Great food, great surroundings, friendly and pleasant staff. Authentic, yet modern. Great relatively limited menu that is clear and helpful.

A very small (3 tables) eatery with delicious Moroccan food. We came because of the "where do Moroccan people go when they're homesick and hungry vid". There were limited options and the couscous items are only available on certain days so we couldn't try. The items we did try were delicious! The chicken pastilla was like a chicken baklava lol. The top was sweet like a dessert so if you don't like salty sweet food this may not be for you. The lamb was fall off the bone. Not gaimy and very flavorful. The mint tea was great to balance everything out. I'd def come back to try the other items! Want to note that it's not quite a sit down restaurant and more like a bakery or deli with seats.

Moroccan Bites is one of the most exciting North African eateries in the city and also one of the most pleasant locales for an afternoon cup of tea near Steinway. I came here primarily to try the msemen, similar to other North African flatbreads like Tunisian mlewi, but served sweet with butter and honey. It paired excellently with a cup of the mint tea, which the owner was kind enough to serve for us in the typical "pulled" fashion to aerate the tea. We ordered the vegetarian kosksi (couscous) to go, which was served with a spice-infused brown butter sauce and was absolutely excellent. For good measure, we added the seffa, a subtle and delicate sweet vermicelli-based dish with cinnamon, not dissimilar to couscous-based masfouf.

The food and the service here were amazing. The family who ran this mom and pop shop were so friendly and nice. I got the chicken pastilla and the lamb tajine. I definitely want to come back and try the couscous, I heard great things about it!

We had a company lunch catering by Moroccan Bites by Siham. We ordered lamb shanks, chicken, rice and couscous with veggie/beef. Everything was so delicious. I wish I had a bigger stomach. The food was visually and physically satisfying. Lamb was very tender. It pulled apart when you picked it up. It was marinated and cooked with apricots and prunes. I never knew they go so well together. Couscous was light as clouds. Vegetables and beef were soft and flavorful. Chickens were roasted with skin. Brown glazed skin on top and juicy in the meat. I had a thigh piece. Wonderful cut. Meat was very fresh. The rice was also cooked with many different ingredients with chopped green/red peppers, moist yet light. It is a family owned restaurant. They are nice and friendly. Very helpful. Definitely authentic Moroccan food. The restaurant has great cultural decorations. They also have many desserts options.

Absolutely loved coming to Moroccan Bites! Shoukran bzzf your restaurant is Authentic Moroccan dishes that bring me home to Maghreb! What a beautiful new space as well I love the simple yet exquisite Moroccan designs! It was such a beautiful Iftar with my cousin and I cannot wait to come back for Rfissa Insha'Allah If you visit here, you will love it all Bess7a!

I had an exceptional experience at Moroccan Bite by Siham. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, elegant, and authentically Moroccan. The décor, the music, and the welcoming energy make you feel like you've stepped into a beautiful home in Morocco rather than just a restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of rich, authentic flavors and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. You can taste the tradition in every bite -- perfectly balanced spices, beautifully presented plates, and portions that are both generous and satisfying. It's rare to find Moroccan cuisine done this well. What truly made the experience special was the hospitality. The service was attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire evening feel personal and memorable. Moroccan Bite by Siham is truly a gem. If you want authentic Moroccan food, a beautiful atmosphere, and a dining experience that feels special from beginning to end, this is the place. I will absolutely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for one of the best Moroccan dining experiences around. Fatima

I went to this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and I had a really delicious lunch. Portions were generous and everything was authentic and tasty. I had the Harira soup followed by beef couscous. I met the owners when they came out to check on the customers. I highly recommend this restaurant. The decor was pleasant and very Moroccan.

    Lamb tagia and chicken tagine

The lamb tagia was the best meat I ever had and bread was delicious, beautiful ambience as well. 10/10

    Mint tea

We came here for the gazelle horns cookies, and ordered dinner as well. The lamb tangia was flavorful, and the fish is tender. The fish is good for anyone to enjoy, even those whose teeth cannot manage chewing too much meat. The lamb is served on the bone. The gazelle horns are as authentic as they could be. I'm very glad I found these in NY. The mint tea smells better than it tastes, but the presentation is impressive. The service is a little slow, but they try to do their best on a weekend evening. If they can turn down their music a bit, it would have been perfect.

