Stopped in for a quick meal and was really impressed! The cashier was warm and friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. We ordered the carne asada burrito, a cheese quesadilla, and an al pastor taco. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The carne asada burrito was excellent, and the quesadilla came loaded with sour cream, lettuce, and tomato on the side, which was a nice touch. The al pastor taco was also delicious. Feels like a SoCal hole in the wall. Cheap, good is good, not fancy. It is cheap! I don't get sick after eating there, always a plus. I'm not into the Asada there, just plain pieces of beef. Stopped in for a carnitas taco and a Carne Asada taco. When the food was placed down on the table, I could smell an off smell and the meat looked visibly old. The Carnitas was edible but old and the carne asada meat was mealy and old...inedible. Despite being very hungry, I threw away the Carne Asada taco. I ordered a chicken burrito. I thought it was delicious - reminding me of Robertos in San Diego. My son who ordered the same just thought it was OK. My wife wanted fish tacos but they were out. A friend who frequents this place recommended it to me. She described it as a small, unassuming spot with incredible food. After a long day in Morro, we decided to bring the boys here for a meal. The place was packed and very small, with a line out the door--a good sign of its popularity. Despite the busyness, the girl at the register was very friendly. We ordered three different kinds of tacos, an Asada burrito, a lengua wet burrito, and a bean burrito. The tacos were a bit dry, so my family might not order them again. The boys enjoyed the burritos, and I had a basic bean and cheese burrito, but only a few bites since I wasn't very hungry. Two years since the original review, wow. My go to is the Carnitas burrito wet, they put some shredded lettuce, avocado, sour cream, and a half slice of tomato. I love it and for $10 its a deal. Some mornings I'll go for a breakfast burrito which hasn't disappointed me yet. The good is pretty good, though not great. The interior is small, with no music playing, so the atmosphere feels a little awkward. For ice in your soda, you have to scoop it out from an ice machine by the soda machine (easy to miss that it's there). The restroom is around the back of the building. It was in good condition when I went in, in terms of cleanliness, although there was a lot of graffiti. The mural on the outside of the building is cool, worth checking out just for itself. I'd order food here again, but only for takeout, and not very often. read more

I travel for work, and had to stay in Morro Bay twice already, about a month apart. Both times I stayed the night, I ordered take out from this place. I don't have any issues with the food, first time I ordered Adobada Wet Burrito, I didn't fall in love with it, but yesterday I ordered Asada Wet Burrito, it really hit the spot. Seemed normal sized to me, I see other people complaining about the size; perhaps they went back to normal sized burritos. The location seems nice, a bit small, but looks clean and seems busy, which is always a good sign. Since Ive been driving all day, I'm tired and all, this place is located very conveniently for me, and parking is a breeze. I appreciate that. My one big issue, is one of the ladies, was pretty frustrated, and it showed, even thou she was trying to keep it cool I guess. She didn't give me a receipt as I paid, when I requested it, she said that I should have told her before I pay. ??? How would I know, she wasn't nice. But the food was pretty good so I'm definitely coming back here. And please, offer utensils for to take out orders. I got to my hotel room and realized there are NO UTENSILS for a WET BURRITO!!!
