5 stars for Aaron! He provided excellent service from start to finish. He brought out our food and utensils quickly, engaged in great conversation, and truly made sure we were completely taken care of. Thanks for making our visit special!

Brought a bigger party here and it wasn't bad! Pretty quick service, the line did move extremely slowly though. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the new area, and enjoyed our lunch. I had the enchiladas and they had a lot of flavor. I am not the biggest fan of this place previously but my experience at this location might have changed my mind!

What an adorable little restaurant! Flower Garden has such a welcoming atmosphere, and the food was just as wonderful. I ordered the 1924 Wrap, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and something I'd definitely order again. Such a charming spot with great food. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Flower Child is easily one of my favorite restaraunt in the valley. This was my first time going to this location by ASU and wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere was great and decorations were cute. Staff was very friendly! I ordered the tofu with cauliflower rice and roasted broccoli. All of it was good but I've had better broccoli at other locations. I also tried the rose lemonade. That was my 2nd time trying the rose lemonade hoping it would be better than last time, but it still tasted like regular lemonade to me which was disappointing. Be sure to park in the Novus Place parking garage so they can validate your parking.

Finally checked out a Flower Child and I'm a fan! I love the healthy options. I had the enchilada bowl. It had just the right amount of kick. The sauce was delicious. Everything was yummy.

Flower Child is located in the new area at the Novus plaza (across Rural Ave from Trader Joe's). It's a big place with indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. The food is really good, not too big and not too small. Prices seem a little high for what you get. It's good place for Lunch with friends and is big enough seating won't be a problem. It's very clean and new.

Literally everything I've tried at Flower Child is so good! I just wish their portions were a little bigger considering the price.

Really disappointed because I paid for a to-go entree meal that comes with two sides, and only got one side. Found out when I got home. I was really looking forward to getting the kale salad. This was a +$17 meal.

This place was super easy. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you! It's definitely a healthy restaurant and they have a good variety of options. My wrap was okay, not bad, but I don't think I would order it again. There just wasn't a ton of flavor. I was with a group who all ordered other things so I would definitely want to go back and order some other options as many of them really liked their foods.

I was so excited when I heard that flower child was coming to ASU. The dining room and patio are both gorgeous with nice lighting and decor. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the kids meal with steak, quinoa/corn, and broccoli. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. I'm quinoa and corn were also delicious. The broccoli was quite bland, but makes sense for kids! I thought this meal was a very reasonable size for the price. I tried my friend's enchiladas and they were delicious as well!! Overall, i definitely recommend flower child if you're looking for a tasty and healthy place!

We stopped in here for a quick lunch and a had a great experience. We placed our order at the counter and the staff was super friendly and helpful. There were so many great options but we ended up going with the avocado Caesar with chicken and a build your own bowl with chicken, sweet potato, and kale. Once you order you sit down and the staff will bring out your order. Our food came out very fast. We enjoyed our meals and everything was very tasty! Perfect lighter portions for lunch. The inside of the restaurant was very nicely decorated and super clean. When we finished eating the staff came and collected our plates and asked us how our meals were. Would definitely come back and definitely recommend!

We both ordered the BFF sandwich, which is a "crispy breaded and fried fancy mock chick'n with fresh sautéed jalapenos, spicy cheddar, avocado, lettuce, and tomato on a toasty bun, topped with our house-made ranch." It was good, felt like it was missing some flavor as the ranch was overpowering but the jalapeños were pleasantly spicy. We brought family from out of town and had a party of 11 (six adults and five kids). There was a long wait, which we completely understood. We spent the time at the bar where the service was excellent, and the kids browsed the nearby shops. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the experience went downhill. Our server seemed to have little sense of urgency. Everything took an unusually long time, but the biggest issue was the food, which took well over an hour despite being a very simple order of burgers, sandwiches, and other basic menu items. Throughout the wait, we watched tables seated after us receive their food and leave while we were still waiting. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication. Rather than checking in or providing an update, our server was frequently visible chatting with coworkers and rolling silverware. When our food finally arrived, it was at best room temperature, making it seem like it had been sitting for quite a while before being brought to the table. We asked to speak with a manager, who said she would look into it, but never returned to follow up. That lack of acknowledgment or accountability was even more disappointing than the delay itself. We declined the offer of dessert because we needed to get the kids home, yet instead of bringing the check promptly, our server spent additional time clearing the table before finally processing our payment. As someone who has worked as a server, I understand that delays happen and kitchens get backed up. What makes the difference is communication, ownership, and making guests feel like their time matters. None of that happened here. It's unfortunate because we've had good experiences in the past, but this visit left us embarrassed that we chose this restaurant to host visiting family.

