Every single moment was spot on and made the whole evening an experience. Lighting is low and romantic. Our server, Chris, was amazing and attentive. The food was delicious. They do have a dress code. It's upscale without being stuffy. Our fave! They have a nice wine and cocktail list, plus there are wine bottle specials. A fantastic warm bread was brought out to start. It's an egg and onion loaf made exclusively for Morton's...so yummy! We shared our whole meal, so the portions in the pics are half. I attended a business dinner here so I was with a large group seated in a private room. There was characteristic steakhouse ambiance with dark wood and warm colors, complete with dim lighting that had the more senior members of the group breaking out the cell phone flashlights to read the menu. The service was impeccable. Our two servers were quick with helpful suggestions and answered every menu question in great detail. The food was good. We had several appetizers - scallops, crab, seared tuna - and all were fresh and tasty. The salads were huge and our servers had advised us that splitting them was a good option, so we did and they were dead on. My New York Strip was a bit disappointing. The meat quality was good but not great, and it was cooked medium instead of medium rare as ordered. So let me tell you.... 1st time visiting Morton's and Oh My Goodness!!! The Atmosphere was Absolutely Incredible and so peaceful and the mood felt romantic.. The waiter Jordan was incredible and very educated in his knowledge on the menu. He was very friendly, definitely kind hearted and giggling with us at our silly conversation. We attended this establishment for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night. We got a little lost trying to get to the restaurant and had to ask for directions quite a few times. When we arrived, it took some time for our waitress to get to us (even though we had an early reservation to try to beat the crowd). We weren't served drinks until about 45 minutes after we sat down. They offered a Mother's Day special, which included a soup or salad, a steak, a crab cake with shrimp or a lobster tail. Each steak has an offering of sauce, which I chose the garlic butter. My steak was very bland and NEEDED the garlic butter to give it some kind of taste. My lobster was chewy in the middle and I was not able to eat it. In the end, we ordered a carrot cake to celebrate the birthday girl. The ambiance was very elegant. Before we left for the evening, we stopped at the restroom, which only had one stall, so we had to stand in line for a while. The wife and I had dinner here Tuesday March 3rd she got the Fillet and I had the chicken Christopher. My dish was very good, she asked them to butterfly the fillet and cook it medium since it was really thick, it came out whole and medium which means the inside is raw so we asked them to put it back on the grill, instead they put it in a microwave now the steak is medium well. For the prices they charge there should not be a microwave on the premises. Wait staff were very polite and the decor was very nice. They split the order in the kitchen which was nice. For a high end steakhouse the salad was disappointing, about the same as any fast casual place, over dressed with bottled dressing with croutons and Parmesan cheese from a bag. We decided to split the Creaser salad between the two of us. One per person was too much with all the other sized portions.
