Stopped by Yard House on Christmas Eve for some quick bites during happy hour before heading to a Christmas light show, and it was the perfect choice. We joined the waitlist online ahead of time and were seated immediately when we walked in--such a great perk, especially on a busy holiday. We ordered food through the kiosk, and our waiter came by to take our drink orders, which made everything super easy and efficient. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the happy hour menu at Yard House is one of the best for food and apps. The number of half-price appetizer options is honestly dangerous--in the best way. We went a little wild and ordered around 10 (maybe even 12?) dishes for six people. Way too much food... but no regrets. We even had leftovers, and the total was still under $100, which is kind of amazing. The poke nachos are always a standout and a must-order. Overall, Yard House is such a solid happy hour spot--great value, tons of options, and I really appreciate that they have a parking lot. I hate street parking, so that alone is a win for me. Will definitely keep coming back for happy hour.

Corporate won't allow for mobile certified IDs, in today's day and age... a digital world, where you accept Apple Pay..... perhaps you would be interested in considering real IDs moving forward. Very disappointing. Solid pretzel.

3.5/5 Yard House is a Darden restaurant so if you have some gift cards to use up, it's an OK place to use them. They are known for their wide selection of draft beer but they do have a good selection of spirits, mocktails and low proof drinks. We got here around 5 on a Friday and it was already quite busy. They offer a happy hour with discounted drinks and appetizers so we got the blackened ahi sashimi, Gardein wings, and I tried the kish and tell cocktail. For a main course I had the lobster garlic noodles with a side of kale and romaine Caesar salad. I liked the flavors of the ahi sashimi but I'd probably pass on the Gardein wings for next time. As a meat alternative it's OK but there are better faux chicken options out there. The kish and tell cocktail is made with kish shine soju, cranberry, lychee purée, and lime juice. I definitely got a buzz from the drink and it had a good balance of sweet and tart flavors. For happy hour this drink and others like it are $2 off. While there was an ample amount of lobster in the noodles, the sauce was way too salty for me. I couldn't eat all of it because of the salt level. The side salad was much more enjoyable. It was a very generous portion and the combination of roasted brussels sprouts, pistachios, raisins, baby tomatoes, and parmesan worked well together. Service was very friendly and our server was helpful at answering any questions we had about the menu.

Went to Yard House right after the game it was a bit busy but we got a table after about 5 minutes. I love coming here, food is always yummy. It's in a shopping mall so you can go out and shop before or after eating here :) We requested garlic aioli on our burger instead of horseradish aioli due to not liking horseradish and our server made it possible!

We go to Yard House a lot because the menu has something for everyone. We usually eat there before we go to the movies at AMC since it's so close. Our favorites are the Poke Nachos, Shiitake Garlic Noodles, Parmesan Truffle Fries, Turkey Club, Truffle Mushroom Pizza, and the Ahi Tuna Crunchy Salad. All of these are so good!! You can order the Ahi Salad in a lunch portion or dinner size. The lunch size to me is large enough to be a dinner size. They have a good Kids menu, my kids like the Cheeseburger Sliders, Pizza, and Mac and Cheese. They also have the tablets on the table the kids can use to play games, which is great and keeps them entertained. Yard House has a bunch of gluten free options on the menu. They also have a good happy hour from 3-6, half off certain appetizers, half off pizzas, and drink specials. I enjoy sitting on their patio better than inside. The inside for me is very dark and sometimes the hoppy smell from the kegs is very strong. Service is usually good and they have always been accommodating to reservations of larger groups.

Tacos were amazing! Flavor and the portions were more than expected. Presentation was on point.

