I feel like I've had some trouble finding really good Korean spots in Middle Tennessee, but boy did I find a good one! I heard about MoriMori because I saw a post on social media, and had wanted to check it out for a while now. We ordered the Korean chicken wings and bulgogi beef. The Korean wings were some of the best I've ever had. Truly. They were perfectly crispy, huge, and all of the sauce they put on top was incredible. They give you such a big portion as well! The bulgogi beef also was incredibly tasty and just the way I like it. What makes this dish different is that they put onions, carrots, and mushrooms in the mixture as well which really added flavor. The portions were so big we even had leftovers for the next day! The employees were also very nice and gracious, and the restaurant itself is very spacious and clean with plenty of parking! If you want good Korean food at an affordable price, definitely go here! We will definitely be back.

Mori mori is a good little spot. I visited on a Friday night around 7pm and the place was poppin! I enjoyed a strawberry boba tea and spicy shrimp udon noodles (weird mix, I know). My boyfriend and I also shared a hot gabby and hot knight. All you really need to know is to get the pork gyoza because they're amazing!! As for the food... At least try the pork gyoza and you can call it a successful trip! These dumplings are some of the greatest I've ever had. So good we cleaned the plate before even thinking to snap a picture. The hot knight was also fantastic, lots of flavor and great texture!! I wouldn't have the hot gabby again. Half of it came fried and half did not, the texture was odd, there wasn't much flavor, and overall we just weren't impressed. My udon noodles were good but definitely not spicy and unfortunately they didn't have many options to kick up the heat. Our server brought me a spicy seasoning mix but there was no chili oil or spicy sauce, so that was a bummer. Service was good but they seemed short staffed. There was one younger gentleman basically running the show for the front of house, and he was absolutely crushing it, but there definitely needed to be at least one more person to help from what we observed. Atmosphere is good, casual. A little crowded when there's a full house, but still a nice every day stop. Prices are really good for Nashville! Overall, this a good casual sit down place.

We went here for weekend lunch and it was Very Good. The food was tasty and presented well. The entrees that we got were both HUGE portions. Alot of food and moderately priced. They had a Boba Bar as soon as you enter. We were greeted and given a table quickly. The service was good and the staff were friendly. I will say that they have a big menu with alot of choices. Sushi, Entrees, Rice and Sushi bowls along with plenty of appetizers. You can also view the chef's prepare the fresh made to order Sushi. There is plenty of free parking. They also have Sake, Beers and Wine. It's a nice spot if you're in Mt. Juliet.

Best food I've had in Tennessee, bar none. Service was amazing, lighting is perfect, and the food is actually insane.

Let me first say I have tried MANY sushi restaurants in Wilson and Sumner Counties since moving here from the DC area, all fell flat. This place hit the spot. Great service, nice atmosphere and tasty sushi. As a matter of fact, I went for lunch on Valentine's Day and they had a nice romantic playlist on for those that may come on dates, thoughtful. I had the Tempura Cali Roll and New York roll, I didn't want to try anything to crazy as my past experiences in other restaurants had been so poor with nasty raw sushi. These rolls were delicious! My server was incredibly attentive and kind. The price was phenomenal and I will be back. I highly recommend it.

Ok so I wasn't sure if I've been there before but then I realized I had come here before, ha! Not sure why I didn't review then. This experience was ok. Restaurant was not that busy and service was ok. Nothing bad just nothing special. The menu has a lot of options so you will definitely find something you'll like. They have beer, wine, mixed drinks, sake and the fountain drinks. The restaurant is divided by two room and the decorations are simple but work. I will have to say the chairs are NOT comfortable at all, they are very hard and no cushion so to spend 30 mins to an hour+ on them could give you some hump pain. Also, the bar top table is not leveled so be careful if you're eating a soup (what I had) you have a high risk of spilling it. Not very comfortable eating eight. The sushi bar staff was very friendly and attentive. They have TVs and today (Sunday) they were tuned on football games. Bathroom, only 2 stalls and 1 small sink and could use a bit of tidying up/cleaning. I ordered the Japanese Ramen (spicy) and the Avocado Ball. Both very good. The ramen was a miso based broth with the right noodles, I enjoyed it. It wasn't too spicy but it definitely had its kick. The Avocado Ball was good but I feel the tuna meat was missing some flavor. It's not spicy even though it's "spicy tuna". I did enjoyed it but I asked for ginger (doesn't come with it) and used soy sauce. It's a good size so I would definitely consider it as a "roll" or a shareable appetizer. It's messy so I ate it with a fork. Overall, I'll recommend and will come back for a meal every once in a while when I'm around the area.

