We have been going here for 3 years now. There are many Chinese Restaurants in the area but this one is our go-to. We had egg rolls which are always perfect. Wife wanted to try the Hawaii Fried Rice. She liked it but I didn't. I don't like sweetness in my fried rice. I had the General Tso's Chicken which was awesome as always. For many years there was a lot of turnover at this particular spot and it was never good. We've avoided each subsequent iteration of this restaurant like the plague. But then based on the amazing reviews here we decided to give Li's House a try - and I'm so glad we did! Not sure how long they've been there, but if you've avoided all Chinese restaurants in that location due to the weird fuchsia sweet and sour sauces and heavy grease in the past, please know it's time to go back! Li's House is easily the best Chinese place in our area and I'm so happy they have turned a travesty into a treasure. We have now ordered from there four times and every time the food has been fantastic. The convenience of ordering online is great too - our food is always ready on time, served hot. Nothing is greasy, portions are abundant, and everything tastes fresh. The owners are friendly as well and clearly take pride in their business based on the quality of the food. Moved to Orland 1 month ago and trying out different dishes. I've had a lot of Chinese food coming from the city and this was the best I have ever had. The sweet and sour chicken was all chicken, nothing fatty about this. I do recommend if you want some really good oriental food, this is your place. Just order and they delivery it to the door. This is the best Chinese place I've found in the Orland Park area. The food is fresh and the owners are nice. Got the lunch combo with sesame chicken, and the fried rice is really tasty and the chicken is sweet and crispy. Being from San Francisco, having gone to college in Champaign, I've seen my fair share of restaurants of this type; Li's House certainly stands out as one of the best. They don't say what is in their food....egg rolls have shrimp so if you are allergic beware! Even our chicken fried rice had shrimp, chicken and broccoli had some shrimp in it too....really terrible as 1/2 of us couldn't eat any of it, the restaurant just said we are sorry but you should have written in the comments you are allergic. REALLY? Chicken and broccoli shouldn't have shrimp....that would be shrimp and broccoli.....make sure to call and ask what they are putting in your food, the menu does not show what's in it (chicken and broccoli with a few pieces of shrimp" at least that I could have known. They offered nothing when I called to tell them. Her answer exactly was "you should have added it to the comments, our website doesn't have enough space to write what's in the food" Not impressed and won't order from here again. My boyfriend and I went here on a whim trying to find something to eat before going to the movies. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Most Chinese restaurant have a reputation for being pretty dirty on the inside, but Li's House was very clean, with cool fun facts about the Great Wall hanging on the wall. We could see the kitchen, which also looked very clean and was bustling with cooks busily making food. We got our food within 10mins and sat and ate it. Very good, but pricey. I have to say the crab Rangoon is the best we have found in the area. I love the Singapore rice noodles. Of course it's pricey but I find most Chinese restaurants are. The food here is fresh and very tasty. I'm so happy it's in the neighborhood. My favorite is the sesame chicken. Also very good is their fried rice and pan fried noodles. We will be ordering here very often and hopefully for many more years to come :) read more
