Came here twice. The first time was amazed by the concept of the actual restaurant (layout) and food. The second time was let down by the flavor. They changed the menu and took off the steak I truly enjoyed the first time I visit and replaced it with another cut that just did not bring back the "wow" factor I experienced the first time. Don't dare go without a reservation. My Benedict burger was amazing. The maple bacon was fire! My husband's chicken and waffle sandwich was good except for the fact that the chicken was super salty. The ugly: my husband had glass in his mouth due to a glass that had broken near the ice maker. Their solution was to give us a $30 gift card. Not even a gift card, it was a business card with the managers name and $30 written on it. I didn't like how that was handled. A $30 gift card for drinking glass didn't seem fair. After reading the reviews I made reservations for a Sunday birthday brunch for one of my besties. They have their own private parking lot that gets ram jammed but we were lucky enough to find parking right away. There was a line from here to downtown (thank God I made the reservations) So I took that even more of a sign that this place was an excellent choice. While we waited for the rest of our party to show up we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. Once our party arrived we were seated inside which was very loud, next to the bathroom, and very busy. We didn't mind much because we were busy laughing and enjoying our conversations. Now I must say the menu is fantastic and the servers walked by with food that made me want to try everything but I settled on a huge BLT. My goodness this sandwich could've fed 2 to 3 people easily. It was so delicious with crisp lettuce and bacon, fresh tomato,thin slices of avocado and the wonderfully toasted sourdough bread. My friends were all happy with their dishes as well and we also had the chance of tasting their beignets which were moist and delish. It came with 3 sauces but I chose to eat it plain , it didn't need anything in my opinion. Refreshing change for the brunch scene. Let's start with the inviting purple house with the wraparound porch with multiple heat lamps on a brisk Saturday. Parking is a breeze as there is a parking lot with ample parking spaces. We chose to sit outside despite the cold snap because it was too loud inside and the tables were too close together for us to feel comfortable with possible x-rated brunch talk. Then there's the welcoming staff from the owner to the busboys. Either the owner or manager kept coming to our table to check on how things were (maybe it was because my friend and I were there for hours trying everything on the menu). This place may not be a go-to place for me because I actually have to drive to get here. On those mornings that I want weekend brunch fare after a long night or I'm just in lazy mode -- the drive (albeit short) may be discouraging. Nonetheless, this may become my special go-to place for brunch. I had the organic eggs made to order -- scrambled with cheddar cheese mixed in. Although the menu doesn't inform you, the eggs do come with potatoes and toast. I like that I was able to order turkey sausage on the side even though I won't order it again. The eggs were ok, but my friend said her eggs benedict was the best she ever had. Having heard about the voluptuous grilled cheese, my friend and I decided to split one. At the time, I thought it was ok. Grilled cheese sandwiches, even at nice restaurants can be tough. They can come out way too greasy. This sandwich had the right amount of cheeses (it had BRIE IN IT), crispy texture and grease. With some time to think and write about it, I think the sandwich was more than ok. I kind of want one right NOW. The BOOZE: Morgan's offers beer (Chimay!!!), wine and cocktails. We started with the champagne cocktails the ingredients of which varies daily. Today, the fruit on hand were berries -- strawberries and blueberries -- that were muddled and mixed with champage. Yum. Mimosas and Bellinis are also available. To save money, I usually order a bottle of champagne and a side of orange juice. But Morgan's had a limited selection of inexpensive sparkling wine -- one bottle of prosecco and that stuff gives me a nasty headache. So we moved on to a pitcher of sangria. Red, white and rose are offered. We went with the white that was pretty tart as it had a strong grapefruit component. What I appreciated however, is that it was made with a riesling. I even gave the owner/manager a high five for the delicious combo. With our dessert sangria cocktails, we ordered the bread pudding which also varies daily. On our day it was the pecan & praline. I've had better bread pudding, but this one hit the spot that day. It had the texture of oatmeal and the pecan & praline flavors went well with our tart sangria. The service and tasty food definitely makes me want to come back for brunch, but now I want to try it for lunch and dinner. With so many new restaurants turning out to be flash-in-the-pan failures, it is refreshing to see a place like Morgan's open up. UPDATE: Writing this review got me jonesing for a grilled cheese sandwich so I convinced a coworker to join me for lunch soon after posting the review. Sneaking out of the office for lunch isn't always easy, especially