A few hits and misses here. And my expectations were lower for being a sushi place in the burbs to begin, but the high rating gave me hope! First off...rushing someone's meal is never ok and especially with the cost to eat out. Biggest issue here was service timing. You make more money when you encourage customers to order more not RUSH them with a bill or with trying to take their plate before they are finished eating. Please educate your wait staff on this to help you and them make more money. I also had to flag another server down to get me basic items in order to eat my meal bc the server camped out in a side room. Cuts of sashimi were great in size, though the salmon was still a little frozen. Avocado bomb looked great but in the process the spicy tuna some how ended up getting cooked, and cooked where it was a bit strange in comparison to having same thing at other places. The specialty roll options are heavily weighted with a California roll base which maybe the area has more appeal to that. Overall not bad but won't be a regular for me.

New ownership? New chef? New vibe? My last review for the Mori Mori wasn't the best and as a reminder, we ordered it to go and during the middle of the pandemic. The last two times we have eaten here, once inside and one to-go order, have both been stellar. The food quality is much better and the staff here is awesome. Shout out to Justin! He was our server last time we ate here and he was great, very attentive and fast! We've literally ordered too many rolls to name, so I will just say get the Avocado Bomb and the Angry Lobster roll if you're dining in. I'm not sure how well these food items will travel. If you're ordering to for pickup; stay with the classic rolls. A few highlights for me are the Crunch Mania roll and the Caterpillar roll. Maybe add a some crispy calamari to that order?! Roll on, Mount Juliet!

hidden gem in mt juliet. stopped in last min on a friday night. was pretty full but got seated in a couple mins!! waiter was a cool mixed dude who was serving, bringing out food, sitting people and running the tea section. impressive. but my gf and i split an order of pork gyoza, the hot night roll and some boba teas. ALL was delicious. for entrees i got the chicken katsudon with fried rice. scrumptious and a MASSIVE portion. the gf shrimp udon noodles. great flavor in the one bite she gave me lol we also ordered the hot gabby roll cause we were munching but didn't enjoy that roll as much. all and all was really good and looking forward to going back

This is one of the best sushi places around Middle TN!! Everything I've had on their menu is delicious. My husband and I love coming here for date nights and splitting the sushi boat A. It is the perfect amount for both of us! They also have a really good happy hour. It's currently 3pm - 6pm Monday - Friday. $6 cocktails!!! There is tons of parking, the restaurant is always clean, and the staff is always so nice!! Things are also pretty reasonably priced. They also have lunch specials. I would definitely recommend coming here. It's also nice that it is a local restaurant because Mount Juliet is mostly filled with chain restaurants.

I would highly recommend this place! The items we ordered were all great. Lots of flavor and large portions for the price. Things were a little on the spicy side so be aware of this when ordering as they can adjust per order. Our usual sushi place seems outdated and not as fresh as it used to be. We will be back here, plenty to explore on the menu. read more

This is my new sushi place!! The service was awesome, everyone was very attentive and super friendly. The food is amazing and there wasn't a sushi roll that we did not like! The chefs did an amazing job with presentation, creativity, and taste. I can go on and on and how wonderful everything was and how clean everything is but that would take all day. This is a great sushi place for a wast coast traveler looking for decent ambiance and fresh, creative, tasty fare. It's a bit pricey, but the rolls are huge! I made the mistake of ordering two appetizers and five rolls for the two of us and my date laughed for quite a while at the ridiculous amount of food. We both recommend the Avocado Bomb!!! read more

