It's been probably over a decade since I last had something dry cleaned so after researching a few dry cleaning options close to home, I decided to give Morrell's a try, which turned out to be the best experience! I called the day prior to get an estimate on a specific type of garment and was quoted with a starting price. I dropped the item off the next day and was told it'd be ready for pickup 5 days from drop off which was totally fine since it wasn't a rush cleaning. The gentleman who helped me was polite and quick to get my info into the computer. I was able to quickly setup my payment method on my phone, apply a fantastic coupon and pre-pay for my item. Additionally, my item was ready for pickup 2 or 3 days earlier than anticipated and I was notified via text. Wonderful experience at Morrell's and I'll definitely be back! read more

What a great find! I was needing a same day service and Morrell's was the only one willing to help me. Not only were they the only cleaners willing to help me. They did a fantastic job with the three item's I thought were permanently ruined. The service was fantastic and the young lady helping me at the counter was gracious and kind. I subscribe to the wash fold service because my w/d is in such an inconvenient place at my new house. I have gotten a couple of items that aren't mine back in with my clothes, which makes me wonder if I've lost items? But I haven't noticed so that's on me haha Aaron has been really friendly every time I've interacted with him. His wife was also nice when I talked to her. There was a billing error that couldn't be fixed when I first signed up but it all worked out because I was able to use the credit. I do have some Disney dresses from the dress shop I have gotten dry cleaned there, I do think it's expensive at $30 a dress but they've come out nicely. I also haven't shopped around for prices because I'm sure it's expensive everywhere. Overall, as someone who has used their services a lot, no complaints :) oh also I do really like their website/customer portal. I can track my order and they also put your items in your profile, which is a nice touch. read more

I went to my alterations appointment at another facility, and found blood (attached photo) on my dress, from a mix-up at the boutique I bought it at (they accidentally let someone else try on my dress). They advised me to go to Morell's as quickly as I could, and we ran across town. I explained what happened, they whisked my dress to the back, and 10 minutes later they came back and the stains were gone. I went from a wedding nightmare to a wedding dream, and their care, compassion, and customer service literally brought me to tears. I will only go here for any cleaning needs forever. I brought my favorite dress in for cleaning and pressing, and now will never be able to wear it unless another place can fix what they appear to have ruined. I took it back to give them a chance to remedy the mistakes, but it still doesn't hang right and the collar wasn't even pressed. They charge a lot for poor work. If you hate the garment, give it to them. Otherwise, go elsewhere. read more

I just moved to N Tacoma and needed a long black cape & a dress dry cleaned. I dropped my two items off and the gal said it would be around $30. These items weren't stained or really dirty - I wore the dress to 2 weddings and just wanted the cape cleaned for it to be fresh. Both items were done quickly; however when I picked them up it was $48. I only made the comment "that is really expensive" didn't complain or make a fuss. I paid and left but the more I thought about it the more annoyed I got, especially because it is a good easy convenient location. I know w dry cleaning it is an estimate for cost, but 2 items $50? I'm not happy about that at all and I was a FIRST time customer. I haven't taken the items out of the bags but I'm sure the cleaning was adequate but I am upset about the diff between price quoted and actual. Had the gal told me almost double the estimate I would have made a diff decision. My 2star review is based on that, not the quality of cleaning. read more

Hands down the best/easiest shirt laundry we have ever had. The service is friendly and efficient, and the shirts are done just right, with the appropriate amount of starch. Their app makes it so easy to see where in the process your clothes are and track them all the way. The app even shows the color and make of the garment. If you load a card, they'll charge it and you can just breeze in for a pick up as soon as the app notifIes you via email that your clothes are ready. I never wear red. But wait, the plot thickens.... I had said dress still in the shopping bag, along with a pair of pants, both with the tags attached. When would I unwrap my treasures and use them? *rubs hands* I went to get the dress out...and a cat had pee'd in the bag. On the pants. Which bled on the dress. Wah! Morrell's was able to salvage the pants, and they did the best they could by my pretty, red dress. They had been very meticulous, showing me the extent of the damage and explaining what they could and couldn't do. They didn't charge me for my dress, because they couldn't get all the stains out....but they sure did try! I really appreciated the time and care they took with their work and with me - a woman fated to remain in black no matter what. No cats were harmed in the production of this review. read more

Got a brand new pair of pants you want destroyed? Bring the pants to Morrell's @ Stadium Dry Cleaners. Had my wife take a brand new pair of pants to Morrell's @ Stadium Dry Cleaners to have 3/4 of an inch removed from the bottom. Instead of removing the material, folding it under and sewing like it was originally without a cuff, the genius who altered my pants decided to take a unique approach to shortening the pants. The genius cuffed the pants, then sewed the cuff to the exterior of the pants. So now the pants have an exterior cuff sewn at the top and pressed to hide the cuff (not!) and some crazy handy work on the interior of the pant leg. See the photos I have posted. read more

Absolute worst customer service experience! Dress came back with more creases than it had when dropped off and the manager wants to tell me that's the dress manufacturers fault. If you can't or don't want to press something correctly just stop before you ruin it. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Would never recommend to anyone. Update: Wow! Aaron you made no effort to make it right and were extremely unpleasant to deal with and unbelievably unprofessional! Such a joke. Yes I got my money back but now I have to deal with trying to find someone to fix the issues you caused in the dress now. I love that you want to make this about "some people you just can't make happy". Nope you just offer a subpar service by far. read more