when you have to contend with a drive from downtown to midtown but it was worth it. Arriving at 1pm, we had to wait a couple minutes for a parking space to open up (though there were plenty of meter spots). My coworker and I split our grilled cheese and burger orders. Grilled Cheese was even better the second time. The trick, I think, is to eat fresh off the grill. OMG. The Burger? DELISH. Juicy thick patty on a fresh brioche bun. Perfect blend of textures and flavors and good bun to patty ration, which is what I look for. The side salad is a GENEROUS portion of yummy earthy field greens with a light olive oil based dressing. The fries are more like "frites" and annoyingly addictive if you're trying to calorie-conscious. I don't like pickles but both times I went, my companions commented on how awesome they were. This is not the place to come if you are indeed escaping for a quick lunch. If you come here, you must have the time to enjoy the experience as the food did take awhile to come out. read more

I was a little hesitant to come here seeing the reviews, but since most were "waited too long to get seated" complaints, I came in early at 9am and had zero wait. THE BAD: Sat down at the bar which smelled like it was wiped down with a rag that has cleaned one too many tables. I took about 5 minutes to get acknowledged by one of the many staff members running around on a basically empty restaurant. Ordered some coffee which was served with a side of soggy sugar packets. The coffee was terrible. Also ordered the $18 chicken and waffles which did not looked pale, and tasted mediocre at best. THE GOOD: Drove and found the place easily. Doubt parking will ever be a problem since they have a large lot for themselves. The place itself looks great! They have a mixture of indoor seating, bar seating, outside seating and second floor seating! I did the options! The deco is attractive too! Conclusion: This place has a lot of potential but they need a lot of work to get it right. Until then I'll stick to other breakfast places. read more

I called Morgans to make a reservation for 3 people at 8 pm on a Friday night. The slightly snooty guy on the phone told me I didn't need a reservation. OK-- so, you're not busy for dinner at prime time on a weekend, and you don't want to bother going through the motions of writing down my reservation, not even just to make me happy. Fine. At this point, I would normally just call somewhere else. There are only about 50 cool new places in the neighborhood! But, I had purchased a "Living Social" deal, so I went through with it anyway. When we arrived at Morgans, the staff was super friendly and charming. They let us sit anywhere we wanted. It was a beautiful evening, so we opted for outdoors. It should have been gorgeous, but the patio overlooks the parking lot. Seriously. You're serenaded by street noise and have an excellent view of the cars. Please, people! Flower boxes! Hanging plants! Shrubbery! something? Our waitress was excellent. She was patient and knowledgeable about the menu, and she made sure we found options that suited us. We ordered a bottle of Napa Cellars Pinot Noir ($45) and a cheese board to share as an app. I ordered the Moroccan Stew and my companions ordered a salad with beef and a salad with chicken for main course. The cheese board was great. Generous portions of everything: a big bunch of grapes, a wedge of brie, some bleu, a Stilton, some crustini, some fig spread, and some gluten-free crackers by special request. The entrees were not so great. I can't tell you about my companions' dishes because everything was served in a gargantuan white bowl, so I couldn't see what they had. The stew was enough to feed at least two people, maybe three. I took more than half of it home, and it tasted better the second day. It was served fresh, maybe too fresh because there were chick peas, beans, dried apricots, almonds and other ingredients that needed to soften and blend together. Don't be fooled by the clean, airy atmosphere of Morgan's: this place will deliver a one-two punch to your stomach capacity before you've even had a chance to look at the dessert menu. Saturday brunch entailed a delightful section of breakfast and lunch eats and I had a hard time deciding, as is usual with a menu this diverse. I went with the club sandwich as I was craving avocado and was completely blown away with the portion. Seriously, I have a healthy appetite and I was barely able to put away half of this monster. Delicious free range chicken, tomato, avocado and bacon all on a toothsome flatbread: heaven. Add in some crispy shoestring fries and you've got a meal that I'll likely remember. I had one bite of their "voluptuous" (their words, not mine) grilled cheese sandwich and was pretty floored. Insanely tasty, insanely rich. Well, here goes. My two star review on a place everyone loves. I went here for dinner around 9pm. After having a rough day with my car and missing a yelp elite event I needed a drink and some good food. My boyfriend and I were driving around looking for some good food and we stumbled upon Morgan's. I saw that they had a 4 star rating with 131 reviews at the time. I was stoked! This place was going to be great. I saw that the parking lot was full and I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to