A fun Mexican (green/white/red) pair of gorditas with a very small amount of beans and rice, mostly sauce. Was overpriced :(

10/10/2025 Update: Finally got our half yard! Jeez!! I was told they default to a mug you have to specify half yard, though some server girl came to our table by accident trying to give us one with a tag we already had LOL. The burgers were great, and the bill didn't break the bank this time thanks to our tag for $5 half yard (32oz). Too bad we can't use in in November when my mom visits us. Thank you. $25.00/person (including tip) Nice atmosphere though a little loud (was a Friday night) Waitress was courteous, respectful, and attentive Original Review 9/2025: Way too overpriced otherwise would've been 5 stars! They need to bring things down a little. Thank you. $47.50/person (including tip) Nice atmosphere Waiters need to explain deals better (ie the stein deal having a limited period of use)

Lots of choices, great food, plenty of seating. Came here after watching F1 (good movie BTW) for a little bite after loads of & . Chicken tortilla soup was thick(love that) but very salty, good chunks of chicken. Orange chicken is always . Service is good.

Yard House is an excellent option if you aren't sure what exactly you're in the mood to eat - they have a huge variety of options! From poke to burgers to American apps. We walked in on a Friday afternoon and were seated immediately. Ambience was casual, it was busy but not overly loud. Our server was attentive and friendly, and his drop by's were perfectly timed. We paid using the kiosk on the table which made it super easy. I ordered the grilled chicken & avocado sandwich with fries (side of ranch, obviously) and it was delicious. My cousin got the burger lettuce wrapped and said it was so good. Desert Ridge is surrounded by shops and has a ton of parking too which is convenient.

Happy hour is the best here at Yard House! Happy Hour is M-F from 3-6 PM, and includes most appetizers and pizzas at 50% off. We came here for Happy Hour on Memorial Day, and we waited about 15-20 minutes for a booth. Our server was amazing! Her name was Emily M. and she constantly checked up on us and refilled our water. She was so sweet and definitely enhanced our overall experience. Everything we ordered was off of the Happy Hour menu: poke nachos, chicken nachos, boneless wings, fried calamari, carnivore pizza, and truffle mushroom pizza. Everything came out fairly quickly and was so delicious. We always have great experiences at Yard House, it's definitely a great place to go with family or friends. The menu is extensive and there is always something for everyone.

Olive Garden is to the older generations what Yardhouse is to us Millennials. In an age of trendy new spots it's one chain that I'll repeat visiting. It's classic, reliable, and everyone leaves happy. The menu is large enough for anyone to find what they like and it changes enough to keep it fresh. I've never ordered anything that was disappointing and I've always had good service. The locations are also well done as you can always find one at any big entertainment district. This Desert Ridge location has survived when it's neighbor spot has never lasted over the years.

Always love the yard house! My parents and I have found it consistently good, no matter what location or state it's in. I love all their gluten free options and I dream about the spinach artichoke dip. I'm so sad they got rid of the location at Scottsdale fashion square but this location is always a nice treat.

    Cider seasonal
    Allison J.

I came here by myself. There was no wait. I was offered a taste of the mango foxtrot and they also brought a taster of the seasonal cider. I loved the seasonal cider more than the mango I originally wanted. The seasonal cider was apple pie and it smelled and tasted like an actual Apple pie. It was really good. The steak was also good. The vegetables could've used more attention. Not enough seasoning or cooked long enough. The steak was med rare and very delicious. It had enough seasoning and the sauce they had was also very good. Mashed potatoes are mashed potatoes and creamy and buttery. The filet was 38 dollars. Do I think the filet was worth 38 dollars? Maybe not that expensive but it was still a very nice meal overall

Ask the Community - Yard House

Do you have a quiet space that could work for a meeting?

Hi. I don't personally think there's a quiet spot in the restaurant to have a meeting. It does depend on the time of day that you're there where the noise level can be nonexistent to very loud.

Do they have a decent wine list?

    Yes

Is the outdoor patio dog friendly?

There 3 locations in the Phoenix area and I do not know if their policy is the same or if all of them have outside dining. You would have to call the location that you would like to visit and call for info.

    Are reservations a good idea?

Evenings any night and weekends for lunch can be pretty busy so if you don't want to wait, yes.

