    Alt Wienerschnitzel
    Dennis E.

We took my son out for his birthday, and he suggested this place. It was in an old building that was nicely restored. The atmosphere in this place is warm and inviting. Our server came right over and took our drink order. When he returned with the drinks, we ordered dinner. I ordered the Alt Wienerschnitzel, my son ordered the Jaegerschnitzel Schnitzel, and my wife ordered the Sausage Platter. Our food took a bit to come out, but when it did it was totally worth the wait. Each of us liked our meal and thought it was good. This was a nice place to go to celebrate a special occasion. The price was reasonable for what you receive and I would definitely come back in the future.

I first visited Moser's about 12 years ago. At that time they were in a smaller location a few doors down. Sad to hear that the original owners sold this past year. Part of the charm was the previous owner and his family. Werner was from Austria and would make a point of welcoming all guests. That said, they have the same chef and menu. We started with the meat and cheese board with the olive spread -same great food! Then we had the bacon dumpling soup before our favorite - the schnitzel. Happy to share that it was just as delicious as ever. Good service, great food.

We had dinner there with my husband's parents. The food was great. I had the Cordon Blue schnitzel. It was huge and the left overs made for a great lunch. They have a nice assortment of beer. My family enjoyed their beer. Love seeing the wait staff wearing traditional Austrian garb as well. Will definitely go back again

Today we were there for the Lent Fish Specials and Large Beers. We were not disappointed. GreaT taste and texture, refills were hot, fresh and delivered promptly. The 1 Liter Stigel beer were excellent. We will be back for some traditional Austrian Food.

During our visit, most of the shaded seating appeared to be designated as dog-friendly, while the dog-free seating options were more limited. Clearer communication about seating expectations and pet policies could help guests choose the environment that best suits their preferences. We also observed a dog that was seated in a main walkway and jumped on patrons while eating. When staff were notified, the owners were asked to move farther down the seating area. While I appreciate that the restaurant welcomes dogs, maintaining consistent expectations for pet behavior would help ensure a comfortable experience for all guests. This is intended as constructive feedback. The food and atmosphere were excellent, and a little more clarity around pet-friendly and dog-free seating, along with consistent enforcement of pet behavior standards, would make the experience even better.

I've avoided trying them because I'd heard they were always busy and had long wait times. On this occasion we had no wait even though they were really busy. I'm really glad we gave the Black Dog Pub a try. Black Dog is located in a strip mall at the Coventry Plaza. Parking can be deceiving - if the front lot is full then park out back. There is a small outdoor eating area which you will encounter as you go inside. The Pub has an inviting but small bar located right at the entrance. The restaurant will only seat about 50 dinners inside. The four person table is very small. Not much room for 4 water glasses, 4 drinks, 1 appetizer dish and four entrees - actually painfully small. On this night the outside temp was 90 degrees. The kitchen wouldn't make pizzas, calzones or grill wings when it is this hot (safety reasons). The team here was very friendly and helpful. They really hustled, kept the refills coming and served us well!! The menu is fairly large - salads, burgers, pizza, sausage rolls/calzones, sandwiches, subs and wraps. Something for everyone. All items seemed reasonably priced...and the ones we tried were delicious! Here is a run down of the food items we ordered: -Onion Rings: Black Dog says these are the "Best in Town". I'd say they were really good and worth a try! They start with a thick piece of onion and hand batter it with a very thick coating. Not too oily. Not much added flavor in the breading. Just an outstanding onion ring! -Side House salad: nice sized salad with a variety of side vegetables and cheese. Everything was fresh and tasty. -Cole Slaw: "Our signature Cole Slaw" better be good! The slaw has medium sized cabbage and carrot pieces bathed in a very light mayo sauce. The dish is slightly sweet with a little added seasoning. It comes off refreshing and cool yo taste. I really liked this signature dish. -Sweet Chili Chicken wrap: my wife had the wrap. The chicken was moist and tender. The char broiling gives it an added flavor coupled with a very mild sweet chili sauce. No strong after taste kick. She really liked the delicious wrap. -8 piece jumbo wings: on the appetizer section of the menu for $11.50. In the 8 order...there were probably more large to medium sized wings than jumbo wings. My teriyaki wings were lightly fried such that the skins only had a small amount of crisp. The inside was thoroughly cooked - no pink. Unfortunately, they might have been a little over cooked as they were solid white and a little tough/dry. The teriyaki sauce was thinner in consistency. They dipped the wing in a healthy amount of sauce. Much of it pooled in the bottom of the basket. It had a decently dark and bold teriyaki flavor with no spicy after kick.

Worn out booths, cramped bar area. Bar food similar to quality of Chili's, Applebees, etc. There…read moreare better local options for food and beverages.

This "famous" little gem is known for its delicious pretzels and other scrumptious pretzel dough based delights. The pretzel was exactly what we had hoped for...light, airy, doughy, but with a crunchy exterior. The whole family enjoyed splitting one pretzel. Afterward, I was still feeling a bit peckish. I decided to order myself an ice coffee along with a pretzel dough rolled all beef hotdog with melted Swiss cheese sandwiched inside. Love at first bite. The whole experience was HEAVEN. I've never had more tasty "junk" food in my life. Dip it in the sweet mustard accompaniment (trust me) for the ultimate tastebud sensory experience. I think we spent under $15 for all the stuff. Sour Rye Soup: Not bad, but honestly, I wouldn't order it again... the fermented sourness was just too direct and intense. Polish Hunters Stew: Apparently a national dish of Poland. The first bite tasted like Italian meat sauce, with a rich tomato flavor and a slight smoky aroma; then I discovered the ingredients included sausage, cured beef brisket, minced meat, and sauerkraut, making it quite substantial and much more satisfying than Italian meat sauce. Overall, it was a rich, sweet and sour flavor, perfect with rice, pasta, or bread. Sauerkraut & Mushroom Pierogi: Dumplings, but the Polish version. The sauerkraut was only slightly sour, refreshing and delicious with the mushrooms, while the sour cream added a touch of creaminess and richness. Unfortunately, the skin was thick and sticky, as if it had been boiled for a long time. For better dumplings skin, please turn to a Northeastern Chinese. Half Duck: Strangely, it reminded me of confit de canard. The meat was incredibly tender, falling off the bone with a gentle pull; the melt-in-your-mouth texture was truly delightful. The cranberry sauce was perfectly balanced between sweet and sour, with a rich fruity and fermented aroma. The rosemary emerged in the aftertaste, enriching the flavors and cutting through the richness. The accompanying sauerkraut was even better than the duck, with a crunchy texture and a mild, pleasant sourness, enveloped in a rich buttery and creamy flavor. The accompanying fpotatoes were also soft and delicious, but the roasted pear was too overpowering in its softness and sweetness, not meeting my expectations for a palate cleanser. Table Bread: The bread itself was unremarkable, but the generous amount of butter was commendable. I cannot believe that there is only one server for all the tables.
