    Petite crab cakes-delicious!
    Sylvia C.

I have not been to Morton's steakhouse in probably 20 to 25 years. I discovered that I had a couple of gift certificates worth $80 so I thought I would give it a whirl. I'm really glad that I did. I met a girlfriend there for happy hour, and we shared an array of different appetizers. The fried chicken sliders were my favorite. I loved how spicy they were and they were just enough it came three to an order. I also ordered the filet mignon petite sandwiches. Those weren't my favorite because I think they needed something like a horseradish sauce or some type of crunch or texture on there. Not sure that I would order those again. We also ordered the tacos and those were very good. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I ordered the petite crabcakes and those were very tasty. They have a thing called the power hour, which is their version of happy hour until 630. My wine was 9 ounces for $12 so that's a great bargain. I really enjoy the happy hour and I think I will definitely come back. We sat at the bar and our service was outstanding. I thoroughly recommend Morton's for a very good happy hour. Lastly, I loved the fries! Oh yeah, one more, the bathroom was quite disappointing. When you go to a fine dining establishment you expect more attention to detail, that includes details to the ladies restroom. The latch on the stall was broken and the ambiance was just lacking.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Morton's Steak House. Even arriving a few minutes early, we were seated right away. We started with seasonal martinis--delicious--and a half order of oysters that were perfectly cold and full of flavor. Everyone enjoyed a salad or soup before the main course. The chopped house and Greek salads were fresh and hearty, and the Caesar was spot on. For entrées, the A-5 Wagyu was outstanding, and my filet mignon with truffle butter truly melted in your mouth. I added grilled shrimp for a perfect surf and turf. Others ordered the salmon and lobster ravioli with no complaints. We paired everything with a Louis Martini Gryphon Cabernet Sauvignon, and the service was superb and friendly. We never felt rushed, even as the restaurant filled up. A fantastic evening all around.

Went to Morton's Bubbles and Bites event. I'm so glad I went as I really enjoyed my dinner. It was a very nice special that included a glass of Veuve Clicquot, 2 beef sliders and truffle fries and boy did I enjoy myself. You had to sit in the bar to get the special but that was perfectly fine with me. My server Robert was awesome, he was very friendly and attentive. The meal was very tasty and filling. The vibe in the bar was relaxing and upbeat at the same time. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and I myself had a great time!

We dined at Morton's for AZ Restaurant Week, and we had a good experience. There's a ton of parking out front, which is always a plus. For restaurant week, they had some great options for $55 per person. We started with lavender cosmo's, Wagyu meatballs, and dumplings. The flavors were delicious, but the items were cold and needed to be reheated. The complimentary onion bread was absolutely delicious, and we dipped it in the marinara sauce from the meatballs. For dinner, we had lobster ravioli, salmon, cream spinach, and corn. Both entrees were hot, fresh, and flavorful. We also had the key lime pie for dessert. Despite the temperature of the appetizers, everything was delightful!

This is actually one of my favorite steakhouses. The sea bass is so yummy as well as their salad with apples candies walnuts with goat cheese. Service was very quick and attentive. The overall restaurant is a little bit dark inside, but for a steakhouse is not quite as busy or crazy feeling as others. This seems to be a hidden gem for a steakhouse and actually has become one of my more favorite spots to go for a celebration

We decided to go for Restaurant Week. What a great experience! Shawn, our server, made sure we wanted for nothing. My beautiful bride ordered Caesar salad, lobster ravioli, and expresso pot de crème for desert. I ordered the french onion soup, the 8 oz filet, and key lime pie for desert. Our sides were creamed spinach and the smoked gouda au gratin potatoes. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious. I never felt rushed throughout the entire meal. Highly recommend!

They have easy Handicap parking. I had a reservation. Service was wonderful. 5 stars. I had the bacon steak as a app and the Chicken Christopher. The steak bacon was good wish it was a little more sweet flavor. Chicken was good came with a piece of broccoli . I would definitely come back

We had found some gift cards for a Landry property so we thought we'd try out Morton's. Morton's used to be one of Chicago's best steakhouses. Since we only had $50 we thought we'd try their happy hour. It was average at best and sadly not up to Morton's of back in the day. I had the go to for most steakhouse happy hours. The hamburger. But not just any hamburger here. It's a fake wagyu burger which should be better than your regular burger. It wasn't, it was kinda dry and not very flavorful. Their fries are shoestring but kinda blah. I also had the French Onion Soup. For $12 or maybe it was even $14 it was truly disappointing. It totally lacked any flavor or seasoning. The cheese was as bland as can be. Hard pass on this one. My wife had a shrimp thing. Those shrimp you see in the picture are actually slit in half so you're only getting 2 shrimp, not 4. They were ok but not worth the price. Overall pretty disappointing. The service was very good and the staff was very attentive. As for the ambiance. Standard steakhouse decorations. We found another $50 gift cards so maybe one more try or Rainforest Cafe.

I hate to blow up the spot... but if you want the best food and service, this is the place. Been going there for years and always first rate service.