Came here today for Iftar. Everything was good the service, food and Siham is such a great women welcoming people very sweet and successful, I used to go to her old location she always been very friendly. I highly recommend Moroccan bites by Siham. Also the decoration of her restaurant is just an example of Moroccan culture.

The chicken was all gone so I went with lamb and the beef tagines. Ordered a variety of things and it was great. It was a quite the wait to get to ordering and also serving, maybe 45 minutes? But the food was delicious and will definitely be on the radar for next time we're back ! Got a $100 parking ticket so that wasn't fun ending to the meal

    lamb shank and chicken pastilla

This meal was nothing short of life changing. The food is clearly cooked with love and the staff is very friendly. This place is a must-visit.

I learned that by being resourceful I don't have to pay $300 and up for a wedding cake! I grabbed a ham and cheese croissant and a strawberry soft cream cake. The croissant was actually flaky with a decent butter flavor, not dry or bready like a lot of chain spots. The ham wasn't cheap-tasting either, which I half expected. The strawberry cake was light and not overly sweet, more whipped cream than sugar bomb, which made it easy to finish without feeling gross. Also tried their iced latte. Nothing fancy, but it wasn't burnt or watery, which honestly already puts it above a lot of similar chains. What stands out is consistency. You can walk into almost any location and know exactly what you're getting. Display is always stocked, everything looks clean, and the ordering process is quick even when it's busy. It's not a destination bakery, but that's not the point. It's a reliable, better-than-average stop when you want something quick that still feels a little elevated.

The staff is really nice and easy-going. Also, the young (I think) 2nd Gen owner (very cool seeing the culture carried on) is there a lot. Everything is freshly baked and a good portion. Even the sandwiches and salads in the packaged food case look really good. I've had the custard cream bun, hotdog garlic roll, & a egg, ham & hash brown roll (wasn't a huge fan, the hash brown doesn't stay crispy). I've tried the Portuguese egg tart (Pastel de Nata) & that wasn't so great - reminded me of the egg tarts from Aldi, sweet bland filler custard. The staff can heat the pastries up for you, but it might take at least two rounds for larger items. Highly recommend the round fried rice flour/mochi doughnut, soboro bao (the peanut butter crust-topped bun) & if they have, a coffee/mocha shell-topped bao. You can't go wrong with a Korean chiffon cake slice - not too sweet, and light as air buttercream. Not sure if the strawberry cake is based off of Japanese strawberry (birthday) cake. I've never had their drinks, so don't have a review about them. I don't get the impression that the drinks are the strength of the café. Paris Baguette is a chain from Korea. I think their cafés in Korea are a lot bigger and very nice/comfortable, the US version is a more minimal and quick service kind of set up. For $4 -15 you can get a decent pastry, sandwich, or salad which is a great option for the area, LaGuardia Community College students & hotel guests nearby.

They just opened at the end of April to early May 2022. From the name of this shop, i naturally assumed they only sold pastries. Aside from pastries, and to my surprise, they also sell diner fast food (i.e., burgers, chicken sandwiches, french fries, etc.). I had no idea. The name can throw one off. People would naturally think it's a pastry shop. It's an interesting mix of fast food and pastries. They have a decent selection of sliced cakes/pastries, which include red velvet, creme brulee, strawberry shortcake, and tiramisu. I believe they also prepare large cakes for special occasions like birthdays and weddings. I was really happy with my purchase and would totally return. The place is clean, has seating, and the cashier was really nice. It's also just nice to see more variety of stores opening in this area. The north side of Queens Blvd in LIC is seriously lacking in options. The flavor to the pastries were lite, which i enjoyed because sometimes you just don't want pastries drenched in sugar where it's enough to kill a charging elephant in Africa. It all tasted great and the cream puff with the vanilla filling was to die for! The hot food was really good also. It felt refreshing and not oily at all. I got the banh mi chicken sandwich, along with some appetizers. All were really good. Come check this place out and SUPPORT them!

And cafe is not too loud. Always filled with a good variety of their baked goods and sandwiches. I've had their strawberry round croissant, iced black coffee, Dubai chocolate pizetta, etc. Strawberry round croissant- good level of sweetness, strawberry chocolate layer on top is slightly sweeter than filling but nice cuz its tartness balances it out. Cream inside is also sweet but not overwhelming and pastry got a nice crunch. Would get this again. I've heard from another location's pistachio version of this is very sweet so a bit scared to try, not sure if it's diff per location. Dubai pizzeta - also great!
