He showed how much he appreciates his customers and people who invest in his business, something that you find nowhere else. Matty at the front desk was fantastic but the server, HAI was unprofessional. That's what brought the 5 star to a 3 star. Everyone knows that the attitude of the server as you host your clients dictates how the atmosphere of the whole dinnig will be. Hai was rude and his attitude was unpleasant. He even had the nerve to hush me with his had when I asked for a straw. Then he ended up looking at the tip and banging the receipt on the table like to say "up yours" . The whole time i was tense at the table wondering if he was going to spit on my order. Chinese food is always a safe and easy go to when you want a quick but a little nicer fast food for dinner. And this area is loaded with great Chinese food options. One of the nice advantages of Mo's however is that they also have a full Japanese entree selection. Orland Park has two Mo's locations. Mo's 1 and Mo's 2. Mo's 2 is close to my house and the prices are also a little lower there. We ordered 4 items off the menu and all were absolutely fantastic! I started with an order of Harvest Spring Rolls. There are two per order. The menu description does not do these justice. There is vegetables inside of a golden fried light crust. Cooked perfectly and light, delicious! My entree was General Tso's Chicken. I ordered a small and good thing because the portion size was huge and I couldn't eat it all, which is unusual for me. The chicken pieces were large, tender yet crunchy on the outside. Cooked to perfection as well. The sauce was amazing with just the right about of spiciness. My wife and I also shared a large Chicken Fried Rice. First time for the chicken option. It was delicious, huge and cooked perfectly. The two of us could not consume it all in one sitting. My wife also had an order of Egg Rolls. 2 per order. These were also excellent and could not be any better. She and I both enjoyed a second meal the next day with all of our left overs. This location is very conveniently located in a strip mall with tons of parking. The inside of the restaurant is really nice and the service is very friendly and professional. Moe's Chinese Kitchen No. 2 in Orland Park makes my number one rated crab rangoon. Period. Ordered 2 soups at $10.95 each and crab Rangoon. Shrimp udon and Seafood combo. Shrimp udon had 2 shrimp total in it, mostly clear broth and minimal noodles. Combo had 3 shrimp and 3 pieces of overcooked fake crabmeat and very few vegetables. I understand it is soup, but a better description would be broth. Shrink flation at its best. Crab Rangoon was good but small pieces compared to other restaurants in the area. Not worth going back here again. I live 2 minutes from here and will never use again. read more

Like this Mo's a lot. We are used to going to the Mo's in the strip mall on 159th Street (that's #1 we guess), but they are redoing the inside and only open for carry out. So off we went to Mo's #2 and we were pleasantly surprised. The interior is much bigger than the 159th Street location, furnishings seems so new in the place, everything was clean, and the lions share of the business seemed take out since most of the seating was open. Some other reviews complain that there is only one waiter ... and that is all we saw also ... but since we came on a night without too many tableside diners, we had no problem with the service. There are usually two other people working the front where all the takeout action happens. Food is good and ambiance is nice. Don't know how the takeout is, since we have only eaten inside. Came in for a private event we had a section on the side of the restaurant sectioned for 20 ppl. We were greeted with Mai-tai's and ice cold beers at the table and for the Saki lovers there was ice cold Saki. The tables received family style service with large platters of sushi, sashimi and California rolls. We also had wagyu beef with asparagus and zucchini, noddles, salt and pepper squid, chicken and fish. Some items are not in menu but the chef worked a special menu to satisfy the needs of our family. We also had kids, so we end up ordering mandarin chicken and vegetable lo mein. Great food plenty of space to move around and enjoy a lazy Sunday brunch. read more

We have been getting carryouts from this location for the past 10 years. That is going to change - prices going up, quality going DOWN. We always order same thing - Lunch combo Sweet & Sour Chicken (which includes pineapple, tomato and greenpepper - now there is one tiny pineapple chunk, a sliver of green pepper and tiny piece of shriveled-up tomato). The Almond Cashew Chicken used to include pea pods - now only chopped-up celery and carrots (the cheapest veggies). We frequent this restaurant generally in take out.The food is very good.Therefore we decided thus time to go and eat inside which we have done several times. I can't believe how rude the gentleman, who we believed to be the owner, was to us the entire time. This has happened on previous visits, but yesterday was the worst i have ever experienced. Basically, he threw the menu at us. Took forever to come back and treated us more as a disturbance than a paying customer. It took them longer than average to get our appetizers and even longer, over an hour,for our food, which, by the way, we had to remind him to see what happened to our food. When it did finally come out, it did not come out all at once. There were 4 of us. He never apologized for our food being over an hour. We did have an appetizer and didn't realize the time until we noticed that people who came in afterward were leaving, and we hadn't been served our food. When we mentioned how unhappy we were to the owner He just looked at us and didn't say anything. Obviously, since there are other restaurants that would appreciate our business, we will no longer will pay this establishment to be treated as we were. This restaurant was referred by a friend. Since we were in the area, we decided to try it. Lunch specials were a great deal. Sushi was made fresh. Unfortunately dissatisfied with the service. I was healing from recent dental work, so I requested to slice the rolls at 8 pieces versus the normal 6. The server insisted that it was sliced small already. I would not recommend dining here to anyone looking for a pleasant experience. What truly ruined the experience was our waiter asking for a higher tip. He looked at me and said " Ma po pork?" He didn't write it down. Everyone else had to eat or their food would get cold. I am writing this now still waiting for my food. It has been almost 10 mins now since the last plate was served. We have been here for an hour and a half. I am not kidding you. The table of 6 paid and left. I just now got it after everyone finished eating and without an apology. He didn't even look at me. Not a word. Then I look at it and it is Moo Shu pork... not Ma-po pork And HE STILL CHARGED ME FOR IT!! Unreal The worst. What ever it was I got was super salty. I never had it before so I don't know it is supposed to be salty but then the pork fried rice (which they also forgot) tasted like freezer burn. The crab Rangoon was good. The server screwed up our soup order, and was so visibly rude to us that we left after the edamame (which was cold because she forgot it, had no salt on it, and was so oily it was inedible). We ordered food for delivery on Christmas eve. We were told it was going to be about 1 hour. At the hour and 15 mark we called to get the status of the food and were told it was on it's way. At the two hour mark we called and asked for a manager, who acted like she could care less and were informed it would be another 20 minutes. This was the first time we ordered from here.I can appreciate a place being busy, but honesty goes a long way. We could have ordered from someplace else if we were told up front the wait time. I have been coming to this Mo's for about 10 years now and it is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. I usually order take out here a lot, but today I decided to dine in. The food is always great. It comes out fast and always has a lot of flavor. We ordered Beef and Broccoli, 3 sushi rolls, and crab Rangoon. Today, the food was tasty, but I witnessed something that totally changed my mind about this restaurant and I am not sure if I can come back. We just got done eating our sushi and waiting for our next meal and heard the sound of cutting toe nails, so I looked around and I saw exactly what I heard. The man who was making the sushi, our sushi, was behind the counter cutting his toe nails. The other waiters said nothing. I should have said something, but I was just in awe. It is so disgusting and unprofessional. On top of that, the waiter here is not nice. Yes, he is fast and got our order right without writing it down, but the man was very short with us and didn't seem to care at all. It is so sad to me that my dining experience today was not good. We called and they said the chef said there are three kinds. That was all they had to say. No offer Tom make it better.