My cocktail was the best part about this steakhouse. Cucumber martini was superb. They made sure to acknowledge my birthday that was noted in the reservation. I will definitely come back and celebrate more occasions! The lighting was a little too bright for a steakhouse but that's the only suggestion I would bring. Thank you Morton's

For the prices - the food is pretty basic. Could opt out for Outback Steakhouse, save some $$ and eat nearly the same thing.

Where things really took a turn was the food. I was so hoping I found a new staple in our walkable restaurants list but the food was mostly disappointing. We liked our fairly standard French onion soup and Caesar salad. The shrimp cocktail were not good at all. Shrimp was tough and mealy. They marinate them with a bunch of herbs. Maybe that caused the unpleasant texture? On top of that, I did not like the herbs used in the marinade. Good shrimp cocktail stands on its own! I should also add that these were $7/each. A week later I had the most amazing shrimp cocktail - tender and sweet and almost double the size for $4/each. I don't mind paying $7. I've paid $13 each for good shrimp cocktail. Just a lot of money to spend on something so disappointing. Our sea bass was also tough. Flavor was okay. The piece was fairly thin - possibly why it was overcooked? For those who love sea bass, I suggest checking it out at SumoMaya or Dominick's. Can't be beat! Sadly, I don't think we'll be back. Too many other excellent options nearby.

The restaurant ambiance is classy yet relaxed, not overly stuffy, but visually clean and inviting,…read morelike you feel better about yourself when walking in somehow. You know you are in for a true fine dining experience. We started off with some cocktails and I was very impressed with the clear ice cube in my Smokey Old Fashioned as it was branded with the "Toro" logo. It was so smooth and probably the best Old Fashioned I ever had, so I had 3 more! My wife throughly enjoyed her Espresso Martinis also. I started off with the Grilled Octopus and nearly cried because it was so good. This is a food favorite of mine and although I love the flavors, most restaurants over cook it and you need to cut it with a steak knife. Not this dish, no knife necessary, your fork will do. So tender, so flavorful, so amazingly delicious. The Mrs. ordered the crispy calamari and was thoroughly impressed as the texture was what fresh calamari should be and not the rubbery texture you get from 8 out of 10 other places. Seasoned to perfection with spices but not overly spicy. My wife can't bear spicy anymore , but she really enjoyed it. I finished it for her of course, because she always remembers to leave room for desert and never finishes anything. And I'm glad because I always get to taste her meals too. It's a win-win for me! I then had an off-the-hook Ceviches that rivaled my own. I am also a part-time cook and also wrote a cookbook. Ceviche is a particular dish that I compare to other restaurants and until now, never found another place that compares to mine. Toro doesn't disappoint my friends. Now for the entrée, Lomo Saltado for myself and a medium rare Ribeye for the Mrs. The Lomo Saltado was beef tenderloin on creamy rice, crispy potato, heirloom tomato, bell peppers, Rocoto Aioli and a Chifa Soy Sauce. It was mouth watering. The beef tenderloin was cooked a little on the well done side, but my bad for not specifying to cook it medium rare. It was still amazing and not a big enough deal to even mention it in the review, but I just want you to specify your preference when you order yours. My wife had the 14 Oz. Ribeye, medium rare ( she thought it was also medium but I found it to be medium rare myself) it was soooo good. She had a side dish of Crispy Brussels sprouts that were unworldy. We never had Brussels sprouts that good, it must be the sherry vinagrette and cotija cheese. Unreal. I had a side of shishito peppers that made my heart happy. My favorite peppers are not usually available everywhere so it was a real bonus to the meal. Desert, well the desert was worth the wait. We both ordered the Ube Basque Cheesecake. It is a dark purple colored slice of heaven with masa crumble, Yuzu espuma and coconut jam. The presentation was stunning. We even enjoyed espresso with sambucca to finish our dining experience. How many places offer espresso on their menu just to inform you the espresso machine isn't working? Just another bonus for us. Price wise, what you would expect for a high-end restaurant in a beautiful resort area of Scottsdale, no sticker shock there, but still, I'd save this place as a never can fail go to for a first date, anniversary, job promotion, marriage proposal, special occasion restaurant. They also do breakfast, brunch, lunch and Happy Hour. I hope you get to experience this place at least once. Put it on your bucket list, you'll be glad you did!

