After eight years of traditional doctors telling me I was just depressed and I just needed to diet and exercise, I finally found a doctor that could fix me. I started going to Dr. Mosher in February. 1.) For my consultation, he put me in the same room as my 9 year old niece who has Turrets. Throughout the whole interview she was bouncing off the walls and repeating everything I or he said. - As my aunt and husband were also in the room, it made for a very public medical exam where I did not feel comfortable kicking my family out. He should have never put us in the same room at the same time, especially since him listening to me for 20 mins costs $125. 2.) He did not treat or listen to any of my symptoms which I have been dealing with for years. He pointed out that I was pregnant - at 7 months, this was not news to me - and he went on to lecture me on dietary supplements and that he had made "hundreds of babies" over the years with these supplements and nutritional plan. 3.) He continuously tried to engage my husband in political banter where he forced his anti-socialist views on the current state of German politics on us... We live in Germany, I grew up in Germany and studied Germanic Cultures at UC Berkeley. Needless to say my husband and I were turned off by his "conservative," mocking views of Germany and him treating me like an ignorant housewife. 4.) He ordered my husband to take notes on his minimally informative rantings about prenatal nutrition which was odd for us as we've both read several books on the subject and had come to seek advice on my low blood pressure, heart palpitations, anemia and susceptibility to fungal and bacterial infections. Doctors had previously suggested diabetes, thyroid, etc, etc. but with all tests coming back negative we thought we'd try this guy. Mr. Mosher (I refuse to call him a doctor) is one of the rudest and most belittling people I have ever met. I saw him today and honestly I cried after, he made me feel so bad about myself. He will interrupt you mid sentence and snap at you to "listen to me", he refuses and neglects to answer questions, and makes you feel stupid and unwanted. I have never been treated with such little respect by a so called doctor, I cannot believe I gave this asshole any money. DO NOT SEE HIM. He will ruin your day and make you feel like a small child being disciplined. Also, under his instruction, the nurse shoved some kind of medicine down my throat WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR MY KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT IS WAS. I was shocked and totally taken aback and when I asked what it was, she responded with "it's a surprise" I'm sorry WHAT?!? Not. Okay. This whole place is beyond unprofessional and Mosher is the biggest asshole I have ever met. I'm so disgusted and disappointed. I first went to see Dr. Mosher 8 or 9 years ago for help with fibroids. About a week prior to the appointment I had scratched the cornea of my eye and was in a lot of pain from that injury. I had gone to the emergency room for treatment, but there was nothing they could do. They said it would heal on its own in time. When Dr. Mosher saw the pain I was in, he offered to help. After a very brief acupuncture treatment - 1 needle for about 5 minutes - my pain was reduced. By the time I left, I could actually see out of my eye. By the next day, it was as though the injury had never occurred. I ultimately elected to have surgery for the fibroids (didn't want to give up chocolate and caffeine, not the best decision in hindsight). The surgery created an ileus which made it impossible for me to eat or drink or sleep. I won't go into the gory details, but suffice it to say that I was extremely sick. I had been in the hospital and was discharged, but still suffering from the same ailment. I again went to see Dr. Mosher - on Christmas Eve, he's amazing about wanting to help people get well - and he again administered an acupuncture treatment. That evening at about 1:00 am, I could actually feel the healing take place. The next morning when I was actually able to drink some broth for breakfast I literally cried. I had a severe knee injury that was keeping me from being able to be active in any way (I couldn't even play golf as my knee would give out). I went to Dr. Mosher and within one visit he diagnosed the problem and the pain in my knee is now completely gone after only two visits. I felt about 50% better after the first visit. And it wasn't my knee that had issues but my hip and neck that was causing my knee to have pain. Western Medicine would have simply treated the knee rather than figuring out that I had an issue with my hip and neck. We are now working on other issues that I have been dealing with for over 20 years. I get several sinus infections on average a year and have just dealt with it as my normal. We are making good progress on finding out what dietary and environmental habits are causing me to have these health issues. My first experience with Bret occurred about 5 years ago, when I was referred to him by my dentist office. I was suffering from Plantar Faciatis and experiencing significant pain in my heel. I was unable to walk on the heel for about the first 10 minutes upon waking. My GP had given me 3 cortizone shots in the heel, which worked temporarily, but each wore off within about 2 months. Bret pressed on the heel (I screamed), then felt around my stomach and explained that he believed that the problem was steming from a stomach infection. He performed some acpuncture,(my first experience with that...painless) then had me consume some not so yummy Chinese herbs. He said that he'd be back in about 20 minutes to check on me. I am recommending Dr Mosher to all my friends and family! I am 57 years old, have had body pain every single day, stiffness, lack of range of motion and immediately DURING my intial exam felt 90% better.
