Came here a few days after an event. Needed a yummy place for brunch after an obstacle course fundraiser. Came on a midmorning Saturday. I was able to find meter parking nearby. I just came to Morning squeeze for about my 6th visit, each time with a different person or even big group of people, and it's just consistently fantastic. Great location, awesome server energy, and the food is on point! Everything is plated beautifully, but the flavors are absolutely delicious. Can we talk about the $9 Mimosa flight?! These are not small glasses, and you get 3! Everyone I've ever had it with likes the strawberry the best, so my personal taste is one orange 2 strawberry. I'm going to give this one three stars as it might've just been a tough day. My friend and I created a tradition to try a new place whenever she is in town. We had a few breakfast options on our list and chose Morning Squeeze on a very cold blustery October morning which even to my friend felt very cold for Phoenix and she is from Kansas! The interior is very eye-catching, loved the neon green seats which added bursts of color. Our young server was very nice but seemed either not properly trained or overwhelmed by her section and there was only a handful of people at the tables, but her return to her our table took quite a long time to bring us drinks, take our orders, bring us boxes and our check. My friend ordered the bloody mary and was quite disappointed as there wasn't a lick of vodka in it only the taste of the pickle juice and the drink was about $14. She appeared to enjoy the rest of her meal. I had ordered the salmon benedicts and felt they were quite underwhelming and very one note, not a lot of texture and taste but the potatoes were seasoned well. I'm not sure if the menu is enough for me to return for a second visit but I would hope that the service is given a little more training in how to balance tables or perhaps make sure every section is getting equal share. read more

What brought me here was the promise of a mimosa flight. I was not disappointed. Huge glasses, picture this: ball jar jelly glasses, the big ones. Three of those in a little chicken wire basket, how cute. Tasty and strong. I watched them pour and there is only about an inch of juice in each, the rest is alcohol. We order the chilaquiles, got it sent back after a bite because it made me nauseous and the server was made aware, & took the plate from the table by the server. When the bill came, i noticed it was way more than what i had ordered, I still got charged full price for it. I paid in full and asked the server if i got charged and she said yes after i paid. When I opened the box my order was beautiful, it was so hard to close the lid and not eat straight away. Lunch hour comes, I reheat the sauce for 15 sec, no need to reheat anything else. Every bite was so rich! Eggs were cooked perfectly, the chipotle sauce blended wonderfully with the salmon, which they weren't skimpy with either. The potatoes were flavorful and the portion was more than plenty. I forgot to ask for ketchup but they surprised me with a side of ketchup in my bag, I liked that.