The bar setting itself was nice! I truly appreciate the speakeasy feel- walking through a mystery door phone booth was a good welcome to this bar. Small on the inside, but had a classy but casual feel. Since we did the murder mystery there was also a preset menu which was cool. The food was okay, but will be returning back for the drinks more than the food. The murder mystery game was a nice way to get everyone in the bar involved. Essential a real like clue or who done it game. Very interesting but also can be a bit distracting if your goal was to come out and have some drinks and peace out at your leisure. While it is a very cool idea, I feel that more customers would be able to come and go on these days and not be turned out because a reservation was not made. All in all, will return on another night to try more drinks

I've been to The Mighty Axe twice. Ambiance (4/5): This is part of what I love about The Mighty Axe. It has a cabin feel to it. Despite being in Phoenix, you feel like you've been transported to the mountains. There's some seating at the bar as well as some comfortable seating close to a fireplace. The barstools at the bar don't have back support (which is always a con in my book). The music tends to be solid. All in all, a cool spot. And a casual one at that. Service (4/5): The service tends to be friendly, laidback, and efficient. Just like I like it. Food (N/A): I've been on a liquid diet both times, and to be honest, I'm not even sure if they have food. Drinks (3.5/5): Everyone likes different flavor profiles when it comes to cocktails. The Mighty Axe has a solid list, though one that is not super appealing to my taste. Outside of their cocktail list, they have a full bar. The Mighty Axe, if the name didn't give it away, is both a bar and an axe throwing place. While I haven't done any axe throwing, I've checked out the area where it's located (the back of the bar). And there's even one outside on the small patio. Overall, one of my favorite bars on High Street (I live in Desert Ridge so I've frequented pretty much everywhere in the area).

Exceptional Staff Response to Unwanted Contact considered Sexual Assault at Blue Martini…read more My husband and I recently visited Blue Martini, and while we initially had a great time dancing, the evening took a distressing turn due to the actions of another patron. However, the club's staff--specifically the security and bouncers--handled the situation with outstanding speed, professionalism, and care. While dancing, an unknown individual came up from behind me, inappropriately grabbed my body, and attempted to put his arms around me. My husband intervened immediately to physically remove the patron from my body. Once freed, while my husband was speaking with the individual, I went straight to the nearest security personnel to report the incident. The response from the Blue Martini staff was immediate and flawless: * The security team I spoke to instantly took the situation seriously, ensuring my safety first and showing genuine concern. * They listened attentively to my report. * The bouncers quickly located the aggressor, who was promptly and permanently removed from the premises. In a situation that was shocking and unsettling, knowing that the staff at Blue Martini is trained, prepared, and willing to take decisive action against harassment and assault made a huge difference. Their effective and swift response deserves significant recognition. It's clear that Blue Martini prioritizes the safety and well-being of its patrons. If you are looking for a venue where staff actively addresses and removes individuals who cross boundaries, this club sets an excellent standard. The loco moco was definitely a group favorite (good burger patty) while the mac salad was probably our least favorite component (lacking in salt and flavor). To zhush up my loco moco a bit, I asked our server for some hot sauce, and was brought their Madagascar hot sauce. Woooo-wee that was hot! When I saw they were giving a four top to someone who had come in 10 min earlier, left & then back I got up with pouch to ask what gives. The arse said its b/c our dog wasn't behaving. Seriously?!??! Laying at front door with folks going in/out. Plus they clearly do not know anything about ADA! Nadda. The head honcho asked what was wrong with me!?!!!!! Not what does your service dog do for you? What a violation! So head to MODERN MARGARITA for great food, service & a caring staff!!

We walked in and seated ourselves at the bar. The goal was a great beverage and some social chemistry. It took several minutes to be recognized at the bar. After a quick scan, I saw several patrons with a disgusted or malaise look on their faces. The staff was huddled at the end of the bar fixated on themselves. While passing the time, I noticed a menu placard that indicated all day happy hour and a tequila of the day (ask server). Given the initial situation observed, I felt that just getting a pour of tequila on ice was the "safe" bet. Eventually, the waitress made her way over. When asked about the tequila of the day, she scoffed and rolled her eyes. She walked over and grabbed the bottle and simply just showed it to me. No verbal input, no real interaction and absolutely NOTHING but attitude. Everyone else at the bar was offered water, a food menu, and eye contact. Got the pour and promptly ignored until we had to literally flag her down. It was NOT busy. I made a comment about the service under my breath and another couple indicated "they are always slow, but this is excessive".... Basically, the only thing they have going for them is location. The food staff was hopping, friendly, and was verbally apologizing for the smallest delay with food. The bar.......best of luck. Lacks anything but a hard time, and the feeling that you're a burden for the basics like a menu, friendly attitude and some social chemistry. Had better experiences at a convenience store....at 2am.... Wanted to spend more money....left confused and disappointed.