We decided to try MoriMori hoping to find a sushi place that we like in Mt Juliet. We got it for takeout and ordered two sushi rolls and two poke bowls with rice. When we got home my bowl had lettuce instead of rice and the ahi tuna didn't taste like any sauce, it was very bland. The second bowl was totally a different kind of bowl with different ingredients and it did have rice and sauce. I called to let them know I was upset that I didn't get what I ordered and the manager insisted that they made the same bowl but they were made by two different chefs. I had both bowls in front of me and they were different and even the fish looked and tasted different. Both me and my husband tried them and they tasted totally different. I don't mind spending money on food but If I pay $50 for food I at least want to get the food I ordered. Customer service is not great as she didn't even try to make it right or apologize. I guess we won't be going back there again. read more

We ordered takeout last night. We had never eaten here before, but the menu was quite impressive so we thought we would give it a chance. Wow! Are we ever glad we did!!!! The reasonableness of the price, the presentation of the food, the speed of how soon it was ready and the taste were outstanding! We inhaled all the sushi. So good. This is my new favorite sushi/Japanese restaurant. The maguro tuna nigiri was perfect! The miso soup was, by far, the best I've slurped in several years; the best I've had since trip to Japan; Perfection! Just when we were pinching ourselves, the Sushi chef brought a dish of fresh wasabi. Nuff said. They also serve Korean and Thai. Will definitely try pad Thai on another visit. But this place goes beyond the food; the people who work there are lovely; friendly, and memorable. So happy they're in the area. read more

Probably the best Korean food and sushi rolls in Nashville vicinity. Atmosphere is nice and staffs are friendly. we ordered Bulgogi, Sashimi on bowl of rice, and a couple of rolls. My 5 year old daughter finished the whole Bulgogi dish, which serves with tasty side dishes, including small portions of zucchini, bean sprout, and shitake mushroom. Rolls were so fresh and presentation is by far the best in town. I will definitely go back and try other foods. read more

Ate here tonight with my dad and it was sooo good! Restaurants don't seem to last very long in this location but I have a good feeling about this one. It was pretty crowded for a Thursday night in Mount Juliet. The atmosphere is amazing and we had great service. I ordered the Sean's special (fried sushi roll) and it came out hot and fresh. You can see them making your sushi so that's always reassuring. My dad ordered the shrimp dinner with fried rice and they gave him way more shrimp than your typical serving (he couldn't even finish it). Extremely well priced too. Will be back many times I'm sure :) read more

We frequent this place at least once every week or 2. The service is usually slow and they have gotten my order incorrect more than once. However, tonight was a royal nightmare. We were told our takeout order would take 20 minutes and it ended up being 50. The staff was very rude and the manager offered no explanation other than "we mixed up the order" and did not offer any compensation or apology. read more

Horrible service, never going back. And recommended no one else patronized this establishment. Put rotten mint in my drink, told them about it and they did it again. Definitely will not be going back. The service was great, the restaurant was beautiful & clean. The food.....just wasn't good. Not just my food, but both of my daughters were with me, we each ordered something different so we could share :) That didn't happen! We did however have plenty of leftovers, that we LEFT on the table! :( read more

Doesn't have low tables for disabled guest. Would have been nice to have at least one table to accommodate a wheelchair user. Very disappointed in 2019 that there are still places that don't include disabled customers. read more

Worst Tonkatsu I have ever had! More like jerky with Panko. Granted it was takeout but even factoring that it was really bad. I lived in Japan for almost 4 years and I have had this dish many times. I hope this is the exception because everything else was good and well liked by our party. read more