try out this place that everyone was raving about. We found parking outside of the property which wasn't far but a few steps. Not bad, at least there was parking, unlike most places in the Design District. We went up to the podium to our host and asked for a table for two. Out of all the small tables available we got stuck sitting behind a glass door (main entrance I suppose to the place) on the porch. No biggie, it's a glass door and it wasn't going to be blocking sight of us. The host gave us a menu and I asked him if there were mojitos. Apparently this restaurant doesn't have a full liquor license and can only serve wine, sake, and beer. So I tried to put in an order. He then told me "I'm not your server, but she will be with you shortly." Oops! I waited 20 minutes to get water and bread. The person who took our order, that took another 20 minutes, after we got water and bread? The host. The server for our area decided she, who kept running to the table next to us to serve them on multiple occasions but not us, was going to ignore us. It took 40 minutes to place drink and food orders! FORTY MINUTES!!!!! When a young female employee of Morgan's was about to walk by me I stopped her to ask where my server was. She asked why and I told her why. She then told me that at Morgan's no one server takes care of solely one table. She also told me that the reason no one has tended to us was because they had 2 parties of 14, one party of 8 and a few parties of 4 and walked away. Man, I gave her that piercing cold look as she walked away. Yeah, I know, she didn't really get to see it yet it felt good to display the emotion I was going through while dining at Morgan's. When I was a server I never gave an excuse to a customer as to why no one had taken their order and making them wait 40 minutes just to get something to drink. At this time a party of 10 came in to celebrate an anniversary of an older couple. I even got talking with one of the gentlemen from the party who reminded me of my grandfather. They had the table next to us which was ready for sitting. which I'll mention later. Anyway, finally our food and drinks arrive 10 minutes later. The food was phenomenal! Hats off to the chefs! I had a skirt steak with string fries. The steak was huge! (that's what she said) It was perfectly cooked, buttery, tender, and just plain friggen awesome. Half way through the steak, which was 10 minutes later after I received it, I needed a refill on my drink. *crickets* No one came. No one came for 10 minutes. What the hell is wrong with the staff here besides the kitchen staff and the host who was doing someone else's job. At first I thought maybe they're understaffed or something, but as I saw they actually had a considerable amount of staff working the floor. At this point most of my meal enjoyment was ruined. I really was starting to hate this place. I finally got to order a beer but not without ordering the check first because If I hadn't let me tell you it would have taken FOREVER for someone to collect the check. Oh, back to the story of the party celebrating the anniversary. As I was getting the host to get me another drink and the check the party of 10 was getting PISSED off! There was their table that they had reserved and yet they were told that they could not sit them. This was already 30 minutes after they were told that they were getting their table ready, which already was. They complained to the manager and nothing was done. Finally the customers took it upon themselves to sit at the table whether the servers liked it or not. And they didn't like it one bit. The servers were giving them attitude about seating and switching out chairs and what not. I will most likely come here one more time, but if it's the same experience as before not only will I never come back, but I'll let my friends and family know how bad the service is. Ah, Sunday. I think you may be one of the more disliked days of the week - I mean, let's face it - it's the end of the weekend, and you-know-who is right around the corner (back to work, kiddies!), but you still offer one last hurrah... brunch! After reading all the great reviews, Grisel L. and I decided to bring our friend from NYC here for a girls' brunch date - and it was exactly what we expected it to be! Lovely atmosphere and delicious food... perfect! The restaurant is delightful. This is a great place to come with anyone - your besties, for a family birthday, to relax with your better half... It's very simple, very classic, clean, and relaxing. There is tons of outside seating on the deck, and the inside (although small) is really chic - all white decor. They even have a super cute lawn area/type spot with a table... perfect to reserve for a birthday or special occasion! And in the spirit of that beautiful Sunday morning, the gals and I took advantage and sat outside on the deck, promptly ordering a pitcher of mimosa - love! The food was very, very good. We started off with the fritatta to share - essentially an omelet with chorizo, some veggies and cheese which was very similar to a Spanish tortilla. Really good, definitely big enough to split! As my main dish, I chowed down on the eggs benedict which were just so perfectly cooked and put together. When I cut into the egg, the yolk just oozed onto the muffin and, well, you