I'm gonna give three stars because the service was great at the bar and the server was attentive outside and quick although she didn't know the menu well. I ordered the cheese plate to split with my children and no one knew what was on it when I asked, but I was later informed that I got a tomato jelly and honey mustard as the sauces. To me a $30 cheese plate would not come with a container of honey mustard so I was not impressed. When I asked what cheeses were on it they told me there was 2 different cheddars. There was no way it was a cheddar it was a very soft cheese. I believe it was a goat cheese. The almonds were probably the best part of the whole platter. My husband got wings, which were very big. He enjoyed those and the sauce, and my other daughter got meatballs, which she enjoyed, but thought they were a little spicy, I find that usually when kids order things that are spicy servers will say just so you know that has a little bit of heat to it to which the waitress did not again, I don't think she was very knowledgeable on the menu in general . For the type of hotel twenty6 was kinda of major let down. Definitely will pass on the next visit.

We each enjoyed a couple of drinks while chatting about life. Sitting at the bar was quick service and quiet, but you can also relax in a plush patio chair out in the courtyard. Next time, we will plan better and be sure to play some arcade games in the new space before it closes at 9!

Waiter had to bring us menus because none of us were able to get cellular service to open the QR menu code. Started off with a few dozen oysters and a cheese board. So many drinks were ordered and our group enjoyed each one. Can't remember all the names, but they were all well prepared and brought out quickly. Oysters were very fresh and cleaned nicely. Cheese board was decent as well. Will definitely be back for a night cap.

Located in Desert Ridge Marketplace, there's plenty of parking though it is a busy area. As someone who has been to speakeasies all over the world, there are certain things I look for so that it's an authentic experience. Sadly, as speakeasies have become a popular thing, some have opened that don't stay true to the historical roots of what a speakeasy is. Let's see how Pigtails fares (and note: they have another location downtown. Ambiance (4/5): Speakeasies popped up during the Prohibition Era when alcohol was illegal in the U.S. Since they were underground bars, there was no signage. You had to know where to go to find it. Which is part of the experience. There should be a creative way to get into a speakeasy. This is an area where Pigtails fails. While it's somewhat hidden, there's a neon sign that says Pigtails. Dead giveaway. You walk down a flight of stairs and that takes you to the bar. When you arrive, you'll see a central bar with bar stools surrounding it. With some nice booths on the exterior. Which is where I sat. The lighting could be a little darker (after all ambiance is one of the hallmarks of a speakeasy) and the music was a bit too loud, but outside of that, nicely done. Service (4.5/5): Friendly and mostly efficient service all-around. They fill up your water cup without you asking. They provide you with helpful recommendations. And there's free WiFi which you might need because my reception wasn't great underground. You pay using one of those hand-held electronic card readers which have become super popular. This may be a pet peeve of mine but I like to see an itemized receipt before I give you my credit card. Food (N/A): I don't think they have food, but if you're hungry, The Whining Pig is attached to Pigtails and they have food there. All it takes is a short walk down a hallway to get there. Drinks (4.5/5): When I'm at a speakeasy, I'm not trying to see a margarita, mojito, gin & tonic, etc. I'm trying to see creative crack cocktails that blend an interesting group of ingredients. And this is what you'll find here. Despite several cocktails not being available, there was a ton on the menu that I wanted to try. I had three cocktails on this visit including Panic at the Disco (IYKYK), and one that was served in a clear tea cup with a huge ice cube (and earl gray tea was one of the ingredients). Exactly what I was hoping for. While the "Pigtails" signage outside of the speakeasy was disappointing, these rest of the experience was terrific.
