Came here for the first time at this location. Ordered the 3 scoops crepe with mango, coffee, and ube ice cream. Very delicious and fulfilling. Staff are friendly and fast. I've only noticed street parking available. They do have a good amount of tables to chill at. Staff are friendly and fast. I've only noticed street parking available. Cute ice cream shop. They had a variety of flavors. It is a little pricey though. The one scoop ice cream was served in a container that is shaped like a pot. The spoon was shaped like a shovel too. Too cute! The scoops order was placed on a regular plate. Also, they will ask if you want peanut brittle topping on your ice cream. It was a good and added a nice touch of flavor to the ice cream. Service was very quick. Loved that the employees were so friendly and willing to answer questions. Lots of tables to sit. There was a TV set to play games.

We visited the Mosa University location on a quiet Thursday afternoon around 3 PM. When we entered the shop, there was no immediate greeting or acknowledgment. We called out "hello" a few times but no one came out from behind the counter. Eventually, a young staff member spoke to us from the back area behind the wall instead of coming forward to greet us or assist us directly. She asked from there if we were ready to order, but did not step out or engage with us at the counter. It also appeared she had been on her phone prior to assisting. To the owner: we are regular fans of Mosa (the Waikiki location) which is why we wanted to share this feedback. This particular experience felt quite different from what we normally expect and we hope it can help improve customer service consistency and staff presence at the counter. Despite this, we still enjoyed our ice cream and had a nice time overall. We also took some cute photos that day (April 16). Thank you for taking the time to listen to customer feedback.

Dear food diary, Tonight I went to the notorious Mosa for dessert with my sperm donor. Boy oh boy was I caught off guard by how amazing dessert could be. I've never had such delicious cream in my mouth (pause). I attached an image of my sperm donor and as you can see that sh*t was bussin baby. Thank you Mosa for such a core memory.

I've had a memorable experience at the Mosa Waikiki location, but it was my first time going to the university store on S King St. Definitely the more convenient location of the two, since there are several free parking options and an indoor seating area for dining in. They now offer mac nut brittle shaving on top of their peanut one for extra charge. I decided to get the Mosa cup this time, with Honeydew mochi and Blueberry Cheesecake ice cream. I thought the Mosa cup was average (3.5/5) compared to their signature Mosa wrap. The crepe, cream, and their brittle adds so much to the experience and texture that their cup variant was underwhelming in comparison. Mosa was still great as I remember it to be, but in the future, I am going to stick to the Mosa wrap because thats where its at.

Pleasantly surprised by how yummy this ice cream burrito was. Wish there was more peanut shavings inside though. They use delicious ice cream! No thrills about this place - walk in, decide if you want a burrito or a scoop, and pick your flavors. Wasn't sure where to park though, so parked in the lot i usually do for Nijiya and picked up something from there on the way out (there's a scan qr on their door for a free hour).

Came here on a Sunday night with no line. The flavor choices were plentiful. I got the coffee and the honey dew mochi. The honey dew mochi had nice piece of mochi and was artifical tasting. The kona coffee tasted like standard coffee flavor. But the star of the show is definitely the brittle that is shaved right in front of you. Wish they had an extra option. Would recommend just for the brittle.

Love love love their crepe ice cream rolls! The peanuts are definitely a good mix to balance out the sweetness from the ice cream and add texture to the dish. The crepe wrapper is very soft and overall it's a very refreshing sweet treat to eat after a heavy meal. The staff was very nice and gave me a wet paper towel because I spilt on my jeans (oops). They also came out with it very fast. The place can get crowded pretty quickly at night, but overall great spot

I thought of this dessert spot one night after our dinner. I believe this is their 2nd location, and seems a little bit more convenient than Waikiki. It's a cute and bright spot. Very welcoming staff. We ordered a 2 scoop ice cream with peanut shaving topping. The ice cream flavor we got was honeydew mochi and blueberry cheesecake. Such unique flavors here. It was very good...creamy and not too sweet. Definitely will be back to try other flavors. They have the macnut topping for a limited time.

    Peanut candy shavings!!!