can imagine how it made me feel... My friends had the waffle (huuuuuge) and the french toast (huuuuuge). I had a couple of bites of their dishes, and have to say they were solid, tasty dishes. The french toast, especially, was divine! Because we were so stuffed from our gluttonous american sized portions and imbibing the pitcher of mimosa, we had no room for dessert. I was eying the bread pudding from the moment the menu was handed to me, and it devastated me to have to turn it down (ah, first world problems!). I am sorry to say that Morgan's has lost their luster. I was such a fan and told everyone to come to Morgan's for a unique experience - between the Newport style building and the inventive menu, I was in love, sadly it was puppy love. In the last 6 weeks I have been a few times and found that their service and overall experience has fallen to a very low and in my opinion ominous level. This use to be my first pick for brunch, but recently on a Sunday, when the restaurant was full but not overly busy, four of us placed our orders and only three of us got our meals, it took over 25 minutes for the final meal to come out which was french toast and even when it did the batter was under cooked, rendering the dish inedible. The manager was no where to be found and the server unaffected by our lack of service or ability to eat. In the end after much complaint our entire meal was comped but still one of our party left hungry. Recently, courtesy of groupon we went for dinner. Our waitress was unaware of the specials, even though her coworkers could rattle them off instantly, we were cursed with a server who didn't know much about the menu, or even the bread pudding of the day, yet this was a person I have seen at this place many times so you couldn't blame it on her being new. Unattentive in making sure our drink glasses were always full and the water tasted like perfume, it was pretty bad. Good customer service can make your business the target for return visits - unfortunately after these recent experiences I do not think I will be returning because I feel that my time and money are wasted here. read more

Four words: Patti's Maple Basted Bacon. If you make it to Morgan's for brunch (or breakfast), you must order this. You won't regret it. We got a side order, and it was gone by the time the plate hit the table. When we immediately ordered a second round, our server thought we never got the first one, that's how quick it disappeared. I've been here for both brunch and lunch so far, and I gotta say, I can't wait to return and become a regular. The outdoor patio is awesome, and there's some good people-watching to be had. The big parking lot is an added bonus, but snagging a spot during the busy hours can be tricky. I've tried the chili and the pulled pork on brioche for lunch. Both are good, though I wouldn't go so far as to say they're "musts." I have yet to try the grilled cheese that's won so many rave reviews...but I have a feeling I will soon... For brunch, I opted for the "pillow light" French toast, and was shocked that they actually were super light, like a pillow! I also got to try the raspberry "flat cakes," which were also excellent. The only downside is that they don't offer "sides" of eggs, so to get an egg to go along with my French toast (which, by the by, didn't come with any "mashed spuds" or other sides, though I spotted later orders of French toast accompanied by a little side of fresh fruit), I had to order the "3 Eggs Your Way," for a whopping $10. Morgan's prices are a little high, especially considering the area, but that won't deter me from returning. But, in an added bonus (and shocking to find in Miami), the service has been all kinds of great, and I can't wait to return! read more

Although we had made reservations, we still had to wait a while for a table. We were finally seated upstairs and the seating situation is a plain out joke. We were a party of two and two other parties of two were seated directly besides us; we felt like we couldn't even have most of the conversation we wanted to because we were all right on top of each other. After a night of excess, I needed a meal to bring me back to the living, and that took the form of Morgan's. They bill the menu as modern homestyle and that suits me just fine, so expect gourmet takes on things like meatloaf, a club sandwich and, yes, grilled cheese. Oh my, that grilled cheese. Every time I come here, I remember why I don't come here more often. In general there is nothing really special about this place outside of the atmosphere, which is great. However, the food is only ok and the service is mediocre to poor. This morning I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich and while it was not bad it could've used a little salt - or something else - because it was definitely on the bland side. I think the food in general here is lacking a bit in flavor. I've never really ordered anything that makes me say "wow". I don't know if it's because it's always packed (which in and of itself is a mystery) but the service is almost always painfully slow. They never seem to have enough servers to handle the volume. This morning we sat for about 15 minutes after we'd finished waiting to ask our waitress for a box and the check. This has always been the rule rather than the