Omg this place blew me away! I am still thinking about it weeks later. I had the chicken platter and the moment my cousin and I bit into the chicken we looked at each other and went "WOW" the chicken is phenomenal so juicy yet still has the yummy grill texture and flavor. The rice was also amazing! My only complaint is the hummus could have more salt or seasoning, it's very simple, but that's just my personal preference. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's located in a very affluent area of Boca Raton, not fancy but not ugly. It's a mom and pop type small restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't wait to go back!

Our first time here. We tried a couple of weeks ago but they were closing. Glad we came back. Outstanding service! Delicious warm pita bread. Our friends told me to order the lentil soup. Glad I did. So flavorful & and quite a generous amount. The small Greek salad was one of the best I have had- fresh veggies, flavorful tomatoes & the perfect dressing & delicious Feta. Fiance ate every bite of his perfectly cooked chicken & I helped him eat the rice ! I should have ordered my own rice - it is that delicious! We look forward to returning soon!

What a great find! We came here for lunch before heading to the airport and the food was phenomenal! For an appetizer we ordered the hummus with pita bread and it's definitely made in house. The flavor was so amazing and the pitas were super fresh. I tried a different dish for my entree. I can't remember the name but man were they good! They were small stuffed dumplings (what the texture reminded me of) topped with a tomato sauce and feta. It was sooo good I wish I knew of place in Indianapolis who served the same dish. Mi Amor had the traditional gyro and mmmmmmm. The flavor was sensational! The meat was so tender and flavorful I found myself taking a couple of bites of his food. If you're in the Boca Ratón area stop here for traditional classic Mediterranean dishes done right.

Burnt pieces of pita bread with "airplane" butter the owner probably stole from some crummy motel.

This is the worst Mediterranean "restaurant" I have ever been to in my life. I asked for the weekday lunch menu yet I was given the diner/weekend menu showing double the cost of every single menu item. The service was crap. The super overpriced food was crap. Burnt pieces of pita with airplane butter??!!! I'm not a dog but the owner and or manager of this place seemed to think me and my family were. I hope this place shuts down and the owner goes back to wherever crappy part of the world they came from.

Recently, I've been on a mission to find good shawarma. It's really a tough challenge in the best of times, but in south Florida during Covid-19, I expected it to be impossible. I was looking thru Google Maps one day and noticed a photo from Mediterranean Kebab House with a giant, delicious looking shawarma spinning in a upright grill. They also had many photos of kebabs that looked sensational. It all appeared to be really good, so I cross checked the reviews in Yelp to make sure it was well rated and remembered that we ate there a year ago and gave it five stars. I then got pretty excited to go back! When we arrived at around 1230pm, the place was empty, but a few other tables filled up as we sat there. There was an excellent amount of seating out back, presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner. It almost felt like we were in Turkey or the Middle East and not in a back alley in Florida. Good job there. We ordered 3 Adana lamb kebabs, a spicy beyti kebab and a shawarma. We also got the falafel appetizer. It's clear that the food is prepared with quality ingredients and the flavor profile was excellent. Whomever cooked these dishes was obviously an expert. What's confounding is that everything we were served was clearly not made fresh to order. It was all reheated. All of the kebabs were dried out and not at all juicy. The shawarma was barely warm. All of the fries were under cooked, cool to the touch and under salted. Finally, the purportedly spicy beyti kebab was not spicy at all, the meat was dense from over warming I think, and in our opinion, it was the worst dish of the bunch. The falafel was in fact pretty good, but we didn't feel like it was fresh out of the fryer. As I said, the quality and flavor is there for nearly everything, so it's a real tragedy that nothing was made fresh. I understand that there's a pandemic and traffic is down, but if you're open and offering these dishes, it should be served right. Kebabs should be hot and juicy served off the grill. Serving reheated kebabs and shawarma with lukewarm at best fries on the side just isn't the way to go. Not acceptable whatsoever.

Really great food and amazing service. Super friendly. The food tasted authentic. Super yummy. I grew up in Germany and we have a lot of Turkish and Greek restaurants back home and the food here tasted like a taste from home. I also got a fresh brewed Turkish tea. It was great. I highly recommend it.

The manager, who I was told is her best friend, was actually professional, kind, and communicative. I'm an influencer and I also attend Yelp Elite events so I'm very used to trying new spots, giving honest feedback, and collaborating with businesses. On this night I had just come from an influencer event with a big group of friends and we wanted to keep the night going, so one of my friends suggested a hookah place nearby that stays open late and we decided to check it out. I even offered a potential collaboration, which is something I do often with businesses. Some say yes, some say no, and that is completely fine. What isn't fine is overhearing the owner speaking about me to her staff in a rude and unprofessional way, assuming I couldn't hear it. I approached her calmly and addressed it directly. Letting her know I hear her speaking of me. She immediately changed her tone and asked what I heard. I chose to de-escalate and move on and I said I heard she's excited to collab. Just to keep the peace. That alone says a lot. Beyond that, the service overall was unprofessional. At closing, instead of communicating that they were closing, the hookah was abruptly taken from my hand with no communication as decent customer service would do, even though there were still other tables present. Again, this was the owner. Overall, between the low quality experience, the contrast between the nice outdoor setup, and the lack of basic respect and professionalism, I would not recommend this place. I suggest the owner take notes from the manager. The only positives was the managers professionalism and the outdoor was beautifully decorated. But that's it.

Our reservation was honored, we did not have a wait. The restaurant felt like we were in Mykonos, lots of blue and white and photos from Greece. I love the open kitchen with a huge charcoal grill. There was a patio in the back and a big party room that can accommodate 80 with a very nice family style menu. Martha waited on us and she was attentive. Initially, we felt very rushed with the wine menu taken away before we all had a chance to look. Minutes after our appetizers came out our entrées were placed on the table. The manager was very accommodating and was able to slow our meal down so we could enjoy each other's company as well as the food. The menu looks delicious with lots of healthy salads, soups, hot, and cold mezze, fish, kebabs, grilled meats and all the Greek dishes that I love. The most difficult part was making a choice. Happily all six of us chose something different. I enjoyed my Greek white wine and started with a scallop appetizer while my husband had calamari and we shared the roasted lamb entree. The scallops were grilled to perfection, juicy on a bed of orzo with spinach and vegetables. The roasted lamb was so tender, sweet and flavorful. Friends enjoyed their salads, stuffed peppers, Bronzino and shrimp. Portions were generous they were really family style. We enjoyed the assorted tray of Greek desserts, sampling the rice pudding, and baklava.

Going in, there were a decent amount of seats available and we placed our orders quickly. For dinner, we ordered 1x small bowl with spicy chicken, yellow rice, kale, red pepper hummus, mushrooms, cucumber & tomato salad, taboli salad, pickled cabbage, red onions, olives, feta, and the spicy tahini sauce and 1x pita wrap with medi chicken, taziki, cucumber & tomato salad, lettuce, pickled cabbage, olives, garbanzo beans, mushrooms and red pepper hummus. Moving on with my review, everything was very tasty! The spicy chicken bowl had great contrast of sweet, tangy, spicy, salty flavors, and ingredients all tasted very fresh too! The medi chicken pita also had a great combination of flavors and all the condiments/ingredients tasted freshly prepared! Overall, we were glad to shake up our usual food routine for a change as everything again was fresh and not too pricey considering the quality and portion sizes received. My final rating of Orion is 5/5 stars!