I really wanted something with their house made tofu in it, and the oyster soft tofu soup sounded just right for me. It was a bubbling hot concoction served with a bowl of mixed purple and white rice with bits of squash mixed in. The soup was so good! It had a good amount of oyster and the broth was spot on. The tofu was just the right consistency for the soup and tasted great. You can request your spice level and the medium was just right for me. The rice was also really good and well prepared. The banchan we had for lunch were kimchi, marinated cucumber, seaweed, fish cake, and pickled cabbage and beet. The restaurant itself is spacious and we had our pick of seats. The walls in between tables are high enough to allow for privacy. Service was good and we were checked on as needed. I couldn't finish the meal so I took the rest of the soup and rice to go. Come to think of it, I've only been to a few Korean restaurants, two which served Korean corn dogs and the other I ordered a Japanese dish. As I was telling a friend about all this, she suggested we have lunch together at one, and I suggested this spot. I'd been in this complex before and this restaurant is stand alone on the NE corner of Dobson and Main in Mesa. Plenty of parking as we arrived at their opening hour of 11am. We chose a table towards the back and our server brought us water in a reusable bottle and steel cups, pretty cool. There is a QR code on the table to view the menu and a drawer on the end with napkins, spoons, and chopsticks. Never seen anything like that and thought it was clever. The Kpop music playing was a fun touch. I had perused the menu previously and liked that they had a separate vegetarian section. Although I am not vegetarian, I do like to eat it because it helps me avoid pork. I was in between their soup and bibimbap and decided to order the vegetarian tofu hot stone bibimbap ($16.50). Gotta try the tofu as it's in the name, and it's housemade which is neat. Our food did not take long to arrive and they were presented steaming and crackling, love that. My bowl was lovely and had tofu and veggies including sprouts, carrots, and bok choy. The rice on the bottom kept cooking so it became crunchy and delicious. The server brought us hot sauce (gochujang?) and I asked for soy sauce, since there was no sauce or flavor added to my bowl. I did like that it was fresh and healthy, and a good portion. I would've ordered the tofu bibimbap from the regular section since it comes with an egg on top, maybe next time. I was most excited about their banchan and trying the different small dishes. I did like that our server told us all the items in it were vegetarian except the fish cakes, that was helpful. Wondering why there was an empty space in the plate, though. I really enjoyed the fish cakes, the kimchi, and pickled cucumber as the latter two came in a tasty hot sauce. Not a big seaweed fan but it was fine, and the pickled beets/cabbage were on the sweet side but refreshing. We had a nice lunch here and this was a good introduction to Korean food! I'd be interested in trying more items in the future as the appetizers and soups looked appealing.

However, that means I can speak to what's probably their busiest time of the day. The line was long, and there was a sign at the door that offers a discount if you order ahead online. We started to try, but we both wanted to ask questions about menu items so decided to stay in line. There's two areas in the small location, which you could consider more like a food stand that has an indoor area to order. It's VERY small. When you walk in, you're in line to order off the curated menu. If you want to build your own, you don't pay until after, but you have to leave the line and visit the Build Your Own area further into the space. I asked the girl at the register which sauces had dairy in them, and she gave me a wrong answer (per what the man at the BYO counter clarified later, and he gave me the impression he was an owner or manager). It was chaos in there - they were keeping tabs of orders by sticky note and word of mouth at the same time, and when my BYO bowl was done nobody would have noticed if I just walked out without paying. Obviously I paid, but I was concerned for them being that they're on a college campus and students can be reckless. We added those coconut/date energy ball things and sat outside in back. Our bowls were fine and it's definitely a solid cleaner food option - a great thing to have on campus - I would have loved this if I were still in school. The man who I think is an owner or manager actually came out back while we were eating, apologized to every group individually for the wait, and asked how the food is. THAT is why I'm giving this place four stars. I really appreciated the acknowledgement of the craziness and him being so personal with each table, and it ultimately made me happy to return (not during a lunch rush, though. Lol) If I remember correctly, the owners are former students and full of nutritionists/entrepreneurs and I love the concept. Keep going!

For an extra two dollars, they offered a deal where you can get one of their fresh pressed juices. That certainly completed the meal! I like the food because it has just enough flavor without it being overwhelming or over powering. The only thing I would note that is not as positive is the fact that the Brussels sprouts were a little mushy and salty. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The place is clean and the employees are super nice, friendly and will always give me a little extra food! This place is located on College Ave near the ASU campus. I think the value for what you get is pretty good compared to some other places around the area. I do forget about this place since it's a little farther down College Ave but when I do remember, I never regret my decision!