exception when I come here. I don't understand the hype of Morgan's. It's a cute place and ambiance. The location is also awesome. But the food and service are not good. I have one specific preference with breakfast food, and that is I need my bread toasted crunchy. It's a texture thing I can't eat any mushy soft bread. Anyway I asked very politely for our waiter to ask that my toast be toasted 3 times, so it's burnt. I need it extra well done. I would argue that the toast they brought me was not even toasted. They didn't offer to take it back and re-toast it. Also, I got a $7 ice coffee, which seems pretty expensive, and it came with a bunch of weird specs floating in it so I didn't drink it. Lastly, while I ate the potatoes that came with my eggs (the potatoes were great) I asked for pepper, 3 times from 3 different servers. The best breakfast items ever!!! I love breakfast on the weekends, but by the time I get up and get ready there is a strong possibility that I will have to wait. Morgan's has been on my top list and I finally decided that I would have to bite the bullet and wait if needed. I got there around 11:00 and there was a 15 minute wait which wasn't too bad. One of the things I noticed immediately was their organization. Everyone knew their role and was efficient. Our waitress had a great personality and was on point . My boyfriend had the frittata which was amazing and I had the Frenchman's sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, fried egg, ham, boursin and arugula. Delicious combination of flavors. I couldn't imagine getting any better until the French Toast arrived. OMG this is hands down the best French toast ever. I am not even such a big fan of French Toast, but this was amazing. The brioche bread had a caramelized crust and then the center was soft, it was topped by cinnamon butter. This was a perfect breakfast. Love it, its a must. I can't wait to go back. read more

This is a review Ive been meaning to write for a while so here it goes.... DAMN!!! About two months ago my bff and I went here for brunch on a Sunday. We got there about 10am which was perfect because there was still some tables left upstairs so we didnt have to wait. It was pretty packed by the time we left (about 12). The atmosphere is absolutely perfect. And the decor is pretty awesome too. Despite the fact that they are nestled in a warehouse district, I felt as though I wasnt even in Miami. We definitely felt as if we were eating in a beachside restaurant along the coast of new england. Super cozy. And the staff was really attentive and friendly. We got our menus and did some serious contemplating about what to order, everything sounded so yummy. Luckily, they brought us some delish little pastries while we were taking our sweet ass time. We finally decided that we'd each order an appetizer and a meal, which, by the way, was WAY more than we could have possibly ever eaten. Let me tell you though, everything was soooo good. The grilled cheese was the most amazing sandwich I have ever tasted, tons of gooey, melty cheese, mm mm mmm. We also ordered calamari, greek yogurt and an omelette with hashed potatos. The service was attentive and the outdoor seating lovely. I would definitely come back. However, I heard that the place is packed on weekends. Not a big deal since most people work during the week so the only time to score a good brunch would be the weekend, but even though we came in on an off day (Monday) the kitchen ran out of waffle batter (so we couldn't order the chicken and waffles) and someone else mentioned how they quickly run out of the sticky buns (only offered on weekends). It would be a bummer to wait so long and then not even be able to try the food you went there for! Just something to keep in mind so you have realistic expectations during their busy days. read more

I think the menu has good options, but the food itself is not to my liking. The restaurant's vibe right now is that of a new establishment, that you are just not sure it will be around for a while. I don't want to say the food is bad, becasue it's not; I just didn't like it, and I ordered two different plates. The service, however, is very good and the staff is very attentive. They did not have the majority of desserts available, and it was a wednesday, barely 7 pm. The early bird menu leaves lots to be desired, but it is a good effort at getting a dinner crowd in. I came across my review from a few years ago and figured I should update. The take away point about this place: Morgan's is fantastic for brunch and average for dinner. I've been for dinner a few times since my first visit, and it's always okay, but not great I still stand by the cheese platter that I mentioned in my first review. For the price, it's a great value and perfect for sharing cheese, bread, fruit, and spreads at the table. Brunch makes Morgan's feel like a different restaurant. Their stuffed French toast and the chicken and waffles are my favorite. And don't even think about skipping the sangria. They have yummy brunchy drinks. Voluptuous grill cheese - yes, the best grilled cheese ive ever had. there arent even close seconds. Eclair - amazing White chocolate apricot bread pudding - eh, it was ok, not worth the calories. Rose sangria - the sangrias at this place are just all outstanding. Salad with watermelon radish - so good. needed to have a little salad just to balance the grilled cheese Eggs benedict with breakfast potatos - my husband kept oohing and aahing the benedict. potatos were undercooked for his taste though. they also make killer cookies - their pastry chef is a skinny little thing and i find that completely unfair .... just wanted to throw that in there. read more

