VERY BUSY on the weekends. Luckily they had space at the bar and we didn't mind sitting there! The food took a very long time, understandably so. It was worth it though! I had the breakfast burrito with potatoes and WOW. It's so delicious. The bartender was awesome and very fun to talk with so though we spent a long time there due to how busy it was, we were preoccupied with just simply enjoying ourselves. They are very kid friendly, staff is all so helpful (one of those places where no matter the server, you're going to have a great experience) and the food is so good! Worst customer service experience. The waitress, Mercedes, was missing for a good 45 minutes before our food came. She never checked in or anything. Then brings us the wrong order. We never received an apology or an explanation for the lack of service or mess up with our order. When we brought up the issues she blamed up and was extremely rude and did not make us feel like our issues were being heard or that they even mattered to her. This past weekend, we stayed at a nearby hotel for a work trip. Luckily this restaurant was walking distance. Everything about this place is very picturesque, bright and happy. This was my last time coming here! My friend and I came here for brunch today and it was terrible. When we arrived we sat down and waited 15 minutes before a server even came to our table. They even all gathered and stared at us debating who would take care of us. We finally got water and was told our server would be right with us. 10 minutes later another server came and asked if we've been helped then proceeded to tell us again our server would be right with us. The server finally came, Erin was her name, and said "you guys ready to order?" She didn't introduce herself, didn't ask us if we've been there before NOTHING. We ordered and our food came pretty quick, however it wasn't even hot, lukewarm at best. We ate and the food was tasty but wish it was warmer. We finished eating and our server took about 5-10 minutes to come back and ask if we wanted the check. In the middle of me talking she walked away. She wasn't nice at all! The worst part is an older couple who came in after us gotten taken care in a way better manner then my friend and I did. It was hurtful to get written off like that. The couple got service, ate their food and left before we even finished our meal. This is the second time my friend and I came to this location and had this experience. We love the downtown location, service is always fast and the food is always great, but with them being under construction we were forced to have to go to the Tempe location to get our chicken and waffle fix. From our table in the corner we could see just about every server, all college aged ladies, standing at the hostess stand talking and not caring for any tables. I had to go to the stand to ask for service. Once our server finally came, she explained that "it's weird here, I never know when I'm seated..." lol. All the servers had their long hair down as well... which needs to be kept in a pony tail for health code reasons so that was also bothersome. Cold brew with oat milk had chunks of oat milk in it and the chicken and waffles was very underwhelming. The waffle was very flat and the chicken was not very crispy. Very disappointing. Manager simply came by and said "we doing okay over here?" Yup, if that's all you expect of your guests as just "okay" then yeah we are fine... we will be waiting for the downtown location to re-open before we give the squeeze another try. read more

I ordered the Frisky Chicken Sandwich with no expectations. - we came mostly for the fun outdoor atmosphere, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the sandwich. The chicken was cut thin giving it great crispness that was well complimented by a sort of spicy aioli.
