Overall a very good experience. My friend got the lox meal and I got the super California omelette meal. Each meal was $17 something. I think my friend enjoyed her salmon on bagels. My meal was tasty and portion was huge. Before our food came the waitress put two plates of cake on our table complimentary of the restaurant. My friend thought it wasn't sweet enough so she put honey on it. I thought it was the perfect sweet level and enjoyed it. Our drinks were $4.00 each. I got coffee and my friend got tea. I think this place charges the most on beverages. $4 for tea is a little too much. Anyway, as we were paying for our bills the waitress gave us a military discount because she was thinking because I have a navy federal card. Somebody is actually thinking and knows something because you have to be a veteran or active military status to be a part of Navy Federal Credit Union. I have never had anybody who did that for me. I had been wanting to come to this place and the last time I tried coming there was a long wait outside the restaurant so I just took off. I woke up early today and headed to Temecula bright and early to get to Mo's before it got busy. I was able to join the waitlist on yelp. I checked in as soon as I got there and was seated right away. It was barely 9 o'clock when I got there and it was already super busy! If you don't like waiting, I would suggest going in the early morning on weekends. We were attended quickly. Service was fast and friendly. We were given complimentary cake for each person in our group! So kind! I ordered the fruity berry French toast and it was huge! It was delicious but I could barely eat it all! I love the regular pancakes, there is nothing standing in between the greatness of the fluff, or the taste of a perfectly made pancake. Also, great are their biscuits. if you are on a diet, stay away. You are just not that strong and what a waste of a great time, a party in your mouth. When you leave you will want to take a nap because of course you ate too much and you don't care. So, go to your hotel or your home and take a nap. It is all worth it. Service is fast our food came out pretty quickly. Portion sizes are big So you could easily share, we ordered two plates for the three of us. We ordered an omelette which came with a side of biscuits and gravy. The omelette was cooked nicely. We aso ordered machaca con huevos which was ok to me but my friends were less impressed with it. CINNAMON ROLL FRENCH TOAST!! The one item that stood out from our brunch visit. It had lots of cinnamon and the "icing" added the perfect balance. The omelettes were not great at all bcuz they lacked flavor. We had to add plenty of salt & black pepper to have some flavor to them. Also, they are NOT made with fresh eggs, as I had expected. They definitely taste like a batter mixture of some sort and not fresh eggs. Pretty disappointed about that part... good thing we ordered the french toast tho, those were delicious! Straight fire. We stayed across the street for the weekend, and wanted breakfast before heading out back home. It was a 45 minute wait but I am so glad we opted to wait. I had I believe the california inlets with Swiss and pepper Jack cheese. It was really good. I added some of their homemade salsa which was the bomb. I am not a bread eater but their biscuits and gravy were delicious. The hubby had eggs, hash browns, and some sort of chicken sausage which was really good. No complaints as the customer service was even spectacular, but I would recommend more onions, bell peppers in the potatoes. My only complaint is that our food did take a while to be brought out (around 25 minutes) Our waitress did offer complimentary coffee cake when we ordered, but it never made it to our table. Once we got the food she realized it & said "oh I'll get the coffee cake" but nothing. Then later I asked another waitress that walked by for it & she never came back with it either. I've been to Mo's several times throughout the years.. we've even brought friends & family here when they've visited from out of town. My husband & I came here today for breakfast & unfortunately the place is beginning to go down hill. The floor below us where we were seated was sticky & dirty. The wall next to our booth was dirty & stained, it was absolutely gross. Two-thirds of the plate on my husband's order was completely messed up + the potatoes O'Brian were COLD & firm. They served me an overly dry pancake with mushy, bland hash browns. My coffee was served warm & at no point was I offered a refill. Also, the crumb cake used to taste better than what was served today. It was dry & nearly tasteless. The experience wasn't what we were used to. Please clean your restaurant after you guys close down for the day. It made me lose my appetite, tbh. Despite all of the mishaps, the waitress gave us 10% off our order .......