We have been here several times and enjoyed the Korean food but we were very disappointed tonight. Service was not good. The waiter never took a dirty dish off the table. Also had to ask for silverware and napkins. My drink was delivered in a dirty glass. Food took forever even though there was only three other tables. Each item ordered came out separately. I had already finished when my wife finally got served. When we paid and was leaving, I mentioned to the owner that she had an issue in the kitchen. She did not seem concerned nor did she apologize. read more

We love Mori Mori! We usually eat here 2-3 times a week. Sushi is so fresh and delicious - our faves are Sean's Special Roll, California Style California Roll, and the 911 roll. The Sashimi Salad is wonderful as well. Bento boxes are delicious and you get a great variety. The soups are awesome and the salads are unique and great as well. Jessie is a very sweet and attentive server. Note - they are opening a buffet next week (first week of October 2018), cannot wait to check that out!! read more

They wanted Korean food and that was the only one nearby. It's exactly how I remember it.... The same hole-in-the-wall, small restaurant but very packed with tons of customers. My kids shared the kalbi and I ordered the sweet and sour pork. I mean this in a good way, but Korean food (no matter the restaurant) always tastes the same. The only time you know when you have problem is when it tastes drastically different than what you're used to. I've had very few bad experiences with any Korean restaurant. What I personally look for is consistency in flavor and Korea House let that expectation. And because of that, it's as good as I remember and as delicious as I remember. Highly recommended.

I definitely should've stuck with regular. Still, it was incredibly delicious, comforting, and exactly the kind of dish you crave in the winter months. We also tried the beef bulgogi, which was packed with flavor and came with a generous spread of banchan that made the whole meal even better. The staff was friendly, seated us right away, and brought water without us having to ask. I also loved the cozy layout, lots of intimate seating and an attentive team that makes you feel taken care of. Can't wait for more cozy visits.

Wheelchair accessibility: so right off the bat there's not a lot of great parking options and we did not see an accessible parking space close. There's a double door entrance, which is very tight and would be hard to navigate by a chair user on their own. Other than that this restaurant actually really wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the fact that the floors are super slippery and this I guess is for both chair users and ambulatory humans. It's just slippery. The bathrooms are fine. There's a nice accessible stall and everything was reachable and the door into the bathroom was really light. The height of the Hot pot table is actually the perfect height for a wheelchair user which is tricky at a lot of these different restaurants. So kudos to that.

There is duct tape EVERYWHERE trying to hold the once glossy, once white, once clean laminate in place. The booth we sat in (also cushion ripped and worn) had no less than 6 strips of duct tape holding it together. If you look around the dining room, it is on most of the joints, keeping them together. It is als VERY junky and cluttered. Went to the bathroom (another area that needs a lot of work) and there are rolling storage cabinets lining the hall making it very claustrophobic. On the way back to the table I looked behind the bar - a hodge podge of tools and caulk guns and whatever else I do not know piled in the floor. It was a mess. Corners and baseboards, chair legs and booth bases were just - dirty. Years of residue built up. Probably won't eat inside ever again, it is just so depressing, especially after knowing what it once was. We were there at prime lunch time after church and there were only three tables seated and a couple of to go customers.

My husband went with the hot club sandwich and fries, and I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with onion rings. Let me just say, the food came out fast and absolutely delivered. My husband's sandwich had that picture perfect cheese pull moment that you hope for but rarely get, and it tasted just as good as it looked! My chicken salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the onion rings truly stole the show. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, lightly seasoned, and just the right texture with every bite. Easily some of the best I have ever had. It is easy to see why this place stays busy. The Glade Diner has that classic, well-loved feel where good food and friendly service come together in the best way. Some friends introduced us to Mori Mori last year, and it quickly became our favorite sushi spot. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is consistently great. I highly recommend the yam tempura roll and the vegetable dynamite roll. This kid-friendly place has a broad selection to choose from, even for vegans and gluten free people. Our kids also love their sushi and edamame appetizer. If you get Michael as your server, he's a delightful human being who will make sure everything is absolutely perfect.
