The lobster rolls here are 10/10 delicious! I had the Maine Style Lobster Roll, which is tossed in light mayo and butter with celery, lemon, and chives. They don't skimp on the chunks of fresh lobster. The roll is perfectly toasted, buttery, soft, and fluffy. Together with the lobster, you get a tangy, sweet, meaty sandwich packed with flavor. I also had a side of house made slaw and seasoned flat fries. The slaw has apples and a light vinaigrette that goes nicely with the rich roll. The fries are super crispy onthe outside and soft inside. I've never had fries like these anywhere else and I will be dreaming about them. This cute food truck is located near the water along the Embarcadero. There is plenty of outdoor seating (but not much shade). The people who run the truck are super friendly and inviting. My experience here was really great and I can't wait for my next visit to Morro Bay. read more

One of the best lobster rolls I've had. They are efficient and honest with their order/wait time situation. So, they will pause taking orders to catch up - and personally, I prefer that vs. someone taking my order and feeling like I'm Waiting "too long". They have two lobster roll options (we went with the Maine). It was dressed perfectly, had great seasoning and was very a generous portion. We also tried the CA shrimp roll, which had similar dressing/seasoning and was just as tasty. They also have slaw or "flat fries" option, which we opted for and they were so good! We went to the Morro Bay Lobster Truck yesterday, and it was SO good that we had to come back again today! Today we finished our first lobster sandwich and immediately decided we needed to try the other one too. We had both the Maine and the Connecticut lobster sandwiches, and they were both absolutely incredible. Fresh, delicious, and loaded with flavor -- I honestly couldn't tell you which one I liked better! The people working there are also incredibly friendly and make the whole experience even better. I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want everyone finding out about this place and making the lines longer -- but they absolutely deserve the recognition. The best lobster roll I had previously was in Boston, but this one surpassed it. The lobster was fresh and juicy, and the roll was perfectly toasted. I would also highly recommend the fries. The surrounding area is clean and there are picnic tables, restrooms nearby and a dedicated parking lot, although it can get pretty crowded.