The service was top tier. I wish customer service like this existed everywhere. Hannah was outstanding. She was welcoming, attentive, and helped make our night even more enjoyable. She didn't linger but somehow always knew when to check back on us as soon as we needed something. We're always weary of trying out a new restaurant for the first time but dinner was spectacular. Everything we ordered was so delicious and cooked to delectable perfection. High compliments to the chef! Appetizer: Warm Bread Basket - A must have! The bread was so scrumptious that it doesn't even need the delicious whipped butter. But the butter was so amazing it was hard not to smother every morsel of bread with it. Fantastic appetizer option. Entrees: 1/2lb Dutch Harbor King Crab Legs - Served with perfectly cooked asparagus, potatoes, and the usual side of melted butter. My wife said the butter that the crab is cooked in/served with was so phenomenal that she didn't have the need to dip into the side butter. I chose this restaurant because my wife loves crab legs and these absolutely delivered. The meat was sweet and succulent, and most importantly, they tasted fresh! Filet Mignon (8oz) - Delicious and perfectly seasoned! Exactly cooked how my wife ordered it and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Willow Bend Lamb - I can't rave enough about how exquisite this was. I was worried the chops were going to be too large but the portion size was spot on to my liking. The roasted garlic thyme jus it's served with is rich, savory, and a great compliment to the tender and juicy chop. I would order this again and again. Sides: Parmesan Truffle Fries and Smoked Gouda Tater Tots - It's hard to mess up a potato but somehow Ocean Prime was able to make it even more delicious. The fries had a perfect balance of crisp and tender, and the parmesan truffle flavor was the cherry on top. Wonderful aftertaste and surprisingly pairs well with crab legs. The tots had a perfect crisp exterior and a fluffy inside. The offerings are generous so 1 side would suffice for 2 people. Every bite was scrumptious and a definite recommend for the table. Cocktails: My wife also had the Berries & Bubbles cocktail. Well, it was so yummy that she had 2 of them. I had a sip and although I'm not a vodka fan, I can attest that it was indeed yummy. The dry ice is a nice touch and adds to the beauty and appeal of this drink. The drink is poured at the table (Hannah is clearly a pro at it). It was like a dinner and a show! Dessert: We were offered to choose a dessert on-the-house to celebrate my birthday. We ordered the Warm Butter Cake for the table and a Chocolate Torte to go. Hannah was kind enough to comp both of them for us! The Warm Butter Cake was AMAZING! From the delicious ice cream served on top to the gooey buttery velvety center of the cake with a perfectly crisped edge, it was everything you'd want in a dessert and more. I'm sure it's the star of the dessert menu. I've yet to make it to the torte but I've no doubt I'll be swimming in chocolatey goodness when I do. Lastly, I had flowers delivered to the restaurant to surprise my wife, and I asked if they would please have them set at the table prior to our arrival. They were able to receive the delivery before opening time and were placed perfectly in the middle of our table (booth seating). I'm so grateful for how they accommodated my request and helped me execute a wonderful surprise that gained a beautiful smile from my wife. 10/10 experience. Five stars all across the board. Worth every dollar spent. I highly recommend Ocean Prime for any and all events, or if you're simply just looking for a delicious meal.

We chose Ocean Prime for our Father's Day dinner and left with mixed feelings…read more The food was hit or miss. The Caesar salad was very good, and the crab cake was excellent--easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the scallops were disappointing, arriving cold and noticeably tough. On the positive side, the carrot cake was outstanding and a great way to end the evening. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet during our early dinner reservation, so we expected attentive service. Instead, the service was slow and inattentive throughout the meal, which was disappointing given the restaurant's reputation and pricing. Overall, there were some bright spots, but the inconsistent food quality and poor service made for an underwhelming Father's Day experience.

Words don't do this place justice!…read more The service was so on point and they all work as a team. Multiple people will check on you, clear the table, and refill anything you need. The overall place is super cute, quaint, and not loud so you can actually hear your table conversation. The food....delicious! I'll start off by saying those OYSTER BITES are money! My friend and I ordered multiple and I would have ordered more if we didn't have a place to be afterwards. I'm definitely ordering this every single time. The Tuna carpaccio was to die for, I would order this every time! The Lobster croissant was interesting, the lobster itself was so juicy and buttery, I didn't care much for the croissant or shrimp on it. The caviar chips were good but I wouldn't order them again, it was more chips than anything else. The drinks were sooooo good! If you don't know what to order the staff is very knowledgeable and can help guide you. A message for the owners: I absolutely love the concept! You two are extraordinary and I hope you don't change a thing at either of your restaurants. All of them are fantastic. The quality of food is outstanding and the way you train your staff is beyond amazing.

Was here mid-week in August. Server was Tanner…read more First, the thing I like about this place (and Humble Bistro to a lesser extent) is that when I walk in I don't feel like I am in a suburban mall restaurant in Phoenix. It feels fresh, clean and really represents itself as a seafood place. The menu is heavier on seafood and lighter on fish, which is OK. good assortment of non-water proteins as well. Nice wine list with bottles and glasses at multiple price points. Service was good. Tanner handled a bit of confusion on an oyster order like a pro. A bit more attention would have been nice; clearing plates, filling water, etc. But overall, solid service. Food was interesting. Oysters were fresh tasting and served with several toppers. Not certain I liked the plastic cups and mini wooden ladle, but the flavors were there. Lobster bisque was a bit thick for my taste, but my better half thought it was great. Flavor was rich and satisfying. Last, the lobster and shrimp roll was too deconstructed. The lobster was dumped on top of an uncut croissant. You couldn't really eat it like a roll unless you scraped off the meat, picked up the damp croissant, cut it and then restuffed the lobster and shrimp inside. Too dang much work. While the flavor was good, this is not something I would order again unless they were willing to split in in the kitchen and turn it into a proper lobster and shrimp roll. Would absolutely go again, but you are now warned about the roll.
