast spot for meeting out of town guests! It was an easy spot of find and park.... plus the parking is free! The menu is reasonably priced and the servings are giant! I had the BLTA which was awesome. My guests had a variety of French toast, oatmeal, and pancakes. Service was quick and efficient! read more

its all about the cookies! Two years later and I am still raiving about the fresh baked, made to order (order at the begining of your meal) cookies! ive been for dinner, ive been for brunch. Usually fuller for the later, last time had to wait 30 min for a table. The service is spoty but the location is convenient and has ample private parking. Regarding the menu, its filled with different options for all the tastebuds and the portions are usually on the big side. read more

I went on a Saturday morning and it is packed with people. I see why! Staff was busy but got to everyone, food was great and really large portions. A little noisy inside but it was busy so nothing unexpected. I'll definitely be back! read more

Great brunch spot! Indoor and outdoor space, cute decor. I loved my "health inspector" green juice and the "New York deli" (bacon, egg, and cheese). Attentive service, yummy food, and a fun atmosphere is really all ya can ask for a brunch spot. read more

Great brunch spot. Has something for every taste from the vegan down to the hungry carnivore. Gets really crowded so try and make it early on weekends. As for the food it's very good and although we ordered some basic omelettes they were prepared perfectly. Their house potatoes were excellent. My lithe one had a basic waffle and it was also very good. Service was also good considering the amount of people at the restaurant. This brunch spot is good and won't break the bank. We did in fact order some cookies for the road the better. They were very good and a big hit at home. They take about 20-30 minutes make so plan ahead. Overall we will be back soon. read more

Loved this place while on vacation in Miami! We sat all the way upstairs in secluded breakfast table room it was very chic and cute. The applewood maple bacon is really thinly coated with maple syrup it was yummy. And the strawberry sangria was to die for! read more

This place is absolutely delicious for Brunch! I had a BLT and friend had a Serrano ham and grilled cheese sandwich. We ordered a side of macaroni and cheese too. Was super good. Went back for dinner because I loved it so much, and the two guests with me didn't like the menu choices. The brunch has a larger menu option. Suggest that more options are added for dinner. No one greeted us for like 5 minutes upon arriving too. Was shocked since my experience was better that afternoon. We left and went to another location. read more

We went inside as we did not see a host and had to ask for help. We finally found the host and she was quick and sat us upstairs in a small table and at an emergency exit door. A gentleman brought us water. We sat there for about 15 minutes and nobody had asked us for our order. I asked the gentleman that brought us the water to please send someone and we waited another 5 minutes. My husband saw that he did tell the waiter to come to our table but he decided to go to another table that had just sat down. We decided to leave. No body asked us anything. We will not be coming back. No organization what so ever. read more

This is the perfect place to go for a nice brunch in Wynnwood. We came during a busy time Sunday morning but by adding our names to the waitlist app before arriving, we only had to wait a couple of minutes before being seated. I wanted French toast but was having difficulty deciding which type to try. The server was very helpful and recommended her favorite dish which was the mascarpone and raspberry stuffed French toast. I ordered this and it was delicious. The filling was very sweet but the flavors all went well together. I also shared a sticky bun, which was incredible. Easily one of the best sticky buns I've ever had. The bun was more than big enough to share with three people, especially as we were all already somewhat full from our meals. Looking forward to going back to Morgan's Restaurant and trying more from the menu! read more

It honestly might've been just the day that I went on but the entire party I was with was disappointed in the food. The service was great. We got our table that we made a reservation for on time and our waitress was sweet and caring. The food came on time. The only problem was the food. In total, we tried the sticky buns, French toast, raspberry stuffed French toast, eggs Benedict with salmon, chicken and waffles. and mango smoothie. The sticky buns was the only item that was tasty. The eggs Benedict were so bland, it didn't taste like anything. I couldn't even tell I was having salmon to be honest. It came with two but I only ate half of one. The waffles were really dry. The French toast was meh. The mango smoothie didn't have a smoothie texture and barely tasted like mango. It was odd. The reviews looked good so we were excited to give it a try but we were not pleased. It might've just been because it was Sunday and super busy ? I don't know. Not willing to go back to find out though. read more

