Not just carpets! Much more! Mortenson & Son just cleaned my home in preparation for putting it on the market for sale. They cleaned the carpets and the tile floors carefully and thoroughly. The windows now sparkle as they also cleaned all of those....including the screens and tracks. AND, they wiped down the entire house with special attention to the details in the kitchen and the bathrooms. I was relieved to have them do the details. They cleaned the carpet in the townhouse that we are moving into this weekend. Evidently there were stains in the carpet that other cleaning companies could not get out according to the owner. The guys were on time, very polite and did an amazing job! The presprayed the areas where I knew my pets had urinated on the carpet and all of the smell and stains were completely removed. I had a similar experience to Alma M. Workers arrived on time and were friendly and quick. However, after the carpet dried, it was dirtier than before it was 'cleaned'. It appeared the dirty water was not vacuumed up. I phoned to have them return and was told that my grandchildren were probably at fault. Really? They are infants so no way is that true. I phoned another company to re-clean the entire house and now my carpets look new again. read more

Doug and his crew did an outstanding job cleaning the carpet in my parent's home. My parents are senior citizens whose health has caused their carpet to become neglected and in serious need of spot cleaning. Doug arrived exactly when he said he would come and amazingly was able to get all spots out and make the carpet look like new!! In addition, he threw in a spot cleaning of the sofa AND gave us the senior discount!! He was efficient, knowledgeable and compassionate about the circumstances with my parents. His great work not only brightened up the room my folks spend most of their time in but added to their quality of life by making the place feel clean and inviting again. We had several braided area rugs cleaned by Mortensen and Sons at the end of October. Worked with Doug to arrange for pickup. He quoted a price and I was surprised as it was so much more reasonable than the company I used three years ago. Doug told me when the rugs would be picked up and when they would be returned. The rugs are 19 years old and came back looking close to new. Although I wasn't sure what the quality of work would be, I told a friend about the company and she used them and was extremely pleased with whole process. My neighbor is very involved in the community and provided Doug as a reference many years back. I have used them for carpets, windows, floors, upholstery and tile surfaces. They have always been incredibly professional and their work excellent. Doug's foreman Vidal is the best. Doug has always worked with me on scheduling and when something happens where I spill coffee after they have come and gone, he comes right back and cleans up my mess. I was actually surprised to see any negative comments on yelp, difficult to say why some people are unhappy. I have been working with Doug, Vidal and Crew for probably 15 years or more and have never once had a problem. One thing I will never forget was his kindness in a non-cleaning related situation. My husband had just undergone back surgery and I could not turn our king mattress, calling a moving company would have been outrageously expensive so I took a shot and called Doug, and he offered to help us.
