Not very good food at a good price. ------- General Tso's chicken platter (lunch plate) || $5.95: This comes with General Tso's chicken, fried rice, an egg roll, and a soup of the day (dine-in only). My SO and I shared this, which was enough to fill up both of us. - General Tso's chicken: Not good. Even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant, this took longer than I thought it would. It also wasn't very hot once we got it, just warm. The breading was not crispy, just thick and kind of soft. The sauce was not spicy at all, and tasted more salty and sweet than savory. I wouldn't order this again. - Fried rice: This was okay. There were bits of chicken in this. - Eggroll: The outside didn't taste crunchy nor hot. The filling was bland. Overall, it just didn't taste fresh nor delicious. - Egg drop soup: This was okay, much better than the chicken. However, I had to ask the waiter for this. I got the menu on my phone and pointed out that it said there is a free soup with a lunch plate, which they seemed to have forgotten. Once I mentioned this, I got the soup soon after. The soup was actually hot, which was nice. It was savory and thick. I would consider getting this again. ------- Strawberry mango smoothie: Sadly, I forgot to mention I wanted boba with this. :( This was good, except it tasted a bit too sweet/fake for me. I suppose you could ask for less sugar. The texture and thickness was on point -- it was well-blended, smooth, and thick. We have been ordering from here for years. It has always been very good until yesterday. The egg rolls are half the size they used to be and didn't have much taste. I always order the Mongolian beef, and I was extremely disappointed with it. I usually prefer the Mo's in Orland, however this one is right across the street from me. Today was the second time in a year that I had ordered a sweet and sour dish. The first time was chicken but I got pork instead and just threw it out. Today I ordered shrimp so there would be no confusion and I got pork yet again. It wouldn't be a big deal but pork is against my religion 100%. This time I did call and the gentleman did replace my food after I told him he was losing us as customers. He did not offer to replace until I said that. That is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars because he was accommodating. To my Muslim and Jewish neighbors, I would say it is worth the drive to Orland to not be given pork instead of chicken or shrimp. Just be very cautious before biting into what you believe is chicken. read more

Most disappointed with how they handle their mess ups. Had Take out, and Mos forgot an item. Had to leave a family party to deal with this. Best they could do for me is to offer me free fortune cookies. Pretty insulting after ordering a large number of other meals. And while I thought I had it bad, when I arrived back the owner was Yelling at another customer. She came to the store as her Delivery order was cold. Because her family had eaten into the food, Mo's refused to refund her money. Not sure how Mo expected her to tell the food was cold! The restaurant was very clean, the spring rolls were excellent, and even the red wine tasted great. Then the main dish came out which I ordered chicken chop Suey. I live in Chicago so I have tasted many of different Chinese restaurants, and it tasted to me like they reheated old chicken. Ordered for pick up. Standard answer is "will be ready in 20 minutes" whether you order for 100 people or one soda (know that cause I sat there waiting an extra 20 minutes for my food). Food is ok. Not a ton of flavor (I guess to be expected as they are pumping out order after order) especially the Kung Pao Chicken. Good size portions though, plenty of leftovers. The food is good at the NewLenox location (Mos3) but disappointed with the crab Rangoon's. That's what I fell in love with at the orland pk location, Mos 2. The Crab Rangoons in Orland Park are really filled with cheese and crab. The New Lenox location barely fills them. Ordered the General Tso Chicken Less Spicy (even showed it on the receipt) Worst order ever...was FULL BLOWN Spicy, no sauce to go with the dry white rice and only 2 pieces of Not Fully Cooked Broccoli. Called back and was told bring it back TODAY & we'll replace...yeah right like I want to eat that again the next day when I couldn't eat it the day I bought it. Don't know what they do to make the Combination Fried Rice but got the worst heart burn ever & I NEVER had heart burn before. Not the healthiest we've had but an improvement on the rising sun or Panda Express variety. Best Asian we've found in the area is Yucca, too bad they don't offer delivery. Mo's was amazingly accommodating on special dietary needs. Three of us got carry out, and we all had different requests--the most important were no gluten, and no MSG. The people taking our order directed us away from any appetizers as those were prepped with MSG. They happily adjusted the made to order dishes. My friend also asked them to make the orange chicken with non-breaded white chicken, which was no problem either. It looked as if they had a list of ingredients on the ordering computer that they looked over as we talked about our choices. Between both people at the desk, they confirmed the alterations three times as they communicated to the folks in the kitchen. My veggie soup, and fried rice were mediocre, but my friends were very happy with their meat based dishes. I know they want to go back, and I'll try something different next time. read more

We've been loyal customers for several years, spending almost $100 per month at Mo's. However, in the last few months we have experienced lower quality and less meat in some items on the menu...mainly the Singapore Rice Noodles. The first time we were not satisfied, it was because there was only 1 shrimp, a few slices of meat and the majority of the order was packed with onions, peppers and noodles....almost like Ramen on steroids. Upon complaining, the manager replaced our order and redelivered a better quality product. We understood that sometimes, a cook has a bad day or someone new is preparing the food. However, last night after spending over $40 on food (for the 3rd time this month) the Singapore Rice Noodles were SOOO spicy, overly seasoned and disgusting that we could not even eat them. Then, when we called to express our dissatisfaction, the manager told us he would NOT replace our item because we had complained several months earlier about the Singapore Rice Noodles (although that was a different complaint). We have spent thousands of dollars over the years for food from Mo's and have always been satisfied; however, when management refuses to make their customers happy by righting a wrong, we have no desire to spend anymore of our hard-earned money for diminishing quality food and blatently poor customer service. I've been going here for almost a decade. I moved away from my parent's home, but every time I visit, I make sure to head to Mo's. My favorite is the spicy chicken with noodles. It's perfectly spicy. They have amazing fried rices, too. Their chicken is absurdly tender, which makes me think it's really great quality/well cooked...or maybe not. You can never be sure! Tried Mo's for the first time and we were all very pleased. Rising Sun disappointed us last three times and we were turned off on Chinese for a while.