My friend and I stopped by for some brunch after getting a tattoo and this was one of the best experiences I've had. The two waiters that served us were very sweet, funny, and welcoming. We accidentally ordered the wrong dish and they remade it for us with no issue. She also kept checking in on whether everything was great. The food was perfectttt we both got the chicken n waffle sandwiches. She even offered me a free cup of coffee to take home. Amazing place honestly. Loved every second of it. (The picture is only half the dish as I couldn't wait to eat it before snapping a pic) I usually never leave reviews .. I think this is my first one but I just had to. I've been looking forward to going to this restaurant. The menu looks really great and there were so many dishes I wanted to try. There isn't much parking but it wasn't busy when we went for brunch on Saturday. They do take reservations online. There wasn't a hostess stand so it was hard to figure out where we should go to have someone seat us. The ambiance was really nice. It was a great place to take pictures because of the decor. I wasn't pleased with our waitress. We asked for a pitcher of the mimosa with orange juice and she brought a pitcher of the strawberry mimosa. I asked for a frittata and was told I couldn't take out the mushrooms. I thought that was odd seeing as some people are allergic to mushrooms. She told me I could only take out the chorizo. I also asked for a the chicken on my sandwich to be fried with no tomatoes and no avocados. She stated I never told her how I wanted the sandwich even though I did. I feel like a good waiter/waitress would have followed up to ask how I wanted the chicken cooked if they were unsure or didn't hear me. Her tone was condescending at times and she didn't provide the best customer service. Overall, I really enjoyed the beignets and I would give them another chance if I order my food to go. read more

After going to brunch to numerous restaurants around the miami area, I must encourage you to try out this place. Reasonable prices and top notch food. We got the eggs benedict with ham and chicken and waffles. They both tasted amazing. You can sit outside or inside but this is must try place. read more

If you love a good breakfast burrito, TRY MORGAN'S!! Coming from TX, I'm obsessed with all types of burritos and this one surely delivers. The filling has all the right ingredients plus a delicious sauce around it! The portion is HUGE!!! I enjoyed every bite I could eat and my boyfriend enjoyed finishing it for me lol he ordered the eggs Benedict and that was delicious as well!! I love that it's located a couple blocks away from wynwood too! It was a nice stroll to walk off and digest all the food and enjoy the walls! This place is worth a stop! read more

This place was recommended to me by a cousin for brunch. Finally made it for brunch today. The menu had all the popular brunch items you typically see. Egg Benedict's, chicken and waffle, stuffed French toast.. I found it to be good. The prices were reasonable. The service was great and the food came very quick which is great! Whenever I'm out for breakfast I'm starving and waiting is never fun.. I recommend this place for a nice brunch with friends or family. read more

I just don't get all the hype around this "restaurant". Food is what you can make at home when you are hungover. Beside the food quality that I won't even take the time to comment on as I already bitched about it to much to my wife and friends, It is a very disorganized place. 7 years later, it still sucks and the food is completely unremarkable. The service? Not a single coffee refill. It's breakfast, man. I got a kid now, man. I stared at the bottom of my coffee cup and drank my final lukewarm sip in despair and told myself that I wouldn't come back, at least not for another 7 years. The only thing that changed is that the crowd is basic. Maybe they always were and I didn't notice. Maybe I was basic too. Alas. read more

This was my first time going to Morgans and I went with a group of 10 to celebrate a birthday. We read about the long lines on the weekend so we came in on a Thursday morning and had the whole upstairs area to ourselves and it was a beautiful area! The table ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was thoroughly pleased and had no complaints whatsoever about the food! I ordered the chicken and waffles and there was not a crumb left on my plate! I found the waffle to have a nice crunch but was light and fluffy. The chicken had delicious breading and the flavors melded together perfectly. The wait was long to order but that was understandable considering that we were a large group that had invaded upon the unsuspecting waitstaff. We will definitely be coming back to Morgans for brunch again and will add it to our go to places to eat! read more

Loved it.. I'm such a sucker for restaurants like this. The outdoor seating is nice and open with beautiful wood tables that look like they came from West Elm. Great for people watching the hip crowd as you dine. Inside is nice and bright and just has a very young, hip feel which I enjoyed a lot. Now on to the food, superb. Excellent. I had their version of a chicken club which came with bacon. I really don't even eat bacon, but it had maple syrup. Sigh. Nom. Nom. read more

SUCH A GREAT FIND. I went here for breakfast 6/1 and we found it easily. There's also a lot of parking right in-front which makes it easy, It was pretty quiet and not so busy which was good by me :). We got a seat inside and the decoration is really cute. We started out with the Lemonade and orange juice it was so fresh and yummy, I honestly had 2 glasses of the lemonade. We got 2 orders of the chicken and waffle which looked delicious, and the presentation was awesome. 3rd order was just organic eggs and toast but everything was delicious. Been here twice and was not disappointed. They have parking but it can get pretty crowded. I would also recommend making a reservation on the weekends. There is a lot of beautiful shaded out door seating. Both times I got the Mascarpone and Raspberry Stuffed French Toast and the Eggs Benedict Florentine. I shared these two plates with another person so I get a good mix of savory and sweet. Their sangria is awesome and it's very easy to get carried away with drinking a few glasses. Mostly a place to go with families or a small group of friends that aren't looking to get too rowdy. No bottomless mimosas but they do offer pitchers of Sangria, Mimosas, Bellini's or Kir Royale (crème de cassis topped with champagne). Although not my top choice for brunch in Miami, this place is a strong contender. read more