I went to Morrell's because they had a Living Social deal. I had never been there, but wanted to try it. I've been living in Tacoma for ten years now and have yet to find a dry cleaner that I really love. I'm still looking...unfortunately. Morrell's did a really good job of cleaning my items, but the customer service was far less than satisfactory. The younger woman at the counter was not particularly friendly and did not really appear to be happy to have me as a new customer. She was short with me and not forthcoming with information. I've been in sales and customer service for over 25 years and one thing I've learned is that to keep a NEW customer, you want to be sure to treat them right from the beginning. Since she didn't, I won't be going back. At first I thought it was a fluke or she was having a bad day, but when I came back to pick everything up, she treated me the same way that day too. It's too bad she is serving the customers, instead of the woman older than her (owner?) who walked in while I was dropping off my items to be cleaned. That woman was friendly and gave me a big hello as she walked by. Bring her to the counter! Morrell's uses email to communicate with you when your order is ready. I wrote my email down on the form they provided when I dropped everything off. I never got an email to let me know that my items were ready (OR a phone call). When I went to pick up my cleaning (over a week later), I asked about it, since I hadn't been notified that my items were ready. The same young woman helped me and when she looked up my email, she found that it had been inputted incorrectly into their computer. No apology for that, I might add. Or any other sort of apology...or acknowledgment that it might have been a mistake. I have more details to how mediocre my customer service was...but no more time to do so. Suffice to say, I will be taking my dry cleaning biz elsewhere. read more

This is a dry cleaner located near the Thriftway. Overall, I have been very satisfied with the work they do. My clothes are always well pressed with crisp lines and done on time. The staff is polite. I had one pair of pants I asked them to re-hem because of an issue I had with the work, and they did it over again for no charge. My only complaint is that they are a tad more expensive than other dry cleaners, but they are conveniently located for me. They send coupons so give them your e-mail. They send them pretty infrequently, and the ones I have gotten, I haven't been able to use (like the coupon for blankets). read more

I came to Morrells after my mom recommended them. I needed some of the wrinkles (at the bottom) taken from a dress for a wedding. I was quoted $16 and charged $26.70 at pick up. They told me I was quoted wrong. Had I know that price, I would've gone else where. No support in honoring the price or offering a future discount. I will not be coming back. read more

People ask me all the time which dry cleaner I'd recommend. I grew up as the daughter of a dry cleaner (sadly, I'm over 100 miles away from my dad's cleaners). My friends know: I am THE MOST picky dry cleaning customer ever! I've shopped around a lot over the years, and am pleased to find a cleaners I love. This is why I love Morrell's: they don't write in your clothes (THANK YOU!) and your clothing won't smell like funky-chemicals (YES!). I love their customer service and hard-working ethics. I also know paying for dry cleaning is pricy, but I'm also super picky and prefer the above mentioned. The easy drop off (through the slot) is great and they provide customers with bags (just like my dad does at his cleaners). I like how they use your name at drop off/pick up (instead of a number or phone number) and they get to know customers personally. I like their emails. I like how there's assigned parking spots for customers, as the lot gets very busy. Going to Morrell's for me is like going home: it's comforting knowing they are handling your fabrics with care. read more

Great little shop to drop off your dry cleaning. I've brought many items here and never had a problem. They send out 'insider' coupons by email if you like that sort of thing. Months ago I had a dress I wanted taken in. I was told the cost would be $50. When I came in to get it I realized the seamstress had not taken it in as much as I had requested. She agreed to fix it. She did not have it ready by the time we were ready to leave for our trip, so that was lost. When I came to get it later, the bill had gone up to over $70! When I talked with Linda, she told me it was my fault: "you should have asked about the price!" No, I don't think so - it never occurred to me that it would go up to simply fix it the way I wanted it in the first place. We will NEVER go back. I have gone to Morrell's for 7 years (and my husband for much longer than that) but we will not go back. Besides, we learned there is a green dry cleaner in Proctor. My fiance had his suit jacket cleaned and a stain on it hadn't been taken out, but we were still charged for their "work." Pros: They tag your clothes with a bar code sticker, and don't write on your clothing with sharpie or drill plastic tag hangers through your coat tags. They have never missed a beat on my clothing. Cons: A bit expensive and not particularly fast, unless you ask for a quick turnaround. read more

I love these guys! On several occasions I gave them short notice on a same day service. They were able to come through for me every-time. Granted they didn't give me a light starch on my dress shirt. But where everyone else told me it wasn't possible they succeeded. Not to mention they are pleasant people too and for that I give them five stars! read more

I had a wedding to get to and waited until the last 2 1/2 hours to dig out my dress pants which I hadn't worn in about two years. They were very wrinkled. I drove to Morrells not long before they were trying to close for the night. After explaining my circumstances they immediately pressed my pants. I was prepared to pay top dollar or at least leave a hefty tip but the employee refused any payment and said it was on the house. Reasonable Price and very accommodating. I am not a regular at this place by any means. I go in today because I really needed to dry clean some shirts for a series of important interviews. They initially told me about 2 days and once I explained my situation they were able to pull some strings and get them done in 24 hours, with out an extra charge. This is a fine example of a small business going above and beyond to help a person out and make you feel welcome in a community of small business. I appreciate and value what they did for me. Currently serving in the United States Navy. For those of you that don't know, dress white uniforms for the navy are extremely hard to maintain. I.e wrinkling, stains, etc. I took my uniform into Morrell's, 2 days later it was ready. When I took them out of the plastic, they looked immaculate! Every crease, down to the small stains from shoes or weather was gone! I want to thank Morrell's for their fantastic work and making me look great for a huge inspection!