You're really going for the nut shavings here as the ice cream and the wrap is really nothing special. However, I loved peanut toppings! Reminds me of a Chinese traditional dessert that I love! I tried the Mac nut too but definitely prefer the peanut one, more aromatic and satisfying. You could fit up to 3 flavors of ice cream in a regular or mini wrap. I got coffee and taro and they're both delicious. The interior looks a bit dated but it's not dirty at least, acceptable. There's also video games by the entrance and it's a fun place to eat some dessert and play some games. Friendly service too.

We love to get a sweet treat after dinner for the kids and Mosa really hits the spot. It's located at Pucks Alley right off S king (across from Raising Canes. There is a private lot in the back of the building that has a really easy parking system. You pull into the lot and scan a QR code to pay for your parking. The minimum is two hours for three dollars and the system will recognize that you have signed in and as you're leaving, it will send you a text to let you know that you are leaving the lot and charges it to the card you put on your account. Now the best thing about Mosa is their peanut topping. But when we went today, they have a new topping which is macadamia nuts. And for a limited time, they are offering a free macadamia nut topping, which makes me think that in the future it will be an up charge. We tried the macadamia nut in a crêpe with coconut and Kona coffee ice cream. They allow three ice cream choices in the regular size crepe. I really liked the coconut and macadamia nut topping, but I would rather prefer the peanut and Kona coffee. The kids are not fans of the crêpe or ice cream or peanut topping, but they love the Tanghulu grapes. There are lots of seats inside and it's a really bright and open spot. There are also many restaurants and eateries in the immediate area that you could get a quick bite to eat and then have your dessert at Mosa.

Pretty cool little ice cream place. Had the mini ube, honeydew , cookies and cream wrap. Was a perfect treat for a hot day.

Mosa is a solid late night dessert option in town. My friends and I were craving dessert and they had never tried Mosa before, so I recommended we check it out (this was my second experience). I highly recommend getting the scoops of ice cream because the portions are pretty generous and they give a lot of the shaved peanut candy. I also tried a bite of my friend's crepe, but the texture wasn't what I was expecting haha. My favorite flavors that I've tried here are the mango, cookies and cream, matcha and Kona coffee. I like that the workers are friendly, the parking is really easy (in the back lot the 1st hour is free) and of course the ice cream never disappoints.

The bigger the malasadas size the more airy and fluffy and more bread layers that will be inside. 2. their malasadas always taste fresh and the same quality each time. 3. their malasadas don't feel oily or heavy at all Overall I would highly recommend this place for their Malasadas! I'm so happy to have found them. I can back multiple times on my trip. They also have other desserts too that I have yet to try. However, there are many alternative malasada purveyors throughout Honolulu, so I depended on local vloggers to find the best ones. This one popped up often on YouTube, and as luck would have it, we were dining at The Pig & The Lady on the next block. How calorifically convenient. We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. I went for the Coffee, while Jamie chose the daily special, Cinnamon (Photo 6). They were soft and tasty, quite comparable to Leonard's albeit a tad smaller. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing since we had dinner ahead of us. However, we let temptation get the best of us and shared a $5.50 slice of the Ube Haupia Mac Nut Bar, a yummy combination of sweet potato and ube topped with haupia (coconut milk pudding) on a macadamia nut crust (Photo 9). Truth be told, it stole the show from the malasadas. FOOD - 4 stars... the malasadas were good, but that ube dessert was next level AMBIANCE - 4 stars...really a takeout operation with a lot of temptations SERVICE - 4 stars...very calm and orderly TOTAL - 4 stars...yet another spot for sweet Hawaiian decadence RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? Standard generous portion for a bingsu location, notably generous for an Ala Moana location. The location itself was free of insects despite being on a ground floor location with sugary desserts everywhere. Meh: The $14 (including 15% tip) dessert tasted too light and ice-like and appeared more translucent (rather than opaque white) than expected, leading me to think the milk was watered down, which may be how the establishment can make up the cost for the portion size while maintaining a spot in Ala Moana, especially given milk prices in Hawai'i, even if you're buying from Costco or direct from farmers. Also, tables were not cleaned after each party departed; that transparent puddle on your table might not be condensation and may instead be drool drops from the toddler who sat there before you. Overall: Good (not outstanding) experience. Knocked off 2 stars for combination of suspected diluted milk + unclean tables.