This review is actually for their other location that just opened up a month ago but they are not on yelp yet (on 26th). I had a mediocre experience food wise with that location. The inside was SUPER cute and my friend and I were literally the ONLY people in there at 8pm on a Wednesday which was odd but felt kind of VIP (lol). We were offered a free drink which.. YAY! When the food came it was all pretty whatever and for the price paid I was hoping for a little more UMPH. The bartender was awesome however and we had awesome conversation w him all night. read more

Amazing Saturday Brunch. Did not have to make a reservation or wait for a table! We got the raspberry and marscapone French toast, Frenchman's sandwich, and build your own omelet, along with a fresh orange juice and an iced latte. Service was quick and attentive. We had a wonderful brunch this morning on their patio, during the pandemic. The waiter was very friendly. In order to practice social distancing they took out some tables but it didn't seem like you were alone as in some restaurants we've been too. We both had a mimosa which they make with fresh squeezed orange juice . i had the 3 eggs and added maple bacon it can with toast and potatoes. I ordered my eggs over hard and they were perfect! A lot of places bust the yolk but the yolk was complete. The potato's were divine and the bacon was like eating dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed it. He had the English breakfast which he said was very yummy. read more

Omg. This place is sooo goooooood. I ordered the pot pie and bread pudding for this rainy evening and it's just what the doctor ordered. It was a big portion for both items and was so freaking delicious. I'm too full to finish that bread pooping but I'm not putting it away yet. It's too good not to finish it tonight. Went here for Sunday brunch, we waited for 1.5 hours. The host told us you can make a reservation, but it has to be one day before. Most of the tables are outside so is like a patio ambience. I ordered an omelette and it was pretty big and good portion. The green juice was ok. This is nice for brunch, just beware of the wait time on sunday. read more

If your looking for a great spot for brunch this place is definitely one of the best. My BF had warned me that this place gets pretty packed on the weekends but luckily for me it was a rainy day and it wasn't that crazy. They have a decent size parking lot with meter parking on the side of the restaurant. Morgan's is a pretty small spot with inside and outside dinning and decided to sit outside for some fresh air. They had fans blowing everywhere for those nasty flies and heat. The service was great and was helped by the server. I was debating on what to order and decided on the French toast with bacon with a side of two sunny side up eggs. When my food came it was such a generous portion that it could have been easily shared with a friend. The butter that they used was a cinnamon butter with there maple syrup that tasted heavenly. The prices are also reasonable for location. Can't wait to come back to this spot. Love places that really put some love in your food. read more

Morgan's is such a great restaurant in east Wynwood. THE BEST Turkey Burger in Miami-Dade! Great soups (mmmmm, lentil!), terrific salads and specials, too. Cool hidden dining rooms throughout the house. Great place for parties, too. LOVE Morgan's! read more

A very disappointing choice. The food is good, but there are so many great choices in Miami, you are not missing anything if you skip Morgan's. It's not inexpensive, if you are getting what you pay for, which doesn't happen there. We shared a salad, each had an entree, shared a dessert. The person who took our orders was ok- pleasant but not really interested in helping us. Then it's always someone else serving the food- and that person could not have been less interested in getting our orders right. Again, everything we tried was very AVG. The woman who runs the place doesn't seem too ínterested in customer service. Every place can have an off-day, but based on the lack of customer service which appears to filter down from the top, and the so-so quality of the food, I'd suggest you spend your money somewhere else. read more

History

Established in 2009.

Wow! It seems like only yesterday when we refurbished the landmark neighborhood fixture of the little purple house in Wynwood, Miami, Florida. The first order of business? Choosing our name. Morgan, our oldest daughter, was chosen as a direct result of her uncanny ability in the great sibling equalizer rock, paper, scissors, winning five straight matches and several "re-dos". We suppose it's those communal moments that give us that pep in our collective step. The world has gone up and got itself in some hurry, even the clouds seem to have somewhere to be. At Morgan's we've gone ahead and selected to press pause and enjoy the moment, to cherish companionship. We can still remember running around our summer home, which was also the back porch of our winter home. Enjoying the sun from the day's end, sitting on that old wooden swing with a calm breeze that carried us into a warm summer evening.

They have brunch everyday! Monday-Saturday 8am-4pm, and on Sunday it's 8am-5pm.

Is this place closed now? We came around 12:30 and the gate was closed and no one picked up the phone. Please update your hours on yelp.

I was there last week and I did not see anything at the bar or on menu - I didn't specifically ask them about this though so I recommend calling. Either way - I'd highly recommend this place!

All they needed to do was make the mascarpone sweeter and thicker, and use sweetened condensed milk mix for the milk then soak the lady finger in espresso or sprinkle espresso on top. I was so disappointed it tasted like snot in a glass with matcha on top to me. The manager was very nice, she asked me if I liked it and I was honest with her she replaced my drink with a strawberry matcha. They took forever getting my strawberry matcha to me, it was getting busy but our server never came back to our table to give me my new drink. He was awful. We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.
