    Borscht and stuffed cabbage

I saw a video from TikTok of a woman trying Russian/Ukrainian food. I decided to check this place to try some borscht and to pick out a few things, too. It's a tiny store, but some great options to choose from. All I can say is that the food is yummy and filling! I will come back again and recommend it to my friends :)

    Dry, stale honey cake

We come here often to grab some goodies, chocolates and cakes. Today the honey cake is not good at all. It is very dry, firm, and flavor is off.

All of my visits to Moscow deli have always been very good. They have everything an Eastern European mama, like myself, needs. I don't just want it, I need it. The service here is good, and the ladies that work here are so kind. They gave my little daughter some candies while we were shopping, and got a big kick when she spoke some Russian. This place has a nice mom and pop atmosphere. I like it a lot, and I will be back for more of the good stuff soon. Spasiba!

Great spot for authentic food, great customer service and very tasty food, reasonably priced. Very recommended.

This is a very cute little deli. They have a wide selection of items and great service.

Stolichniye (Sonia's Kitchen) brand Pelmini (dumplings) vs Grandma's Perogies (Siberian) brand. I prefer the latter (but it's a close call).

Today I tried 2 different pork based dumplings (Pelmini)... The Stolichniye (Sonia's Kitchen) brand beef and pork mixed dumplings were pretty good. They were less doughy and the meat was slightly fibrous. The Grandma's Perogies (Siberian) brand pork and beef mixed dumplings were also pretty good. They were more doughy and the meat was not fibrous. I think I prefer these, but it was a close call. Next time I need to compare against their bulk (unbranded) dumplings.

Yes! It was so cool being introduced to some Russian culture in OC. It's right next to my campus and the food/homey vibes was great.

Do you make Medovik (Russian Honey Cake) or have the ability to make it as a special order?

Do they have doctorskoya kolbasa (doctor's sausage)?

Yes, they have big variety of doctorskaya kolbasa

Are any of the soups, cabbage rolls, or deli items gluten free? We have been looking for an authentic Russian deli but have several food sensitivities in our family (gluten, dairy).

Hi. The cabbage rolls are gluten free however they do have eggs in them. Certain soups like borscht are gluten and dairy free. All of our salads are also gluten and dairy free except the Olivier salad also has boiled egg in it. The vinaigrette salad… Read more

The food is so fresh and homemade and gives you a true taste of Russian/Ukrainian food! Our go-to's are always the Borscht soup, Darniskty Salad, Pelmeni, and Chicken Tabaka. They also always bring out some fresh Russian bread for FREE and they are super giving on the portion. The soup is a 10/10, reminds me of the Hong-Kong style borscht soup. Comforting, healthy, and hearty! The salad is by far the major reason I keep coming back. The dill, fresh tomato slices, salty onion, and cucumber with a little zest is so tasty and again super healthy! The pelmeni and tabaka are classics you can never go wrong with. The pelmeni also reminds me of Chinese pork dumplings and are absolutely delicious with their fresh sour cream dipping sauce. Our recent visit, we were sat on the exterior part of their restaurant and it was a bit chilly and windy so the owner provided me and my partner blankets! How sweet and thoughtful. Service is super friendly, just be mindful that it can be a little slow occasionally depending on reserved parties that day.

Especially when you dip a piece of the blintzes into the mushrooms sauce, it's a homerun. Plethora of flavors all working beautifully together to give you that "Oh Woooow" feeling of satisfaction. Definitely a must try here. The design here is rustic, old school Ukrainian-Russian, with a lot of wood finishes. The customer service here is consistently amazing. Will definitely be back again!

First off, I loved the cozy, charming European vibe of this place, with the indoor and outdoor dining. They got so many things on the menu that I feel it's perfect for eating meals or just getting some light drinks and desserts. I got the vegetarian omelet, apparently one of their best sellers, and I was amazed by the taste of it. The eggs themselves plus the side veggies, fruits, and butter made for a tasty and visually appealing meal. The Utopia Latte is the way to go, both for taste and presentation. I even tried the fruit tart and the chocolate baklava (yep, pretty unique). I feel I wanted to try everything on the menu. It's one of the restaurants that's worth a second visit. I think it's even cool how it's in a mall complex so you can shop or walk around afterwards, perhaps even go to Planet Fitness right around the corner.