Nice place for brunch. Loved the outside patio, very quaint and inviting, but make sure you seat near the shade...Miami in the Summer is not forgiving and you will get a nice tan! For my first time here I order the Eggs Benedict with spinach, OMG! what an awesome choice I made. This dish is def a must! and of course you can't forget to pair it with a yummy mimosa :) Great option in Midtown, prices are reasonable. read more

Morgan's made a major fan out of me. What a lovely and satisfying start to my Saturday! I started with a champagne cocktail, which varies in type of berry, but today strawberries were the choice. Good, but the champagne wasn't quite sweet enough for my taste. After reading the reviews, I knew I had to try the voluptuous grilled cheese. But I REALLY wanted the raspberry flatcakes, too. So, I got both! :) The BF was with, so I knew it would all get finished. He ordered the BLT. The grilled cheese was TO DIE FOR! So cheesy, so rich and absolutely delicious. Skinny fries rocked, too. Flatcakes (pancakes) had raspberry puree instead of syrup - AMAZINGLY tasty. God, I could have eaten full portions of both the pancakes and the grilled cheese, all by my lonesome - they were that good. Couple minor hiccups in service - BF ordered the BLT but got the club. He ate it anyway, but said it wasn't that memorable. It came with a lovely mixed green salad with a citrusy vinaigrette, very refreshing and nice. Also, I wanted a second drink but the waiter seemed kinda weeded, by the time he came back around we were done eating and I didn't want it anymore. We asked the waiter to turn on the heat lamp, since it was a little chilly, so that def helped. Didn't get a look at the inside this time around, but you can't miss the purple house. :) Also, I thought the prices were really reasonable - around $10 for most items on the menu, $7 for most cocktails. Can't write a review because we sat down for more than 15-20 minutes and while everyone saw us NO ONE had the decency to even bring a menu or even acknowledge us. BYE, BYE. Too many good places in this town to beg for service. UPDATE 27 days after my original review; March 18, 2017 I sent my email to the person who responded to my review as he requested and in what appears to be the norm in this place... I'm still waiting for the certificate that he offered so that we can give them a second chance. BTW, I never asked for anything in my review, however don't publicly offer what you are not going to give. UPDATE March 20, 2017 Just read my email and the manager responded to my UPDATE. So, credit where credit is do. Again... I NEVER asked for anything but a response but much to my surprise, the manager was quite responsible and generous. Don't walk - RUN - to Morgans' for the chillest, yummiest brunch ever had in the "design D". Start with a side of "Maple basted bacon", but it won't be your last. From the eggs benedict, to the self-proclaimed "pillow light" french toast, to the pankcakes - simple, well-done, yummy. The outdoor seating almost feels like you're on the porch at some fancy, quaint bed & breakfast (and not in a cheesy way). It's Sunday morning, you're off and wake up craving a great place for brunch. Where should you go? MORGANS! For starters, it's in the newly popular area of wynwood. The restaurant is a big two story house turned into a fancy restaurant with an iconic tree in the parking lot. They have indoor and outdoor sitting, I recommend indoor second floor during summer. Sunday brunch is extremely popular, if you have a party of 4 or more be ready to wait more than 20 minutes. Once you are seated upstairs you forget the wait and the Miami heat. It's nicely themed and modern to fit the area in which it stands. The brunch menu has many options to try and if you're hungry it becomes tough because it all sounds delicious, but here are a few tips. The HOMEMADE STICKY BUNS are an epic must! These delicacies cost $2 each or half a dozen for $10. When I say epic mean it. They melt in your moth and the flavor is like no other but be careful they are extremely HOT!!! The Mascarpone and Raspberry stuffed French toast is another must have for your main. The flavors are indescribable and perfect! It has a great consistency and texture that you will crave the following week when deciding where to go for brunch. (lol) You can get a side of potatoes, they are also great, seasoned with natural herbs and olive oil; or some bacon. The mimosas are very good as well and they are not cheap on the champagne. The only thing that we did not like was that the food came right after we order it, yes no waiting around with a mad stomach, but how much time and effort was put in my food? Was it hot because it was frozen and put in a microwave? Or pre cooked in the morning and heated up? I have been in the Dublin, Worthinthington Crossing Outlet Center, Westville, Lewis Center, ALL over in Coumbus OH as well as the one in Napa CA locations at! I can't say much this location is but LOVE LOVE LOVE The Napa CA area BYFAR! Not only you can choice over 50,000 ALL kinds of wines you can EVER dream of but they does make a OUTSTANDING dinner in front of your table! Please NOTCE. When I mean in the Wine section you do have to choices you section of wine and it can get pretty pricely which the one you get! They do vary from $10.00 to up tower little over $25,000 and UP or if that not enought for you their a option to by a case of wines starting at $2,500 and up! Not sure if this is a franchz (spell?) restaurant or what LOVE their meals you get! The Dessert they give you is HUGE It's almost a book of a doz pages of sweets and wines too! read more

Amazing brunch!!! They have the best sticky bun I have even tasted! Freshly baked to order and extremely hot!!! Burned my tongue! Their mascarpone and raspberry filled French toast is to die for! A must have! Service has always been great very time we've gone. Now, the wait time for brunch is crazy! Get there early if you can!!! Parking is limited as well specially for the amount of people who go! The decoration is all white and modern. Very cozy. Bottom floor is very tight though! I recommend sitting up stairs or outside! Located in the uber popular area of the Wynwood Arts District, Morgan's has become a staple in the area for brunch type delights. Nestled against beautiful vine like greenery, Morgan's best feature is definitely its outdoor seating, which is strategically shaded against the sometimes scorching Florida sun. I greatly enjoyed sitting outside in their casual ambiance basking in the nice weather and listening to all the chatter from other guests. I have to share that Morgan's was particularly busy the day I visited, so we sat and waited for quite some time to have our order taken, but the waitress apologizing for the mishap more than made up for this. Every person we made contact with, from busboy to hostess to server was extremely pleasant and seemed to be local to the area. I loved this because the waitstaff really reflected the area, all down to earth, pleasant and funny. People don't always think this way when they think of Miami locals but as a bonafide Miami girl at heart, I find other fellow Miamians to have a lot of personality and a good sense of humor and this is true of the employees at Morgans. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves in getting to know them. I had a BLT with avocado and my husband the French Toast. Both were very good and the portions matched the price. It is typical in price to Miami restaurants however their portions were oversized so i have to say I love when you get more than what you pay for. I am a fan of crushing on all the art at Wynwood so it's nice to now know that Morgan's is only a few steps away. read more

For a brunching broad like me anyplace that offers a good menu along with parking has my attention so for my traditional "Girls ONLY birthday brunch" this year I corralled 9 ladies to check the place out. We such a big group we were each able to sample a bit of it all while gawking at the wonderful presentation of most of the decadent dishes. I always go for omelets since I hate making them at home and since they offer a make your own option I went to town, egg white omelet with tomatoes, spinach and chevre for me which came with breakfast potatoes and toast. It was perfection. One of my gal pals ordered the Brioche French Toast which looked worth every calorie and carb and then some. My sister-in-law's house club looked like just that, a freaking house, she wasn't even sure how to start it off and had more than enough to give everyone at the table a bite. Being that I was the birthday girl I indulged in a little bit of bubbly with their signature champagne cocktail which was as refreshing as it was delightful although I would've like it more without the blueberries that kept floating up and getting in my drinking way. My girl friends were apparently so consumed by their meals that they forgot to cover my tab which was quite alright since it came in under $20 including tax and tip. Next time I'll take the hubby and share a dish to maximize the savings. read more

Morgans has been on my "to brunch" list ever since I heard they had an amazing grilled cheese. And now I wonder - why did I wait so long?? It's a big purple house in a completely random neighborhood, but at least they have their own parking lot (yay for not having to pay a meter or a machine). 11am on a Sunday morning with a group of friends and we were seated right away. They were very patient with us as the group straggled in at different times. Went straight for the 'Voluptuous Grilled Cheese' with gruyere, white cheddar and brie. And did I mention the fries were amazing too?? Other orders at the table: eggs benedict, raspberry flatcakes, frittata (warning: the chorizo is spicy). Everyone was very satisfied with their dishes. We hung out for a while - plenty of chatting - and an hour after taking our last bite we finally got up to leave. I'm always a fan of places that don't rush you. Only thing I wasn't a fan of? The old dude with a ponytail sitting next to us who kept giving us grouchy old man looks because we were laughing too loud. Really dude? But unless his name is Morgan, I don't care. ;) read more
